22/02/2026: I can't judge the quality of the food because we didn't even sit down. After seeing the waiter/bartender picking his nose, we immediately ran away. He didn't even notice us when we walked in, without saying hello or anything. He continued chatting with another customer at the counter. It was 3 PM on a quiet Sunday, with only a couple of tables occupied and already served. It's a shame, because the atmosphere, the area, and the plateau's tourist tradition deserve a much higher rating.

31/12/2025: Squalid and dirty place. Grumpy and rude staff. We'd asked for toast and were invited to sit down without any problem. After just five minutes, a group of 10 young people arrived, and the waiter, after taking the order from these young people who had also ordered toast, came over to us and said, "We don't have any more toast." My wife, dumbfounded by the fact that we'd been passed over for no reason, received a "I can't do anything about it" from an unfriendly waiter. When we got to the person who had initially seated us, indicating that toast was available, he too shrugged, saying, "What do you want from me," as if we'd never spoken to him. Vile! You could clearly feel the annoyance of having us in the bar. Outside, there was another group complaining about the same rude treatment from the waiters. If you want to run a business, as in any profession, especially one open to the public, you must never lack patience and POLITE! We were truly disappointed, especially by the cold and heartless way in which we were treated by three small children waiting for their toast. One word: SHAME!

12/02/2026: I ordered a kebab and potato menu and ended up with a tiny can with 30 grams of potatoes..... total 7.5 of the menu and just the sandwich, that's 4.5 euros.... that is, for a measly handful of potatoes, then 2 euros.......... never again at Cavalleggeri. Not very smart of me for not having been recommended it and calling anyway.......

01/01/2026: Long wait at the deli, which is a shame because the food is delicious. Unfortunately, they don't take orders at 4 PM even though they're open. Excellent pizza and kebab.

30/07/2025: The restaurant is reminiscent of a cafeteria, but that doesn't detract from the experience: delicious food at a reasonable price, and friendly and attentive staff! It's worth a visit!

25/02/2026: The coffee is decent, but the owner ruins it. We went in for takeout and sat down outside for a minute at a table to wait for our friend. At that moment, the owner of the establishment ran out and started yelling at us, saying that if we'd sat outside, we should have told her so, and then she would have charged us servizio e coperto (service fee). THIS IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE! We'll never go there again! By the way, there's no food at all. Just coffee, bread, and croissants.

07/02/2026: Lovely place for a light lunch. My "local" sandwich was delicious, but you can have soup and salads as well. And the sweets and cakes looked amazing. Highly recommended!

06/12/2025: Terrible experience... first of all, I go in to buy a 10-pack of cigarettes and he won't let me pay with my debit card. Plus, I pay for the craft malboros in cash at 5.70 a pack, when they cost 5.50 a pack. I ask for information and he explains that the prices have gone up, but then I check and it's not true. Right after me, a woman asks if her cigarettes have gone up too, and he says no.

29/09/2025: My girlfriend and I unfortunately only stayed one night in your cozy Ortlerblick suite on our return trip from Milan. We were overwhelmed by the beautiful 180-degree view of the Alps from our balcony and our accommodation. Our suite was very modern and absolutely clean. The Illmer family owns a very well-maintained, comfortable, and tastefully furnished property, which they make available to their guests along with friendly and courteous staff. Not only the very friendly hotelier, but also the service team took great care of our well-being. The 5-course dinner menu was exceptionally varied, a feast for the eyes, and very digestible. For a vegetarian like me, there was a huge selection of delicacies. The service came to our table regularly and discreetly to provide us with the best culinary delights. The selection of drinks, both at dinner and breakfast, left nothing to be desired. The breakfast offerings were very extensive. There were a variety of fresh juices, fruit, rolls, bread, cheeses, etc. We are very sorry we only booked for one night. Next time, we will definitely stay longer to have more time for the luxurious wellness area. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her massage in the afternoon. The masseuse was very competent and pleasantly warm. We wish the Illmer family all the best and thank you for the enchanting stay. Mrs. Wessel & Mrs. Wolf

22/01/2026: A very charming place located in the center of Trento with a classic style. We had an aperitif served with appetizers. The appetizers are well-made and the prices (€6) are truly excellent for a central location. I highly recommend going there.

07/12/2025: Aperitif with a view in the city center! Great attention to detail in the cocktails, with a variety of non-traditional options on the menu, and a focus on fruit. A more than decent selection of accompanying miniatures. A relaxing moment with a view of the Duomo, not to be missed.

25/02/2026: Standard bar food. Service okay. Nice atmosphere...but the cat that sits on the tables and in the boxes and leaves hair everywhere is even less so...

21/01/2026: A well-located bar and restaurant near the San Leonardo lakes, it's a great place to stop after a hike for breakfast, an aperitif, or lunch. They also offer a good selection of grappas.

19/01/2026: The food was plentiful and very good, the service was a bit difficult due to language barriers, and the place was very crowded.

18/03/2026: I hope it was just a bad day... I chose the restaurant based on the menu options I'd read on the website, but once I sat down, I was told three times that the dish wasn't available. In the end, disheartened, I had to settle for the usual Milanese cutlet. There was something "good" there, but it wasn't on the menu. The website is inviting, but it's a shame it's only in the photos, but I can say I'm still craving it.

12/03/2026: I ordered a tagliata, but I received a grilled steak, sliced, and then placed each piece back on the grill, cooking on both sides! Please change the name of the dish on the menu or explain to the chef that cooking the meat only once preserves the quality of the product, not to mention saving energy! I gave it two stars for the generous portion and the good beer.

14/09/2025: REVIEW FOR THE RESTAURANT ONLY SCANDALOUS!!!! THE MANAGEMENT IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE!! HORRIBLE FOOD!! BURNED MEAT, CHILDREN'S CUTLETS GRASSY AND BURNT, HORRIBLE SERVICE, RUSTY AND VERY INACCURATE, WITH DELAYS!! PAPPARDELLE WITH MUSHROOMS, USED WITH CANNED MUSHROOMS (SEEN WITH OUR OWN EYES), WE PAID A BUNCH (11 PEOPLE, 340 EUROS) A SHAME!!! ASK, IT'S BETTER!!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

31/08/2025: It was a wonderful stay; we stayed 6 nights and had a pleasant and relaxing holiday. Our room was very nice and spacious. It was impeccably clean. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, with a wide selection, especially sweet treats. The property is in a beautiful location and offers a splendid view. The homemade apple juice was delicious; we even purchased some to take home. Kudos to the staff, who were always friendly and polite. If we have the chance, we'll definitely be back!

23/04/2025: For anyone who heard the banging from the kitchen, it's upstairs, connected by a latch and is managed by two people. There's only one wine and dessert fridge. Who knows where it went?

12/02/2025: A stay in Riva always includes a visit to the Pizzeria La Leonessa for us. The pizzas are very good. Excellent value for money.

27/08/2025: We ate wonderfully: tagliatelle with venison ragù, tagliatelle with fir pesto, and out-of-this-world porcini dumplings! Compliments to the chef and the service. Highly recommended!
