The grilled trout is phenomenal. The atmosphere is superb, especially on hot, muggy days. It's also very close to a fantastic climbing crag.

Very cute and charming place. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Dogs are welcome. (Very important to me.) Very good food and fairly large portions. P.S. I recommend everyone to book, just to be safe. It costs nothing and avoids unnecessary hassle.

09/06/2026: A lovely mountain hut for a break. Friendly service and excellent food (cheese dumplings, schnitzel, shepherd's pasta, strawberry tiramisu, and apple strudel). We'll gladly come back. Prices are fair.
19/05/2026: The lodge is a welcoming place to linger, both indoors and out. It boasts a lovely atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food, all served in a stylish manner.

03/05/2026: We didn’t use Accomodation but did hike up for the view and had lunch. It was very busy. The staff were friendly, the food we had was good. We were given a shot each of their own home made berry liquor which was lovely. The hike all the way up was on a road, that only gives access to the staff. We are holiday hikers so not very fit. The ascent was slow and steady. I am a slow walker took us 4 hours there and back. 13.11km and 612m ascent. The views at the top are worth the effort.
02/05/2026: We had lunch here with the amazing view of the Dolomites in front of us..the barley soup was sensational
