21/06/2025: We went to the Borgo Nuovo restaurant on Friday night for a dinner for two. Very friendly and helpful staff. The owner was very kind, he insisted on making us redo a risotto that was slightly lacking in salt, a much appreciated gesture that certainly earned the restaurant points. Very good food and wine. Highly recommended!

From the chef who knows how to represent the dishes with great elegance to the dining room manager who with her smile knows how to give information and advice on the menu in a polite and competent manner. Raw materials of excellent quality, impeccable service, very neat and clean location. A place of the heart ❤️

17/05/2025: Under new management, the San Colombano restaurant in Rovereto has introduced Indian cuisine, and I can say without exaggeration that it is the best I have ever tasted! Authentic dishes, intense and perfectly balanced flavors, all in a welcoming and well-kept environment. A perfect mix of tradition and innovation: I will definitely be back!

27/06/2025: Beautiful location with a great outdoor terrace. The food selection is comparable to that of the surrounding restaurants. The dishes are sometimes not very large—at least ours were. They were adequate, though. We would come again just for the view from the terrace. However, this review only reflects our subjective experience.

23/06/2025: Very elegant restaurant both in terms of cuisine and interior. There is a tasting menu that includes appetizer, first course, second course, pre-dessert and dessert and each course can be accompanied by a glass of associated wine. The food is very good, the waiting times are short and the staff is very friendly. It is a high-level restaurant, so the prices are not cheap either. In fact, for the tasting menu you spend €100 per person, this is in the case in which you associate a different glass with each course, otherwise I think it can get to around €60/70. However, it is an expense that is completely worth it, given the quality of the menu and the place. Highly recommended!

30/04/2025: Ho soggiornato una notte in suite . Spettacolare. Nulla da dire. Personale gentile e disponibile e pulizia impeccabile. La grande delusione sono state la cena (avevamo la mezza pensione) e la colazione. Buffet verdure imbarazzante . Pomodoro mozzarella come antipasto e valdostana con patatine ( che poi era una fettina impanata con una fetta formaggio fuso sopra) come piatto principale, in un ristorante che ha un menu alla carte di tutto rispetto è inconcepibile. Ritengo che in sede di prenotazione sarebbe opportuno chiarire in cosa "consiste" la mezza pensione .Credo sia il rifugio dove ho mangiato peggio in assoluto.

15/06/2025: I discovered a pearl, a beautiful restaurant where I had a great time. The food is excellent and the products are good and reasonably priced. The cold cuts appetizer is very good but the first courses are even better, too bad we couldn't order the second course because we were full. Recommended, I can't wait to go back!

15/06/2025: Great dinner experience last night: 1 appetizer cold cuts and cheeses, 2 first courses (lasagna asparagus and venison ravioli with walnut sauce), 1 second course (pork cheek), 2 glasses of red for a total of €85. Really good dishes and the right quantity, compliments to the 2 restaurateurs and especially to the cook!

20/06/2025: Really recommend 👌 Pizza and pasta were delicious. On the way back we stopped again, and the 6h cooked octopus was out of this world!!!! 👏 👏 👏

12/06/2025: Acceptable quality/price ratio, lately the prices have risen considerably. Familiar and discreet atmosphere, very refined in its simplicity, full of history. The variety is not very wide being a typical Trentino trattoria. But everything is excellent, from the giardiniera to the carne salada, perhaps the best I have ever tasted, tender and tasty, you can cut it with a fork!! The apple and amaretti cake, the strudel, the wine and the coffee are good!!!

23/05/2025: Excellent carne salada made by them accompanied by already seasoned borlotti beans. Also good the canederli... Highly recommended!!!

02/07/2025: A top-level restaurant both for the cuisine and for the preparation and kindness of the waiters. The open kitchen is just another strong point of the restaurant, seeing the preparation of your dishes is always a little show. A pleasure to return for dinner on special occasions.

24/06/2025: We ate there almost every day – it was that good! Unfortunately, the restaurant itself was closed for vacation, otherwise we would have continued coming every day. The location is fantastic – beautifully situated beneath the arcades. The menu is small, but very high-quality and varied. We were particularly impressed by the pork loin with herb risotto – cooked to perfection every time, super tender and juicy. A real treat! A huge compliment to one of the waiters – simply brilliant! Not only was he super friendly, but he recognized us immediately and remembered exactly what we had eaten and drunk the last time. Friendly, attentive, and warm – you feel completely at ease. The ladies in the waiting room were also very nice and accommodating. To finish, be sure to try the tiramisu or the mousse – both incredibly delicious!

24/06/2025: The nicest restaurant and dining experience we had in Torbole, my fiancé said it was the nicest meal she ever had. Fantastic service and gorgeous food. The staff were very good and knew their stuff.

06/06/2025: Updated in response to reply: If all this is the case, it would have been appropriate to communicate this to the customer. If it is such fine dining why did no one come check on us at all throughout our dining or come to refill our when glasses? You can tell from their reply that there is a defensive attitude. I’ve been to many fine dining gourmet places with far better service and food. Original review below: Before ordering the 39 euro zucchini florets I asked the waiter: “Is this big enough as a main course,” specifying I was looking for something filling for dinner. He ensured me it was. When it came (see photo) I was shocked to find just three small florets, hardly a dinner. When I complained to the manager he said, “Perhaps I didn’t understand you before my English is not good.” Meanwhile, when I had questions about the wine we ordered I found his English vocabulary to be the best I’ve encountered on my entire trip across Italy. Rather than offering me another dish as a courtesy I was encouraged to order another. And to top it off he said “Perhaps you didn’t understand this place is gourmet.”

24/06/2025: Just finished dinner. The pizza dough was fantastic, the ingredients excellent and well worked. Pizza remained hot until the last bite and beer cold until the last sip. Recommended to anyone who is in Merano.
