23/03/2025: Not knowing the place at first I was hesitant, but considering the star we decided to give it a chance. Well, what can I say… Excellent experience. We opted for two long courses and each dish was masterfully made, managing to express the best of each ingredient. It was a beautiful experience that I recommend to everyone.

28/02/2025: My husband loved the ambiance. It just wasn't for me. I'm in Italy surrounded by history and art, and this place was all about the modern. I get that the food has to take center stage, as the art we went to experience. But it just wasn't for me! The food was delicious. We opted for the medium journey with the drink pairings. Our favorite drink was the house fermented beet juice.

04/04/2025: Eravamo in cerca di un posto per mangiare a pranzo, ma non volevamo violentarsi con i soliti posti squallidi tipo tavole fredde, bar, pizzerie, centri commerciali ecc. Goggle ci suggerisce questa posto, l'Osteria Il Cantiere a 15 minuti da dove eravamo. Troviamo un locale fuori dai flussi di traffico a San Giorgio a Colonica, una frazione periferica del comune di Prato, al confine con il comune di Campi Bisenzio, dove è difficile capitarci per caso. Mi colpisce subito l'immagine molto originale, dove la tradizione e i graffiti/disegni da fumetti alternativi, si fondono creando una distonia sorprendentemente piacevole. Capisco di non essere in un posto qualsiasi, e questo mi piace parecchio. Siamo accolti col sorriso dall'oste, non è poco di questi tempi. Menu fortunatamente non ricco, ma con piatti accattivanti, dove la cucina si identifica chiaramente come "tradizione rivisitata". E noi ci facciamo guidare. Trippa fritta per stimolare l'appetito, mai incontrata prima, spettacolare. Poi pici con lampredotto, polpo e topinambur, che ho trovato un azzardo meraviglioso. Come pausa pranzo veloce non è stata una pausa pranzo, ma una splendida e inaspettata breve esperienza. Non ho approfondito l'area vino, un calice a pranzo di un onesto sangiovese è stato più che sufficiente, ma sono certo che la cantina è all'altezza e coerente con quanto si percepisce. Consigliatissimo!!! PS mi organizzo e tornerò per cena, anche se ci sono 90 km tra dove abito e l'Osteria Il Cantiere.

09/03/2025: The restaurant is very picturesque in its furnishings, as particular as the menu which revisits traditional flavors in tasty and original dishes. We ate really well, so much so that we would have liked to have an encore of everything! Place we will return to without a doubt!

07/03/2025: Last Saturday I had a unique and enjoyable tasting experience from every point of view. I was fascinated by everything, the welcoming environment, the very professional and friendly staff, but the dishes we tasted were superb starting from the quality of its ingredients, cooked really well......like the pear tortelli with gorgonzola sauce, a first course from a thousand and one nights. We will definitely be back!!

07/03/2025: Sabato scorso ho avuto una esperienza gustativa unica e godibile sotto ogni punto di vista. Sono stato affascinato da tutto, l'ambiente accogliente, il personale molto professionale e simpatico, ma i piatti che abbiamo gustato erano superbi a cominciare dalla qualità dei suoi ingredienti, cucinati veramente bene ......come i tortelli di pera al sugo di gorgonzola, un primo da mille e una notte. Ci torneremo senz'altro!!

27/03/2025: Siamo venuti a pranzo per il compleanno di mia mamma. Lo abbiamo provato ad ottobre e adesso siamo clienti affezionatissimi. Abbiamo preso l’antipasto con 4 assaggi (SPECIALE) e io ho preso il pesce spada alla siciliana con verdure fritte. I miei genitori hanno preso i paccheri con calamari, gamberi e verdure. Era speciale anche quello. Alla fine dolce e sorbetto. TUTTO MAGNIFICO SUPER MEGA CONSIGLIATO

26/02/2025: A secluded place, very well looked after and enhanced by Giulia, who serves and always advises with a smile and also by the chef, who also comes between the tables. The food and matching wines are decidedly high quality, but it is not a place just for snobbish people, on the contrary, you don't feel out of place even if you are "normal". 10.

04/02/2025: Super location but it's just the beginning of a wonderful experience, a well-crafted menu as well as the dishes served. The gem is certainly the service managed by Giulia, a very young girl who first in Pistoia and then in Prato has demonstrated excellent skills. A tip for anyone who decides to go: use the glass pairing with the tasting suggested by the chef!

09/03/2025: Enchanting place about 1100m above sea level, from the main road you need to go up on foot or with a suitable vehicle for another 800m. Any sacrifice is repaid by a welcome and very good rustic, Tuscan-Emilian cuisine.

04/04/2025: Warm and welcoming environment, with a family atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away. In the warmer months, you can eat outside, making the experience even more pleasant. The owner is very friendly and easy-going, able to put everyone at ease with his joking but always professional way of doing things. The fish dishes are all excellent, especially the seafood carbonara, which is simply out of this world! Honest prices and guaranteed quality. A place where I always gladly return... highly recommended!

26/02/2025: Siamo tornati dopo mesi: il posto é sempre carino ed accogliente, lo staff davvero gentile (cosa non scontata!). Il cibo si conferma ottimo! La loro pasta è un must: abbiamo provato quella con la salsa al tartufo, le tagliatelle al cinghiale, porri e salsiccia e come secondi il pollo e il daino..che dire, commoventi! I dolci spaziali: torta di mele con zabaione e…la loro panna cotta è da DELIRIO! Grazie, siete fantastici!!
