08/01/2026: We ate here a couple of nights ago, and it wasn't good. I had high expectations, even reading the reviews, but the food tasted bland. I wouldn't recommend it.

20/12/2025: I left a €50 deposit and had to cancel after 10 minutes due to an error. I called and asked if I could reverse the transaction, and they told me that to get the deposit back, I only had to take €20 because they were keeping €30 for the refund.
This doesn't seem normal to me; I've never heard of anything like it.
03/11/2025: Five stars are not enough to rate this place. Staying there was an eleven-star experience! Everything in Gasthof Kohlern invites you to slowly appreciate the beauty of life: the natural environment, with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains; the cuisine, with delicious and refined dishes, the wines, the breakfasts; the simple elegance of the rooms; the peace and quiet; and last but not least, the generous and considerate kindness of the staff. Viele Dank: you make this place a perfect combination of charming and soothing.

In macrobiotics, food nourishes when it's cooked with love, when the chef cares for the soul and emotions as well as the proportions and nutritional pairings. Pasquale and Doris are family to us. 09/12/2025: Passione Pizza da Angelo is a true landmark in Bolzano. As soon as you enter, you're greeted by extremely friendly, helpful, and smiling staff who immediately make you feel at ease. The place is very clean, well-kept, and pleasant, perfect for both a relaxed dinner and an evening with friends.
The pizzas are simply exceptional: high-quality ingredients, light and carefully crafted dough, and generous yet balanced toppings. A rich, complete pizza, filling yet not heavy, thanks to the perfect balance of lightness and flavor. Every bite demonstrates passion and expertise.
The quality-price ratio is also excellent: we paid a fair price for what we got, and in fact, the quality exceeded expectations.
In short: a truly worthwhile pizzeria, both for the food and the hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

17/01/2026: The manager of the restaurant was extremely rude. I asked for a reservation for a table for two people, so far so good... Until he asked me the time. I told him between 1:20 and 1:30 pm because I had a commitment. He replied with arrogance and arrogance that there was no such thing as talking around with him, but it was necessary to be precise and specify the time. I politely told him (unlike him who has no manners) to write down 1:30 pm. As I was leaving, I heard him making fun of the other waiters. Dear manager, if you earn those few pennies thanks to us tourists that we give you, you just have to thank us, otherwise you would have been milking cows in the Dolomites.
13/01/2026: Great experience! The place was packed and a bit chaotic, but they were very kind in finding us a table for two without a reservation.
The guy who served us was very knowledgeable about gluten-free options and pointed out everything I could eat without a care or that could be modified, including desserts! The food was so rich and excellent, both in terms of selection and quantity. I highly recommend it!

04/12/2025: Neat and clean room, excellent location just steps from the historic center and the Christmas markets, conveniently located near public transportation, covered parking nearby, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
25/10/2025: The cleanliness of the rooms (especially the bathrooms) is questionable. Otherwise, a solid hotel close to the center.

21/07/2025: Pictures do not match the actual pizza. The pizza was mid and they didn't have beer from the tap (which was on the menu). I really don't understand the majority of the reviews here. There was one service personnel and he forgot what we had to order multiple times despite being only one of three customers. Would not go back or recommend it. The pizza next door is far superior and authentic taste and staff.

28/12/2025: We stopped by for an afternoon merenda and enjoyed dessert with coffee. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming.
I ordered the mousse alle castagne, which was really good and perfectly suited for a cozy afternoon treat.
The atmosphere can get a bit noisy, but it didn’t take away from the experience. We still enjoyed our time there.

25/10/2025: Many of you go to Nadamas for drinks, which is understandable, although you have to be careful. BUT the real discovery is hidden on the last page of the menu... among the desserts, you'll find a surprise: vanilla ice cream with warm berries.

Warm (winter) and comfortable rooms.
Some furnishings are missing, but this may be due to the renovations currently underway.
The breakfast was excellent and plentiful.
