14/08/2026: Restaurant and refuge, near the chairlift, spectacular views; modern and contemporary furnishings in traditional light wood. The cuisine offers excellent food and the staff are friendly. Traditional dishes with authentic flair, excellent and plentiful. Good service.

11/08/2026: A must-see if you're hiking on the plateau. Excellent food. Try the apple donuts with vanilla cream.

07/08/2026: Very good service, even for takeaway. The staff are always kind, friendly, and helpful. Definitely one of the best pizzas in town!

06/08/2026: Delicious and lovely spot! Visited 2 different nights, and food was fantastic each time. We were seated quickly each evening as a party of 2. Larger parties seemed to have to wait a bit longer.

13/08/2026: A very beautiful mountain refuge and restaurant, furnished with fine wood, in a superb location. Excellent local cuisine, using quality local ingredients, offers tasty, authentic dishes, and excellent food. Fine wines are also available. Weather permitting, you can dine outside at large tables under umbrellas, with a wonderful view. Good service.

10/08/2026: Tomas, his family and team run a small parcel of heaven at their rifugio in the Italian Dolomites. Rebuilt 4 years ago, Ütia Crëp de Munt combines a five star environment with service that oozes warmth, charm and ‘the hospitality gene’ in spades. Oh, and if the food and wine isn’t yet Michelin Star rated then it’s only a matter of time. Thank you Tomas for a wonderful stay.

27/07/2026: Real rating 4.8 Excellent, well-topped pizzas, and some of the ones on the menu aren't discounted. Reservations aren't possible, so there's a long line, but it's well-managed. The staff is friendly, and the pizzas, though more expensive than in many other tourist spots, are large and filling. The disposable placemats on the table are fun, a pastime for everyone. Highly recommended.

18/03/2026: Chalet restaurant in a superb location at the foot of the Sassongher mountain on the Colfosco estate. It boasts a beautiful, large, and perfectly oriented terrace offering a splendid 300-degree view. The food is excellent and delicious.

We tried the tagliata and the bistecca alla fiorentina—honestly, the best steak I’ve had in the Dolomites. The hospitality is wonderful, and the service is great. Their wine, beer, and Aperol Spritz are also top-notch

22/03/2026: Terrible management and customer service: I do not recommend it. We recently stayed for 6 days at this hotel in Corvara and, unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Although the rooms are fine, the service and the staff's attitude completely ruined the stay. The worst: The owner and staff's behavior **Lack of manners:** The owner is a rude person who doesn't know how to treat customers. We asked for tap water, they said okay, and then he forbade it. The restaurant staff followed the same pattern; they scolded us for absurd reasons on several occasions. **Uncomfortable surveillance:** During breakfast and dinner, the waiters constantly watch you to see what you take from the buffet, creating a very tense and unpleasant atmosphere. Very poor food **Breakfast:** They don't replenish the food as it runs out, apparently with the intention of encouraging guests to consume as little as possible. Also, the coffee is water. **Dinner:** The quality is very mediocre. On our last day, they served entrecote and it was awful; another day they served us pork instead of beef, which is unacceptable. Conclusion: It's a shame that a hotel in such a beautiful location fails at the most basic things: hospitality and food quality. I don't recommend this hotel for staying in Corvara.

23/12/2025: A restaurant where you can eat very well, traditional cuisine, excellent dumplings and pork shank! Robert is a great host! Very central location.

22/12/2025: A classic guesthouse, superbly located for skiing, a short walk to the slopes and then a short run to the Boe gondola – perfect. Great, generous breakfast buffet; unfortunately, the coffee is from a machine, but tea is available. The rooms are simple but renovated. All in all, highly recommended.

21/12/2025: What a magnificent refuge! Nestled in the middle of the Corvara ski slopes, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Dolomites while savoring excellently prepared and delicious dishes. The service is quick, efficient, and very friendly, making you feel at home. I recommend the desserts, which are truly special. Thank you, Michela and all the staff. We'll be back.

09/12/2025: The best eggs, spelt, and potatoes in the Dolomites! I've eaten them everywhere, even at the mountain hut famous for this dish, and there's no comparison; these are hands-down winners. The tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù and the ones with venison ragù are delicious. Top! We'll be back.

18/08/2026: I have to compliment the creator of this menu, because honestly I have never heard or seen a "tap glass" for one euro anywhere, not to mention the iced coffee I ordered in a white glass... with a paltry quantity for the asking price... 6 euros

14/08/2026: I had dinner here with my family, 2 adults and 2 children. The staff was super friendly and very professional, the food was high quality and quantity! The wine cellar is excellent, with a wide selection of wines! The bill was a little high, perhaps more for items like water than for the food! Highly recommended!

28/03/2026: Second time visiting Col Alto Hotel and it was, like last time, everything and more! Best location, incredible rooms & fitness/spa facilities, and most importantly wonderful staff! Esther was serving us throughout are week and she was honestly incredible. She would greet us with such warmth every morning and go above and beyond for us. Esther we couldn’t be more grateful for everything, you are truly the BEST!

06/03/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Col Alto. The location is fantastic, and the buses to get you to/from the ski lifts were quick and efficient. The pool and saunas were clean, and perfect relaxing environments after a long day of skiing. We especially loved the breakfast buffet, complete with a ton of gluten free options. The rooms are a little dated, but that's so easy to look past with all of the other great things this hotel has to offer. We would no doubt stay here again. The ski rental shop next door gives you a great discount if you mention you are staying at Hotel Col Alto as well!
