I was with a group from Poland for New Year's Eve. We had a wonderful time, the food was delicious, the rooms were modest but comfortable, some had balconies. The views were of the mountains, which were illuminated by the rising sun in the morning. The service was great. I recommend it.

New Year's Eve spent at the Elefant Hotel was fantastic. Friendly service and amazing food, at least for New Year's Eve. Totally amazing. The town is quiet but well-organized. They issue free transportation passes for everywhere on buses, coaches, and trains. I recommend this place.

06/03/2026: Friendly service, beautiful views, and outdoor benches and loungers. Self-service. It's a shame there's no Italian pizza on the menu. We really enjoyed the lasagna.

08/06/2026: The portion sizes here are almost insane! :) With pasta, you get a whole package of asparagus. Price/performance ratio is okay. That's the main reason for 4 stars. With the pork knuckle and fries, I would have liked a proper sauce. Just ketchup, mayo, and mustard was a bit dry. (Tip: maybe order it separately.)
26/05/2026: If you're okay with plastic chairs, this is the place for you... Good value for money...
