04/03/2026: A welcoming place, not too large or crowded, where you can easily connect with your fellow diners. The owner is welcoming and playfully guides you through the menu. Superb seafood and truly large portions. Prices are very reasonable, below average. Excellent wine selection. I definitely recommend.

28/11/2025: Located in the center of San Giorgio a Colonica, there's ample free parking near the restaurant, but parking is often difficult.
The food is traditional Tuscan, but presented in an elegant and refined way. The flavors are excellent and the ingredients are top-notch.
I returned to this restaurant after many years. It used to have a delicious dessert buffet, but now they offer small pastries, very good, at one euro a piece (I preferred the old formula).
The staff is very friendly and quick with their service.
17/11/2025: I wanted to try the fried tripe, and it was truly spectacular.
But for an appetizer, they brought us a terrine of chicken livers coated in chocolate and topped with pear and rum jelly (if I'm not mistaken). It was fabulous!
For dessert, there were some miniatures. You can choose whatever you want and in whatever quantity you want, a really interesting option.

The interiors are charming, with wooden beam ceilings and terracotta details.
Divided into individual rooms, they offer the opportunity to celebrate while ensuring exclusivity and privacy for guests.
A truly authentic choice, even just for a lunch...at zero miles (if you're staying in Prato 😄)

The dishes are exquisite (I recommend the tongue and the meatballs with fried artichokes), and the wine list is extensive and of excellent quality. It's a small place with a maximum capacity of 25 people, so I recommend booking in advance. Don't miss it!

17/11/2025: First of all, the menu you can choose is chefs choice so you don't really know what you are going to eat. There were 8 dishes, from which some were absolutely fantastic (my favourite was pasta with nervetti) but some were a complete miss (cauliflower with liquorice).. the staff was very young and was at a time lacked confidence and experience.

03/02/2026: Paiella-themed evening..... VERY GOOD. I've known the owners for almost 30 years. Professional, highly trained, and incredibly friendly. Laughter isn't on the menu because it's served for free 🤣 . Jokes aside, the cuisine is excellent, high-quality, and always made with seasonal products. Also, the themed evenings (paiella, artichokes, and more) with a fixed price (also a good price for the quantity served) are worth a visit. Go there, you'll be pleasantly satisfied 😁. Plus, in the summer, the outside area gives you that breath of fresh air we so desperately seek on muggy evenings.
28/01/2026: A well-kept venue, excellent for an al fresco dinner in a place (Galceti) that symbolizes summer freshness.
I definitely recommend it, it won't disappoint.

19/12/2025: Authentic Tuscan cuisine at its most beautiful. Flavors and aromas are the strong points. The Papero ragù on the paccheri pasta is excellent. The vegetables are perfectly cooked. The wine list is good, varied, and well-preserved.
07/12/2025: Nice place, but a classic tourist trap: tiny, tasteless chocolate, bland cappuccino, and completely melted cream. I've had better drinks from vending machines.
