I don't know if it's mandatory for places to have a menu but I'd still like to be able to see how much I'm spending because otherwise I might think I'm being "ripped off"!!

03/08/2025: A wonderful place. The restaurant is beautiful, historic, and meticulously maintained, with a large, bright, and welcoming dining room at the back. The staff is attentive and friendly; they're all very friendly and ready to recommend dishes and accommodate the customer's needs. We were served by Elena and Giulia, who enjoyed the prank of our prankster at the table (we were a group of eight, passing through) and even told us the history of the place! :-) The value for money is superb; the dishes are reasonably priced and the portions are generous, without sacrificing the quality and sophistication of the food, all truly delicious Tuscan specialties!! We spent a couple of hours in joy and lightheartedness, eating truly well! The manager was very helpful and kind enough to even give us a €2 discount per person, making us pay €32 instead of €34. I truly appreciated the gesture, because while there were a lot of us, these gestures are rare these days. €2 per person is a lot for a business, so thank you so much. The house wine is highly recommended. As for the food, I absolutely recommend the cold cuts platter we shared, accompanied by olives, onions, artichokes, and bruschetta with lard, cherry tomatoes, or chicken liver pâté (the latter was perfect!). I also recommend the cheese platter. The pecorino "aggrappato" is a real treat, but you should also try the pecorino zafferano e pepe, which is very special, and the pecorino al tartufo, a more classic but always popular. The ragù, which I had as a first course, was delicious, as was the chicken cooked in beer, which I tried with a friend at the table. The chicken was out of this world and very plentiful! Hats off to the desserts, too. I was full, but despite that, I wanted to try the zuppa inglese, and I really enjoyed it! Long live places like these, where the people are friendly, helpful, and do their job with passion and dedication, always giving the customer the best. 26/07/2025: Unfortunately, I have to give the food two stars, even though I think it would have been good if I'd ordered something else. The place is nice, the owner and staff are helpful and welcoming. However, you can't serve a plate of bubblegum-style pasta (personally, I didn't even like the ragù, but that's a matter of taste). Almost all restaurants use pre-cooked pasta, but believe me, this was inedible. A word of advice: if you go there, don't order the pasta with ragù. Try something else.

07/04/2025: Family atmosphere and organization, excellent, simple and genuine food with the possibility of even having a chat with the owner who never holds back in this sense, had a lovely Sunday.

08/03/2025: Ambiente informale e familiare, piatti ottimi e prezzi onesti. Avevamo concordato un menú a 28 euro tutto compreso: Sauté di mare caldo, linguine alle vongole, frittura di mare con patate e carciofi fritti, tutto ottimo.

13/08/2025: I went there for a birthday, set menu. The appetizer was good but "poor" in the sense that there were a few slices of cold cuts, some bruschetta, and small potato cakes. Everything was good, but a bit lackluster. The two first courses were average. The waiters were kind, but we had only asked for one thing for a small child, overcooked pasta. It was fine to eat already chewed, and it arrived after a while, more than al dente... There was still some soul in the pasta. The outdoor setting was very nice and well-kept.

12/07/2025: A wonderful experience. We celebrated my daughter's graduation with a delicious dinner. All the people who looked after us during the evening were very kind and talented. The environment is truly beautiful, clean and well-kept, surrounded by greenery. Thanks to Giovanni for his kindness and availability. I highly recommend it. Francesca Troccoli

24/07/2025: Excellent pizza restaurant, good service, serves very particular dishes (such as charcoal pizza) in addition to the traditional ones, good fish starter and good wine, has a very pleasant small outdoor terrace and a nice and particular interior, a place suitable for everyone. 11/07/2025: The perfect setting when you're looking for some relief from the summer heat, with a lovely terrace overlooking the valley. The interior is very charming and well-appointed. The menu offers a limited number of dishes, but all are unique, carefully presented, and delicious. And above all, they're reasonably priced. A nice wine list with unique and unusual labels. The desserts are also very good. A special mention for the fried flowers we ordered as a pre-starter before ordering the rest is that they were delivered within minutes: they were incredibly light and not at all greasy. You could have eaten a whole load of them. Then we had celery meatballs and tartare, and for the second course, fried Dell'Aia, Chianti tuna, duck gnocchi, and wild boar macaroni. To finish, baked pears with mascarpone and torta della nonna. Coffee, grappa, and vermouth, and two bottles of wine, the first of which was a truly remarkable Verdicchio Riserva, paired with everything. Cost: €50. Excellent value.

31/07/2025: A pleasant evening with friends. The place is cute and very spacious. The food was truly tasty and beautifully presented. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Even the bill was a pleasant surprise.

10/08/2025: Beautiful location, but the staff seemed disinterested and unsmiling, which diminished the experience. The food arrived very quickly, portions were small for the price, and the truffle pasta was a bit disappointing. A real shame, because the place has a lot of potential.

21/06/2025: Quiet lunch break with fresh and tasty food! Air-conditioned environment and excellent for these hot days, we met with four friends, two of us ordered panzanella and farro salad, both very fresh, with raw vegetables in their natural state, I took the stuffed tomatoes, the other the pork loin with grilled vegetables. 10/07/2025: A culinary masterpiece in Prato: Even 6 stars wouldn't be enough! What an evening! What we experienced at this restaurant in Prato was simply fantastic and deserves far more than just five stars. It was a feast for the senses, from the warm welcome to the last, unforgettable bite. As soon as we entered, we were greeted personally by the chef, which immediately gave the evening a very personal touch. The service was excellent, attentive, and always unobtrusive throughout the evening. Another highlight was the personalized advice from the chef herself on the dishes on the daily menu – an appreciation rarely experienced and which gave us deep insights into the philosophy and passion behind the creations. A wine journey of the highest order The wine recommendation was simply amazing! I've never tasted a better Vermentino – this white wine was a revelation and paired perfectly with our appetizers. The recommendation for the main course, a local Feronio, was so fitting that we spontaneously decided to change our itinerary to visit the wine-growing region. The fact that the chef even put us in touch with the winemaker demonstrates the exceptional hospitality and desire to offer guests a completely perfect experience. Culinary delights you'll never forget The dishes themselves were of a quality rarely found. For our starter, we chose the "Nel blu dipinto di blu" – a variation of three fishes that, eaten in the recommended order, were an absolute delight. The subtle nuances and freshness of the ingredients were simply impressive. The pickled anchovies with cucumber and celery were also a delight, sending the taste buds on a wonderful journey. The primi piatti continued this delight: the stuffed shrimp ravioli with pesto Genovese and zucchini blossoms were a dream. Perfectly balanced in size and filling, they were the best homemade ravioli I've ever eaten – a true homage to Italian culinary art. The spaghetti with butter and anchovies was also a highlight. Perfectly cooked "al dente," the anchovy sauce melted into a homogenous culinary delight that melted in the mouth. But the highlight was the secondi piatti: a duck breast with glazed carrots and three sauces. The duck breast was crispy and cooked to perfection, while the three sauces formed a creamy blend of individual components, the likes of which I've never experienced before. Each component was a small work of art in its own right, and together they created a harmony that was simply captivating. All in all, it was an incredibly fine, delicious, and wonderful evening. The entire team, with passion and dedication, created an experience that went far beyond an ordinary restaurant visit. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience and the wonderful conversations! We will never forget this evening in Prato and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

12/07/2025: I had dinner with former co-workers last night. The steak was slab-style. The meat and bone were equally tough. The rump steak was good, but not the specialty the owner presents. Like everything else, it was presented as a specialty, but in reality, all the food was mediocre. The place was deserted on a Friday for dinner, probably just us, there's a reason... Then the bill was grossly overpriced, especially considering how poorly we ate, and I had some doubts about its fairness... Never mind. A negative experience that won't be repeated!!

26/10/2024: Delicatessen where we often have lunch or take away dishes: variety, every day, of first courses, second courses, desserts and many genuine and tasty side dishes (in summer there is also watermelon); try the caffè macchiato with a mountain of milk cream. Friendly and welcoming staff. The environment is familiar and you can also shop for food, including fruit and vegetables.
