08/01/2025: Wie waren über Silvester für eine Woche im Apartment-Haus Alpenrose zu Gast. Wir waren begeistert. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und bieten jederzeit Hilfe an. Das Haus ist modern und sauber. Die Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden mehrfach in der Woche gewechselt, was in einer Ferienwohnung ungewöhnlich ist. Ein Highlight ist auch das dazugehörige Restaurant. Leckeres und gehobenes Essen zu einem fairen Preis. Es gibt auch einen Frühstücksservice für das Zimmer. Den habe zwar nicht in Anspruch genommen, ist aber klasse.

As soon as we arrived we received an incredibly warm welcome - the service is not only professional, but also very attentive and full of passion for what they do. You really feel welcome and well looked after here. The spa area is an absolute highlight: inspired by Roman bathing culture, with stylish design, soothing water pools and an ambience that immediately invites you to deep relaxation. Particularly impressive is the cold water pool with a view of the sky, which is reminiscent of the ancient frigidarium - a true experience for body and mind. The Fink Hotel also has something very special to offer in terms of cuisine. The kitchen follows the principles of Hildegard von Bingen and focuses on healthy, soothing and wholesome dishes. Each dish not only tastes excellent and intense thanks to local products, but is also aimed at strengthening the body and well-being. A wonderful combination of enjoyment and health! The location couldn't be better either - right in the heart of Brixen, perfect for exploring the city and beyond. The well-known photo spot with the church of St. Johann in Val di Funes is also only a 25-minute drive away - and can even be easily reached by bus from the hotel. Despite its central location, the hotel is still a real oasis of peace. Whether for a short stopover, weekend trip or longer vacation - it is an absolute recommendation from us!

The half board is more expensive (€69) than in other huts, but the starter and main course were very good and the portions were very large, and the breakfast was also extremely good. The service is professional, kind, fast, formal and attentive in both German and Italian. The à la carte menu is modern but strongly linked to traditional Austrian and Italian cuisine with a great selection of seasonal and local dishes – also the wine list provides a great selection of pairings by the glass to the menu. From the foods execution to the presentation, nothing was missed and everything tasted great and looked superb. Recommending trying the soup made with Sylvaner wine from the Isarco valley. Also the Spaghetti with fresh truffle – simple yet unbelievably delicious 🤤

Delicious dishes, typical traditional elements are found, but always with an extra note of character. The strudel is absolutely worth trying (one of the best I have personally tasted!)

02/09/2024: Hatte gerade eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung in dieser Bar. Ich kam um kurz nach 11:30 Uhr dort rein (es gab noch jede Menge Leute auf der Teresse mit ganz vollen Gläsern, die gerade serviert worden waren). Und ich habe höflich gefragt, ob ich noch ein Getränk haben könnte. Die junge Bedienung meinte, „ich entscheide das“, wobei ich dann schon sehr erstaunt war über diese Reaktion. Dann hab ich ihr gesagt. Natürlich entscheiden Sie das. Aber wäre es vielleicht möglich, dass ich noch ein Bier bekommen könnte? Dann meinte sie ja ok. plötzlich ruft ihr Kollege von nebenan. Nein, es gibt nichts mehr und als ich ihn freundlich anspreche und frage, dass seine Kollegin mir doch gerade zugesagt hat, dass ich noch ein Bier bekomme und es auch schnell trinken werde, so dass ich wie alle anderen Gäste um kurz vor zwölf fertig bin, Wird er unverschämt, und ich muss dazu sagen, eine solche Behandlung habe ich in hunderten von Bars, wo ich in meinem Leben bisher als Reisender MentalCoach gewesen bin noch nie erlebt! Ich hab ihm das dann auch gesagt, dass seine Art mit Kunden umzugehen durchaus noch verbesserungsfähig ist. Ich hatte schon mal erlebt, dass sie dort in der Bahn nicht gerade freundlich mit uns Gästen umgegangen sind, aber jetzt reicht es wirklich mal. Nie wieder werde ich dieses Lokal betreten.
