27/07/2025: A time-tested format, a fixed menu with Tuscan appetizers, Florentine steak, side dishes, and desserts for a total of €50 per person. The appetizers and side dishes were excellent and plentiful. The meat was good, but not as excellent as I remembered the last few times I came, which is why I didn't give it the highest rating. Obviously, this is just my personal preference, as I found it overcooked and therefore slightly tough on the outside. Excellent service.

27/07/2025: We came to this restaurant with friends, intrigued by the photos and reviews. A preface: It's suitable only for lovers of authentic Tuscan Florentine steak. In fact, it offers a fixed menu: a small entrée with a taste of excellent Panzanella, followed by Tuscan appetizers, some of which have been tastefully and refinedly reinterpreted, a grilled Florentine steak (calculated at 600g per person, so since there were four of us, the total weight was approximately 2.4 kg), side dishes of roast potatoes, cannellini beans, mixed salad, and, to finish, cantuccini biscuits and brigidini biscuits with Vin Santo. The wine list is extensive, ranging from a Chianti in a flask to the most sophisticated Italian reds (and beyond). The restaurant is stunning, elegant yet very welcoming. The owner and staff are highly knowledgeable and particularly friendly and welcoming. In short, we had an excellent Sunday lunch. One thing the owner is keen to point out during his quick introduction: the (exposed) fireplace uses only oak wood, no other wood, much less charcoal or similar. Furthermore, since the restaurant opened in 2009, the grill has only cooked Florentine steaks, no other meat! Finally, the price: all this quality (and abundance) at the fixed price of €50 per person, excluding wine. We spent €113.50 per couple. Price/quality/service ratio: excellent.

27/07/2025: The meat is spectacular, the mushrooms are good, the place is good, quality comes at a price... it's better to spend a little more and eat well than to save 20 euros and eat rubbish.

27/08/2025: What can I say... We had high expectations, and we weren't disappointed. If you want to eat meat... Well, this is the place!! Plus, it's easy to get there, with plenty of parking... I don't think you could ask for more. Highly recommended... Whether you're a couple or a group.

17/07/2025: A somewhat hidden restaurant and butcher shop. A very nice, modern seating area in a courtyard. The service was truly excellent. The lady serving was very friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was top-notch. The quality and taste were exceptional. A bit pricey, but rightly so! Highly recommended.

12/06/2025: I always go there willingly.. Very kind, nice place, good quality, and also abundant quantity.. Good wine branded Il Mulo that you drink it drinks and it goes with the meal. It ends with vin santo and different types of cantuccini.. Oh very good house bitter. Fixed menu Everything at €25.

07/08/2025: If you are looking at very locally, traditional italalian restaurant, this place is definetely for you. 3rd generation family business, currently run by two brothers, when everything began in 1947 it’s absolutely incredible! Very fresh, exquisite food, warm welcoming, great pizzas and excellent. We have asked for some pasta out of menu, and yep, we received it. An amazing arrabiata, bolognese and carbonarra🫶🏻❤️🥰 + unique and remarkable stories told by Brothers 😊 Absolutely high reccomended and must stop on cusine map in Italy! Great job! See you again😊🇮🇹🫶🏻

17/08/2025: On our last evening in Italy, we stumbled upon this restaurant. Upon entering, we had to look closely because the restaurant area was hidden behind the bar. Fabio was our host and welcomed us to the restaurant. The menu isn't extensive, but the dishes served are clearly prepared with love. Besides the menu items, there was also the opportunity to customize the dishes to your liking. We could share the appetizer, and for our son, we could order the classic pasta carbonara, which wasn't on the menu. Fabio recommended a delicious wine to pair with the pasta and provided helpful explanations about the flavors and the region's origins. The food was delicious, flavorful, and neatly presented. The staff checked regularly to make sure everything was to our liking without being intrusive. The dessert menu made choosing so much difficult because everything looked so delicious! Finally, we had an espresso and an ice-cold limoncello on the house. The price-quality ratio was excellent in our opinion. The price of a glass of wine or a beer was a bit high, but it's a choice whether or not to have it. We did and we absolutely didn't regret it. We certainly ate cheaper, but for the food we enjoyed, the bill was certainly not excessive. As a complimentary dessert, we were treated to a beautiful view. This restaurant is definitely recommended. Reservations are recommended! We truly had a wonderful evening.

12/08/2025: The meal was very good, but the gnocchi lacked seasoning. I would also recommend that the restaurant provide condiments such as salt and pepper at the beginning of the meal. The atmosphere was good, but I would have appreciated some light background music.

08/08/2025: A very nice restaurant, with super friendly service. The first day, they made a tuna pizza especially for my wife, which wasn't on the menu. The second day, we ordered a pizza Margherita to go for our daughter, who was unfortunately ill at the hotel. The service was friendly, and both the pizzas and the house specialty (lasagna) were delicious. Highly recommended!

04/08/2025: This was the first lasagna place I ate at during my first trip to Italy. I didn't speak any Italian at all. I arrived in the city late at night and randomly found a place along the road. After a lot of hand gestures with the owner, I chose this one. It tasted good, with a strong tomato flavor. The meat sauce was also good when spread on bread. At the end of the meal, I met locals who came to drink and chat, and it was really pleasant to feel the evening breeze. (I should have ordered a sprite, but I didn't know it at the time.)

07/06/2025: Just morning coffee at a local cafe on the road. Fresh sandwiches and croissants with good coffee, of course. We chose instead of breakfast in the apartment. The location on the street doesn't even bother.

15/08/2025: Beautiful setting for intimate birthday parties and romantic dinners in the middle of the vineyard, surrounded by fairy lights and nature! Traditional Tuscan food (even if the pici aren't pici), perfect Florentine steak and good wine, beautifully presented desserts, but their bolder flavor could use some work. Service was borderline, VERY long waits, but the staff were friendly. Very fair prices (about €10 a plate). I'll be back!

29/06/2025: Very welcoming environment with very professional staff, well prepared, kind and nice. Inside the menu there are many zero km dishes or in any case from very very close suppliers. Presentation of the dishes really cared for. Every dish we ate was really good. I recommend it to anyone who wants to escape the city and wants to spend a pleasant evening in the cool.

08/08/2025: David, Giorgia, and Dog are possible the best hosts I have ever interacted with. Their farm stay is comfortable with breathtaking views. There’s much to do from visiting other Tuscan villages or bigger cities, to relaxing on the patio with a good book and a glass of wine. No detail is overlooked during your stay and everything is carefully crafted including their itinerary guide book, included breakfasts, and once a week farm-to-table dinners. Wonderful, wonderful stay. Could not be happier.

02/08/2025: The B&B was fantastic. The location was beautiful and secluded, yet good restaurants were conveniently close by. David was a fantastic host, incredibly friendly and attentive. The extra virgin olive oil tour with accompanying dinner he offers is highly recommended!
