08/01/2026: I was disappointed with the burger; the meat didn't seem very fresh, and the slice of bread at the bottom of the bun was soggy and impossible to pick up without falling apart. The pasta was okay, as were the dessert and polenta. The menu seemed to lack any mention of the freshness of the products next to the dishes.

The atmosphere was very welcoming, with a quiet and relaxing atmosphere: it wasn't too noisy and the ambiance was truly comfortable, which is not a given. There's also a very pleasant outdoor area, perfect for a quiet al fresco meal.
The food is excellent, with traditional dishes prepared with great care and using the freshest ingredients.
An added bonus is definitely the owner, who is very kind, helpful, and attentive to his customers, making you feel at home.
20/02/2026: I've been coming to this place for over ten years during the truffle festival. What can I say? The owners are kind and friendly, as is the rest of the staff. Excellent food and very competitive prices. Try it, you won't regret it.

03/01/2026: My husband and I had dinner here on a night were townsfolk happened to be serenading each store in the town! It was a lovely experience and the food was really excellent! We highly recommend this place and love and appreciate how well it is a staple of the community!
31/12/2025: While strolling through Norcia and the surrounding area, we couldn't help but try some local cuisine. We ordered two plates of fregnacce alla norcina, mine with truffle. Then we shared a homemade tiramisu. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous.

19/10/2025: What can I say...only positive things...beyond the rich dishes served by a very attentive and competent staff, the owner pampered us and we truly felt like we were among friends.
It was our anniversary and Castelluccio is our refuge; now the "Taverna di Castelluccio" will also be in our hearts.

The place was very nice, tidy, and above all clean, as was the service! We tried an appetizer and a first course featuring local truffles, both special!
The service was impeccable and there was a great empathy from both the owner and his son who served us!
The prices were fair, I highly recommend it.

Excellent value for money, we'll definitely be back.

04/01/2026: We just had lunch here, and I think it truly deserves a full 5-star rating. An excellent lunch at a fair price. Top-quality local produce. Incredible hams and cheeses that melt in your mouth. Truly delicious first courses and incredibly tender meat. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Truly excellent.
03/01/2026: A top-notch farmhouse. Just steps from the center of Norcia. The rooms are warm and welcoming, equipped with every comfort. The food is excellent, expertly prepared with locally sourced ingredients.
We spent New Year's Eve here, and on the evening of the 31st, the atmosphere was like a family celebration, with a delicious dinner, good music, and a convivial atmosphere.
The owners, Fabio and Federica, are loving people with unparalleled helpfulness and courtesy.
I recommend everyone to experience this place...

26/10/2025: Breathtaking views of the Castelluccio plain. During our stay, we even enjoyed some snow on the summits of some of the mountains. A traditional dinner and a hearty breakfast were served. The price was reasonable, considering the warm welcome, the room, and the location.
13/10/2025: I've been staying at Monte Veletta for a few years now. It's the perfect place: you sleep well, it's clean, beautiful, and Signora Luigia's cooking is exceptional. Michela, her daughter, waits tables and makes the desserts. Breakfasts are plentiful, with Michela's cakes. It's a family-run establishment: I recommend trying the lentil soup, which comes directly from the land of Signor Ottavio, the head of the family.

16/01/2026: Easy-to-reach restaurant with parking underneath next to the supermarket. A cozy and well-kept place.
Varied menu, efficient and attentive service, and friendly staff.
The pappardelle with truffles are good, but not particularly noteworthy in my personal taste; I prefer grated truffles rather than thinly sliced.
The sausages and lentils are good.
The portions are generous.
Prices are average.

In addition to the quality of the dishes, which are carefully prepared and excellent, you'll find a genuine and sincere welcome that will immediately put you at ease. You can sense genuine attention to both the customer and the product. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for both the cuisine and the atmosphere.
