11/02/2026: The place is very nice, with attention to detail and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Unfortunately, however, the restaurant's food doesn't live up to expectations and doesn't reflect the overall quality of the property. The dishes look very inviting, but when tasted, they're truly disappointing, and the flavor combinations are highly questionable. Highly discouraged!

23/12/2025: What a beautiful hotel! First, let's talk about the location in Weißenbach. The hotel is situated more or less right at the entrance to the village and is surrounded by beautiful, high mountains. From there, you can embark on some wonderful and challenging hikes, for example, to the Oberer Moosboden or the Chemnitzer Hütte. The rooms are beautifully designed, very clean, and always stocked with fresh (free) water. At breakfast, you're very kindly asked for anything you need and can indulge in the abundant selection at the buffet. Dinner is prepared with so much care and is always plentiful. You can usually choose from one or two appetizers and desserts, and the main courses are generally served in three portions. The staff are so friendly and attentive, and the owner is very dedicated and approachable. All in all, you simply feel comfortable here as a guest and would love to return. Thank you to the team for a wonderful vacation!

18/12/2025: We spent three wonderful days at the Berghotel Alpenfrieden in Rio Bianco and couldn't have asked for more. It was a perfect vacation in every way. Andreas's welcome was truly exceptional: he made us feel welcome right away with his professionalism and warmth. The entire team was incredible: kind, attentive to our every need, and always smiling. The hotel is ideally located for those seeking true relaxation. Rio Bianco is an authentic village where a unique peace reigns and there are very few people, making it a true paradise for unwinding. We loved the annex: the pool and sauna are wonderful, and our little girl had a blast, making her stay special too. The cuisine is excellent, with carefully prepared and tasty dishes, and the cleanliness is unbeatable throughout the property. All this at an excellent value. In short: an experience with top marks. Heartfelt thanks to Andreas and all the staff; we'll definitely be back!

18/03/2026: Unfortunately, there was nothing going on when we stopped by. Because the pizza and the host are fantastic. Everyone should try the Pizza Burratina!

28/02/2026: I spent a wonderful week at this hotel in February 2026 as a base for skiing in the Val Gardena resorts. Access was easy, and the favorable rental price made up for the longer journey. It's also a pleasure to drive along the winding mountain roads, which aren't very common here. The very friendly, communicative, and helpful owners are also a great encouragement.

31/01/2026: Perfect. Beautiful view of Brixen. Friendly hosts. Decent breakfast.

03/03/2026: Nice place, but we didn't manage to eat anything because we arrived at the busiest time when the bar is closed and the restaurant isn't open yet. But the worst thing was the owner's gruff and unfriendly attitude.

02/03/2026: Very good food at reasonable prices in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, it's self-service, and I was unlucky enough to have to wait in line forever. The kitchen staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, and the woman at the buffet/food counter spent almost 20 minutes yelling (at the kitchen staff, but also at guests). Things were a bit friendlier at the bar.

08/12/2025: We found it by chance, as all the restaurants in the center of Castelrotto were closed. It was around 1:30 PM, and when we called, they told us the kitchen was open until around 2 PM. As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us kindly, which wasn't exactly expected given the hour. We ate very well, both the dumplings in broth and the excellent venison goulash. The restaurant is five minutes from the center (you need to take the car), but definitely recommended for a quiet stay and good food.

09/11/2025: It's been a regular stop for seven years now. Every year I go up to Andalo (TN) to spend a few relaxing days. Baita Marnara, however, is located in Maso Milano. We always go down and eat their traditional trout, cooked whole in a copper pan, making it incredibly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Having a pond with trout in it, they always have the freshest produce. This fish is also featured in other dishes, which further enhance its appeal. Everything on the menu is also very good. The manager and staff are always very kind and helpful. I highly recommend it.

20/10/2025: The copper-pan-cooked trout is highly recommended: you won't find it like this anywhere else! There are many side dishes to choose from, and, if you prefer, very good appetizers too. The service is always warm and friendly. The bill is very fair.

20/03/2026: Unfortunately closed...nothing on the door. According to the sign, food is served from...to...8

11/10/2025: The place was open in broad daylight, they let us in and then told us the kitchen was closed, that they'd decided to just close. 3 PM... closing time indicated 9 PM October 8th, closed indicated October 31st! No comments

22/11/2025: We ate very well, the food was delicious, the Florentine steak and the semolina gnocchi with ragù were delicious, the chestnut tiramisu was fabulous.

05/11/2025: A hotel housed in an industrial building that has been well preserved and renovated. Quiet and clean, with a decent breakfast and excellent value. Plus, the vintage garage.

11/01/2026: The cuisine is excellent, with a wide and well-thought-out selection: carefully prepared dishes, well-tarnished flavors, and evident quality. The atmosphere is also truly beautiful and authentic, all in wood, warm and welcoming, with the staff dressed in Tyrolean costumes, a detail that contributes to an authentic and enjoyable experience. The portions are just right, precise down to the millimeter: not a single ravioli too many, not one too few. For some, this may be a plus, for others, perhaps a bit forced, but nevertheless consistent. The only real downside, and a rather annoying one, concerns the reservation: a preauthorization of 30 euros per person is required, but this is not deducted from the dinner bill. We were told the amount would be refunded at midnight, but as of 9:00 the following morning, the money was still frozen. It's very unpleasant to find yourself with frozen funds that aren't even used for the final payment, especially without a clear refund deadline. Parking isn't included; we paid €4 for an hour's dinner. Overall, the restaurant is worth it for its food and atmosphere, but this pre-authorization management unnecessarily ruins what would otherwise have been a truly positive experience.

03/01/2026: Excellent restaurant in Alta Badia!! Location with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent menu. I recommend the venison carpaccio and pork chops with fries. Excellent wine list and very professional sommelier.
