21/08/2025: In this restaurant, everything draws inspiration from an ancient monastic culinary art. I personally ordered a slice of veal with a side of potatoes. Everything was prepared with fresh, organic ingredients. The waiters were all very kind. I really appreciated that they provided many explanations on how the dishes were prepared. The only small flaw is that the slice should be made slightly thicker and the breading improved because it crumbled. However, I am very satisfied! I will definitely be back.

19/08/2025: Hidden away in an alleyway in Brixen's old town, the entrance to this restaurant's gardens and terraces is hard to imagine. The cozy atmosphere created by the Virginia creeper covering the terraces immediately makes you want to stay. The courteous and stylish welcome continues this initial impression. As for the menu, it's a wonderful discovery with delicious and superbly presented dishes. Veal sauté on mashed potatoes and a bed of chanterelles surrounded by a green sauce... A melt-in-the-mouth delight! Followed by candied strawberries macerated in a strawberry cream and a basil ice cream that will surprise you. Identified by Gault & Millau, it's remarkable! The white wine from the monks of the Novacella Abbey, 2km from Brixen, envelops everything with very floral and citrus aromas. What a magnificent discovery! And a waiter with a sweet tooth...

03/09/2025: We celebrated a milestone birthday here and felt incredibly well looked after and enjoyed excellent food. The quality of the fish and meat, both for starters and main courses, was excellent, the side dishes were basic but delicious, and the sauces were very fine. We also received excellent advice on wine and other drinks, which is unfortunately not a given everywhere. The chocolate cake with a liquid center was the perfect dessert, and the portion size wasn't too large either. We will be back, thank you for the lovely evening here!

31/08/2025: I was here for lunch yesterday on my trip to South Tyrol and it was fabulous! The staff were very nice and the food and wine delicious. I would definitely recommend you give it a try!

29/08/2025: I was blown away by the quality of service here and was pleasantly surprised by the local cuisine served here, which was the perfect mixture of Italian and South Tyrollean flavors. The bartender, David, makes amazing cocktails and matcha lattes! Highly recommend 10/10

21/08/2025: Looking for a good restaurant, we initially wanted to go to the Röslein, but unfortunately it was fully booked, so we were recommended the Traubenwirt. The restaurant is divided outside, so we were facing the other side. Bottle of water and bottle of wine. A salad, pizza, and gnocchi, all together, please. First, we received a greeting from the kitchen, which was nice, but oh well, we can't bother. Two minutes later, the pizza arrived, and my wife's meal arrived 10 minutes later. The food was OK. Service was very good at first, but the later the evening, the more infrequent the service became. I found the restrooms the worst: unfortunately, they weren't clean, there was no toilet paper, the trash can was overflowing, and the mop was just lying around. Perhaps I should have used the restrooms in the main building, which is why I only gave them 2 stars for the ambience.

Special mention goes to the friendly owner, whose pleasant manner rounds off the whole experience. A clear recommendation – we'll definitely be back. Truly lovely!

28/07/2025: I was there 14 days ago! It was amazing. Unforgettable! These people do everything themselves! And they do it all with such kindness! Children are very welcome. Even requests for any food allergies are respected! Simply fantastic!

30/06/2025: Struttura moderna che mantiene un certo stile tirolese con molti arredi in legno . Stupenda la SPA e la piscina interna così come quella esterna . Staff super accogliente e disponibile e lo chef cucina piatti molto buoni . Molto utile anche il campo da Ping pong per una bella partita coi bambini . Peccato che la camera da 4 prevede un divano letto che non è comodissimo e la mancanza di un frigo bar che è molto strano per una struttura di questo tipo .

21/06/2025: The hotel is beautifully situated above Brixen with a fantastic view. The hotel has been beautifully renovated. The reception, the restaurant, the rooms, and the wellness area are all very nice. The service was outstanding. We always received exceptionally good service and advice. We particularly liked the fact that it is a small, quiet hotel. Our children still had a great time! The dinner was excellent. We had a wonderful week and would love to come back!

13/07/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Weidmannshof. A wonderful location, hospitable, attentive service, excellent food, and family- and pet-friendly. 🐕. We visited with four teenagers, two adults, and one dog, using the Weidmannshof as the starting and ending point for our hut hike (from Bressanone/Tils to Merano). The farm is easily accessible by car, and we took public transport back from Merano. The bus stops right outside the front door. 5 out of 5 stars.

21/04/2025: The inn is recommended, super clean and great location with various hiking opportunities. There is a bus from Brixen to Tils if someone comes by train. The Hofer family is very helpful. I had a great time in these 3 days, thank you very much.

23/08/2025: You can only sit down if you order at the restaurant. If you order sandwiches (which aren't cheap, by the way), you have to eat them outside. With empty tables and a closed kitchen. Welcoming customers is another matter entirely.

25/07/2025: Great every time. :) Very tasty delicatessen in the heart of Brixen. We stop here regularly and enjoy a coffee on the sunny terrace. Very friendly service. 👍🏼

10/09/2025: Parking spaces could be better signposted, the saltwater pool is closed without any information on the website (no price reduction), and the "picnic area" is truly a joke. Modern chip bracelets, but without a payment function... First and last visit.
