18/08/2025: A truly wonderful experience. Unfortunately, our experience was limited to lunch, which was divine. A true surprise in every sense. The stunning location, overlooking the Rotaliana plain in the Faedo area, offers the wonderful tranquility and relaxation needed to "detox" from the hustle and bustle of daily life. This feeling is noticeable as soon as you arrive at the farm, and you're greeted with a delightful welcome, making you feel at ease in a friendly manner; you immediately feel enveloped in a family atmosphere. All the dishes are excellent, it's hard to say what to recommend; everything is truly delicious. We'll definitely be back.

17/08/2025: Superb accommodation! The half-board dinner is fantastic! The wine cellar is well-stocked. Sometimes a bottle of wine in the restaurant costs barely more than at the winery – fantastic!

09/08/2025: We just spent a week at this hotel and had a wonderful time. The welcome was wonderful, the room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and very spacious. The food and wine list were excellent. All the staff were helpful and friendly, and eager to accommodate our needs. Highly recommended! Thank you for your stay.

26/08/2025: A couple's lunch in a wonderful outdoor setting surrounded by greenery. The restaurant is run by a young and talented man who offers a cuisine unlike any other, yet with great respect for local produce and ingredients. The Alpine sushi dish deserves an A+. One of the best dishes I've ever tasted, balanced, well-researched, and beautifully executed. A dish that delights and entertains. We then tried the picanha, excellent, cooked to perfection, and the tiramisu, which is served with a brush so you can write a memory of the moment on the plate. Nice selection of cocktails and wines. If you're in the area, don't miss it!

22/08/2025: A pleasantly surprising experience!! We went there one evening by chance, having a first course and a second course... I have to say this place offers a true expression of taste; with every bite you can taste the flavor and quality of every single ingredient. We were so satisfied with the dinner that we went back to try the pizza... what can I say... It's not pizza... It's much, much more... Forget the pizza you're used to, this is truly on another level!!!! The staff is exceptional, attentive, and kind. The owner and the father are both truly kind and helpful. Anyone who finds themselves near Caldonazzo should definitely go there!!!!

04/06/2025: During a vacation in Madonna di Campiglio I discovered this shop by chance… and it has become a must-see! Typical Trentino products of the highest quality, incredible cheeses, fragrant cured meats and a warm welcome. As a lover of good food, it is impossible not to leave with a supply. Highly recommended!

07/08/2025: We stayed at Schgaguler expecting high-end value for the €450+/night rate. While the aesthetics and warm service (especially from Simon and Peter) impressed, the functionality and overall sense of value fell short. The positives: beautifully clean rooms with thoughtful touches like bath salts and fresh tea, stunning views, a well-equipped gym, and a pleasant breakfast with a small buffet and made-to-order options. Afternoon tea cakes were a welcome touch. However, the wellness area disappointed. The “ice room” which I looked forward to never worked, and the wider space lacks basic functional elements — no clear labels on buttons, no posted sauna temperatures, and no visible cold drinking water (though there was hot tea). We were also surprised that spa elements like the “mud room” and hiking excursions cost extra, especially given their presentation on the website and our prior experiences at similarly priced hotels in the region where such offerings were included. Room design leans heavily on form over function: no shower door leads to water spreading into the living area, the space steams up quickly, and ventilation is poor. The designer sink splashes due to its awkward geometry — the long faucet pours directly onto a flat convex drain, making it messy to use. Breakfast felt unnecessarily restricted — simple items like cheese or cold cuts must be ordered à la carte, served on oversized plates at small tables, slowing the experience. We were even told by our waitress to “order a little bit at a time” as if to suggest we should slow down - which we felt was disrespectful of our morning schedule. Schgaguler has real potential. A shift toward functional luxury would elevate the experience: include the “melarium” in the base wellness offering (as your website implies), expand the buffet rather than leaning so heavily on à la carte, and ensure the ice room — and basic spa clarity — are fully operational.

21/07/2025: A stunningly beautiful and architecturally unique hotel!!! 🤩 Since we had previously stayed at another (also very high-quality) hotel in Siusi for years, we initially had some doubts, but these were quickly dispelled, and after our third stay, we can summarize by saying that we feel completely at home here. The location (directly from the hotel on foot to the Alpe di Siusi), the rooms (totally modern and stylish), the service (competent, attentive, prompt), and the excellent food (a la carte breakfast, cake buffet in the afternoon, and a first-class 5-course dinner) simply leave nothing to be desired. 😍 We would especially like to thank Simon at the reception, who always listens to us and is always there to help and advise us – and of course, Sandra, too; she is a top-notch sommelier and otherwise a helpful and unique person. 🙏🤗❤️ Thank goodness we've now found the right hotel for us and have already booked again for September 😅🤩 Thanks and see you soon, Alex and Elke 🤗

25/08/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing experience at Baita Garba At the end of August, I returned for lunch at Baita Garba, where I used to go as a child with my family. Unfortunately, the good memories weren't enough: the experience was disappointing in several ways. We hadn't booked (there were two of us), and despite there being free tables outside (probably reserved for those who booked or already reserved), we were seated in the indoor dining room. Some deficiencies were immediately apparent: of the three occupied tables, only one had bread (and it wasn't ours), no salt and pepper, just a tablecloth and glasses with napkins inserted. They came to take our orders and told us there was a wait for the food, but they didn't specify how long it would be. We ordered drinks, which arrived shortly afterward: a grilled trout and a "Baita Garba" dish. After about half an hour, my dish arrived. At first glance, it looked well-prepared, but it was incomplete: the trout was missing. When I asked, the waiter replied that it would be served separately, but in the meantime, my other order hadn't arrived. Honestly, if I'd realized the dish included a whole trout, I would have chosen something else. The meat alone was sufficient; with the trout, it was too much, more like a plate for two than for one. I started eating, but stopped shortly afterward to wait for my companions' plates to arrive, so we could eat together. My dish got cold. After about 15 minutes, the grilled trout arrived, but the skin was black and burned, and when I filleted it, pieces of fish remained attached. Just as I was almost finished with my dish, the trout arrived, whole. So I found myself eating it alone, without any side dishes, because I had already finished the potato and vegetable dish. From the photos online, which I looked at later, you can see the complete dish with the meat and the trout. In conclusion: we ate, but not well. The service was poorly managed: orders should be brought to the table together, so that diners can eat at the same time and not in multiple sessions, and perhaps pay more attention to the service. Too bad: I wanted to relive the good memories and make a good impression, but it wasn't to be. I don't think I'll ever go back.

17/08/2025: We've been to this cabin several times, always ordering different dishes... A truly wonderful discovery. The food is delicious and the staff is always super friendly... A very unique and evocative location... Worth a try.

26/07/2025: Visited on the evening of July 18th. La Vecchia Canonica is located in the town center, in a small square. If there's an event going on—they're quite frequent in the summer—you'll have to park further away because, as happened to us, there's no space. The place is pleasant, recently renovated, carefully lit, and well-furnished. There were four of us, and we dined on the outdoor terrace, which I highly recommend, both for the mountain view and the cool air: there's no air conditioning inside (which it should be, as we're only 700 meters above sea level, and it's decidedly too hot in the summer). The waitresses were very kind and helpful. We ordered four pizzas, two of which were gluten-free, all good, rich, and well-cooked. Specifically, two Vecchia Canonica and two Nostrana, which completely satisfied us. The portion of fries was also good. The gelato was good, the strudel was average, not memorable, and the chocolate cake was quite good. We enjoyed the place and recommend it. I'll definitely be back to try the first and second courses. In my opinion, it has two flaws: 1) the most serious is undoubtedly the excessively slow service (about 40 minutes, for the record, and years ago, a dinner with friends on the evening of August 15th went much, much worse); 2) rather high prices: the four of us spent €82.50, which is not a small amount, but I particularly note that the €3 supplement for the gluten-free pizza is excessive, the 10% cover charge is decidedly excessive (and, incidentally, I'd never seen it anywhere else), and finally, €6-7 for dessert is a lot. In summary: a nice place where you can enjoy spending time and eating well, but it's rather expensive and the service could use some work.

05/09/2025: Arriving after 30km of cycling, we opted for an alternative menu. A perfect choice: truly delicious food, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff—three wonderful ingredients that aren't always easy to find these days. I recommend this experience to everyone.

26/06/2025: Everything was perfect, from the location, to the welcome and friendliness of the waiters, up to the truly exquisite and beautifully presented food. We celebrated our anniversary here and we couldn't have made a better choice. They accept dogs, but only in the part of the room where the bar is, which is still very beautiful and well-kept.
