02/11/2025: I finally got around to it! The menu offers four different meats, a selection of side dishes, and a few appetizer boards. We started with a mixed cold cuts platter, then chose the tartare with all the sauce, version B, which we loved so much we ordered another. The basic weight is 150g, but for €5 more you can add 50g. I recommend adding them. For our appetizer, we chose potatoes with Gorgonzola and Amarone, which were also delicious. There were homemade desserts; we wanted to try them all, but we limited ourselves to the chocolate salami. Finally, a salami made with dark chocolate. Excellent! The interior is charming. Upon entering, it feels more like a tavern with wooden tables, but as you enter the second, larger room, it's more industrial, with a predominantly gray color and iron table and chair frames. The overall feel is made comfortable by thoughtful lighting and a plant and tree trunk arrangement in the center of the room. The only downside is that this room smells musty when you enter, but it soon fades. Overall, everything was excellent, the staff were friendly and available to answer any questions or concerns. I'll definitely be back.

14/09/2025: A restaurant specializing in tartar, just steps from the center of Padua. Small but bold and excellent selections—this is synonymous with quality. Various tartar options, including customizable sizes and ingredients. Generous and extremely tasty side dishes are available, as are the accompanying appetizers. Personally, the cheese platter and potatoes with Gorgonzola and Amarone were excellent, as was the freshly made tartar, which was truly perfect. Perhaps an alternative to the house wine is missing; it could be an interesting option. Another small flaw is the seating, which is decidedly low. Otherwise: a quaint place, friendly staff, and good food.

23/10/2025: Very terrible experience. They didn't have most of the dishes in the menu. We ordered seafood spaghettis, but got only small shrimps. And It's not cheap at all. Only cash accepted, and no Receipt.

19/10/2025: The squid ink pasta and seafood risotto were delicious. It's a little cheaper than in the city center. The atmosphere of the terrace seats is also great.

11/11/2025: I'll start by saying I've heard great things about it. I'll start by saying I still have to go there for lunch because we've booked a lunch for the end of the month. But for now, I can say the staff seemed efficient, and I have to compliment the owner, who was willing to prepare a menu for this lunch... And the great thing is the wide selection of set menus, at a great price! I'll see how lunch turns out later. 😀

09/11/2025: I suggest noting on the dedicated website that dogs are NOT allowed. Perhaps in a visible manner. In my case, a small dog weighing 3 kg, accustomed to entering and staying in any public place, was not allowed access. This is the first time I've encountered such hostility. I certainly won't return, also because of the service, which, during lunch, proved to be less than attentive.

02/10/2025: On the outside wall, a plaque identifies the current restaurant as the birthplace of Antonio Ascari, an Alfa Romeo driver from the 1920s and father of the more famous Alberto Ascari, a Ferrari driver and world champion from the 1950s. It should be a typical restaurant, but in reality, except for a few dishes, it offers a rather banal menu. The tagliatelle with duck ragù is good, but the bigoli with sardines is less so. The fried "pessin e saltai" (fish and chips) is awful; the pizza is adequate. Prices are reasonable. On average, it would be two and a half stars... I was being generous.

12/10/2025: I wasn't familiar with this place, but discovered it at a friend's wedding. Enchanting location, excellent food, impeccable service. A wonderful experience!

11/09/2025: A lovely place, discovered through friends, and we met for an aperitif that was so enjoyable that it then turned into dinner! My expectations were met because I found good food and excellent wines, with a surprising variety of gins! The staff were friendly and professional, attentive to our every need! Some of the desserts we chose were also excellent! I think I'll be back, in fact, without a doubt!

11/08/2025: A warm and welcoming atmosphere, surprising cuisine, and traditional Venetian dishes expertly prepared with quality ingredients. The various courses offer a touch of originality, beautifully blended with traditional flavors. Excellent wine selection.

13/07/2025: Everything was excellent. Excellent and high-quality service, always maintaining the high tradition of a true trattoria. Superb food.

26/10/2025: This year, too, I went to pray to the Saint in Padua, and as usual, I stopped for lunch. I wanted to try the "Trattoria storica AL MORETTO" and was very satisfied with my choice. It's strange to consider what is actually a restaurant a trattoria... very clean, tables with tablecloths and cloth napkins, excellent service, delicious food, and, of course, the price is more like a restaurant than a trattoria... but in my opinion, that's the way it should be. If you eat well, in a beautiful setting, with excellent service... you'll gladly pay a little more but leave feeling satisfied and contented. That's my opinion, and for all this, I highly recommend it if you find yourself in Padua trying to decide where to stop for lunch... and enjoy your meal.

04/10/2025: I dined at this restaurant for the first time last night with my family. From the outside, it doesn't look inviting at all, but inside, the place is simple but charming, very clean, tidy, and the service was satisfactory. The wait just meant more time was spent preparing the dishes, so I personally don't rate it negatively. The food was delicious (the starters were amazing), as were the fried fish and the peppery mussels. The portions were normal, although a little more, especially with the starters, would have been greatly appreciated. The prices are absolutely fair. The staff is courteous and attentive. Truly good...and good people. I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.
