The service was exceptionally attentive, going above and beyond, from offering complimentary wine tastings to bringing an extra bread basket free of charge. The bread was sensational, the food regional and delicious, and the ambiance, a restored farmhouse, is beautiful. We were very satisfied and would gladly return.

30/10/2025: Restaurant review: We stopped at the Adler on our way from Merano to Appiano. We hadn't made a reservation, but that wasn't a problem. Lovely dining room, very good and friendly service. The food was excellent. The Linzer torte for dessert was divine.

08/09/2025: Very welcoming place, friendly and fast staff. Yesterday, upon returning from the Rifugio Larcher, we were warmly welcomed. The dishes are exquisite, and the prices are reasonable for the quality, but, in my opinion, never excessive. Overall, a lovely stop for a break.

03/12/2025: Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review for the lack of customer service. Since November 1st, I've called three times to make a reservation for early January and was told to call back in early December because they didn't yet have the New Year's agenda. Today, December 3rd, I called back promptly and was told that the January 3rd dinner was already fully booked, with the only alternative being lunch. I was truly surprised: is this how you treat a customer who calls four times, organizes well in advance, and clearly shows they want to come? Furthermore, being told, "I don't know who you spoke to" was unprofessional. It would have been enough to take my contact information, propose a waiting list, or simply manage reservations via email, as many other establishments do, to avoid this situation. We've been coming to this valley for years, and something like this has never happened to us. It's a shame, because there were more courteous and efficient ways to handle all this.

01/10/2025: I've eaten here dozens of times now, and the food is always a wonderful surprise. The menus are always carefully curated and seasonal, never boring, and the entrees are always wonderful and inspiring. All the ingredients are of the highest quality and are prepared with great respect. In all the times I've been, I think I've only found something less than perfect once: a first course, macaroni with osso buco ragù, saffron, and lemon jelly, if I remember correctly. It had a touch too much lemon, but despite this, it remains one of my favorite dishes, and Bortoleto remains my absolute favorite restaurant. A small note on the service, which is always perfect: friendly and courteous, never intrusive. The dishes are always well explained, and there's just the right balance of formality and familiarity, making it a truly pleasant experience.

25/11/2025: Truly excellent! On a busy day, with the Christmas markets just opening, we had excellent food and excellent service! The place isn't very big, but it's definitely worth it!

08/11/2025: A wonderful place both inside and out. The interior is beautifully appointed and welcoming, perfect for a romantic dinner or a meal with friends. The professionalism, kindness, and friendliness of everyone, from the owner to the staff, is unsurpassed! The wine selection was accompanied by a thoughtful presentation explaining the origin and cellar, plus a small tasting to help us choose. In addition to the à la carte menu, there's a seasonal 4-course tasting menu with the option of pairing it with a glass of wine. The food is AMAZING: lakeside cicchetti, impeccable from the raw ingredients to the deliciousness of the final dish. Risotto with pears, lard, and Alpine grey cheese was truly creamy and cooked to perfection. The braised beef was incredibly tender and perfectly paired with its cooking juices, crispy broccoli, and mashed potatoes. A truly incredible dinner that turned out to be a true treat! I recommend it to everyone and will definitely be back.
