30/12/2025: One star because I can't live without it. One word. Terrible! A night at a friend's house, we're having a party, we're not going to a restaurant, it's close, let's go. Problem 1: Only large size, 4 or 8 slices, and oh well, there are six of us. Problem 2: They don't take reservations. It's a non-issue, it's a choice, and I agree with it. Problem 3: Very important. To make a pizza—I won't say fantastic, but at least good—it takes the same amount of time to make a terrible pizza. I strongly advise against it during busy times; perhaps, without so much pressure, something better will come out, but I doubt it. Bland and flavorless dough, tomato sauce that didn't arrive, mozzarella (spun curd) that separates from the casein. If you use low-quality products, a good pizza will never come out of the oven. Sorry, I don't usually write negative reviews. If I'd eaten there, I would have explained my situation directly. My advice: Avoid. Don't underestimate the price. Expensive for the quality.

23/01/2025: I had already been to this place a few years ago, and I liked it. But last night I probably ran into an unlucky evening. First of all, they tell me that the dishes in the kitchen are not there because there is no cook... Oh well… I order a cutting board. However, a platter presented as a mixture of cured meats and cheeses, in which you put three small pieces of a single cheese, is not exactly the best. And the wine, a bubble that should have been served cold, was instead brought to me at too high a temperature. I finish the platter, and sip the wine, but I realize that, even though it's only 9.40pm, I'm left alone in the place and they're starting to clear out, making me understand that I basically have to get out of the way. So I get up, pay and ask for the invoice, but they can't get it to me for inexplicable technical reasons, after half an hour of trying, claiming that they've just changed the software. No evening, here...

10/01/2025: Nice place, good and plentiful aperitif (6 euros), good food especially the mustard potatoes. Small negative note: the goulash arrived lukewarm.

27/12/2025: Excellent kebab in the center of Pavia, with a friendly and helpful owner. We ordered two piadinas, four pieces of baklava, and a bottle of water, for €17. The kebab was excellent, plentiful and with fresh toppings, but most importantly, the piadina was grilled on the outside, making it crispy. The dessert was also delicious, rich in honey and pistachios. The background music was very pleasant and just the right amount of tacky. Recommended!

24/12/2025: The food is very good despite being self-service. We stopped for lunch on a day of skiing; we chose it a bit randomly, but it was worth it. There are tables inside and many more outside. The only downside is that the coffee is not good, even with the professional machine.

21/12/2025: Nice place and good food. As for the rest, you should be ashamed: €5.50 for a bottle of water???? You really deserved for no one to come through the door anymore.

12/03/2026: So. This hotel is not rustic, it is in bad need of renovation. Cracked floors, walls, and beds that will make you think you are in a monastery... Uncomfortable does not describe it. It is clean, the staff is friendly and it is close to the slopes.

28/02/2026: The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it meets all the requirements for the price. The service is exemplary, English at the reception is no problem. The location is actually perfect considering the location next to the ski slope and the solution to problems is immediate and helpful. The kitchen is above average and perfect for the price. The hotel is located very close to the ski slope, including the cable car, so it is not dependent on the ski bus, etc.

27/02/2026: There were 7 of us without a reservation. We wanted to sit outside on the terrace for lunch. We were immediately welcomed and the waiter found a table for us. Even though it was all full, we ordered quickly. Daniel, our waiter, was top-notch. A guy with a level of professionalism and speed I've never seen before. In the end, we ate well, even though the bill was a little above our expectations. Daniel offered grappa. We'll be back in the summer with the whole family.

25/02/2026: ⛔Worst place ever - and the waiters talks bad⛔

30/01/2026: I'm writing this review still in disbelief at the treatment and quality of the food I received. If you're looking for a place to eat after a day on the slopes, move on: any other option will be better than this. The pizza dough was embarrassing: rubbery, clearly under-risen, and raw in the center, while the crust was burnt and bitter. The ingredients used were of the lowest quality; the tomato was overly acidic, and the mozzarella had no consistency whatsoever, a sign of the use of low-quality industrial products that have nothing to do with the flavors of the area. The service was the final straw. Arrogant staff, biblical wait times (over an hour for two pizzas with the place half empty), and a total disorganization in the dining room and kitchen. Despite our polite complaints about the cooking, the response was dismissive and lacking in professionalism. The prices were completely out of line and unjustified. Paying gourmet prices for a product that wouldn't even end up on the plate of an emergency shelter is unacceptable. A place that thrives solely on its touristic location, but it doesn't deserve a single cent of your money. ​Avoid it if you don't want to ruin your evening and your stomach.

24/12/2025: We had a wonderful 9-night stay at Hotel Tabladel. Both the owners and the staff were very friendly, everything was clean, our room was lovely, and the food was very varied, even for me as a vegetarian. The location is fantastic, just steps from the ski slopes. We also enjoyed an aperitif in front of the fireplace. We would love to come back.

06/12/2025: I ordered a pizza with salami and spinach. The amount of salami and spinach was really minimal: seven pieces of salami and very little spinach. It's unfair. The spinach costs 2 euros.

01/03/2026: Since the change of ownership, unfortunately, they're unfriendly... quick and lots of food and drink... then they leave quickly... then you're a welcome guest...

24/02/2026: I was skiing in Plose in February and ended up at the hut around lunchtime. It can get crowded at lunchtime. A lot of the building seems to have been renovated, and there's still some construction going on. Great view from the large window, if there's space. There's another room in the back, which was quieter. Depending on the weather, you can also sit outside (sheltered from the wind). The food was good, and so was the café d'orzo. The service was friendly and attentive.

02/12/2025: Unfortunately, the cafeteria has gotten worse compared to previous years. Now you can only pay using the dedicated app and with cash, a minimum of twenty euros. The so-called "quick" meal is a pittance, and I don't understand why they charge less even if you only order a first or second course using this formula compared to the so-called "full" meal. The pizza and sandwiches remain decent/good. The saddest thing is that even if you're a university student and the cafeteria is empty, you can't stay in the cafeteria for some reason (perhaps because only those actively consuming here and now are allowed to stay). It's quite ridiculous; because until proven otherwise, students aren't dangerous; especially if the cafeteria is empty.

24/07/2025: Disgraceful treatment from the cashier with dark glasses. We were eating in the cafeteria, and one of us had food we hadn't purchased there. The cashier, while enforcing the rules, was extremely rude and surly, even threatening to kick out the person who hadn't gotten food from the cafeteria. The person then left and found another seat, even though THE CANTEEN WAS EMPEROR at the time! How the hell do you dare, a cashier with dark glasses, kick someone out of a public place? In such an arrogant and condescending tone! Toward a poor student who may have to bring food from home to cover the expenses he has to pay here in Trento. Moreover, considering they are subsidized with our tax money, and furthermore, when you pay you can't enter the exact amount, so they pocket the difference between what you pay and what you consume. As usual, a disgrace!

07/03/2026: We just had a coffee in the square. Oh well, it's Piazza Walther, and coffee in Bolzano is expensive, you know... But a cappuccino that's not even particularly good for €4.00 seems excessive to me anyway...

28/02/2026: The food was excellent. The portions were generous enough to satisfy any appetite. The location was lovely and sunny. Prices were comparable to the neighboring restaurants. It was generally quite busy, but with patience and a relaxed attitude, it was a pleasant experience.

14/05/2025: I don't know if management has changed, but the staff is rude and surly. I asked for two glasses of white wine and after 15 minutes she brings me two half glasses of warm, cheap white wine. I go to pay and I had to ask for the receipt and she, annoyed, gives it to me but instead of 8 euros she gives me one for 4. I point this out to her and she gets angry, telling me that I'm not from the area and I don't know how it works... never again.
