24/04/2026: Simple, Refined, Empathetic, Unmissable. Not dull and pointless gastronomic daring, but authentic cooking and ingenious appetizers. Authentic fresh fish without mannerisms or unnecessary sweeteners, fair wine markups, and attentive and friendly wait staff, along with the ever-present and attentive owners. A rare oasis of authentic gastronomy in Port'Ercole. Hats off!

10/05/2026: Delicious pizza and friendly service are the order of the day! The owner is very friendly and approachable, but the real gem is his partner, who is the soul of the shop!

26/01/2026: More than a pizza, it looks like a crust; in fact, it's a crispy pinsa. There are classics like the Margherita and the Bianca, and then many others with very unique and delicious combinations of ingredients. Recommended!

03/05/2026: A wonderful discovery, a place recommended by locals. Exceptional dishes prepared with care and skill; the "il coccio" appetizer is truly a masterpiece! The octopus and broccoli rabe were top-notch, along with the first and second courses worthy of true connoisseurs. Not to mention the desserts... superb! The price paid is definitely worth the meal! The staff were truly top-notch... knowledgeable, friendly, and always on point! The only negative, so to speak, is that they're leaving Porto Santo Stefano and moving to Orbetello... I'll definitely be back... count me in!

31/05/2026: ⭐️⭐️ An excellent location, but unfortunately, it's not enough to justify the price. Strengths: The property enjoys a truly excellent location in Porto Santo Stefano and offers convenient parking (a real plus in this area). Special mention goes to the staff, who were courteous, welcoming, and professional throughout our stay. Cons (Room 27): The problems began as soon as we opened the door to Room 27. I fully understand that it was the cheapest room in the property, but there are limits to everything, especially when you're paying €150.00 a night. The room is so small that it's uncomfortable: once you open your suitcases, moving around becomes virtually impossible. Furthermore, upon our arrival, we found that both the air conditioning and the television weren't working. The real sticking point, however, was the bathroom, which was completely dysfunctional: the sink measures just 20 centimeters, making it literally impossible to use without flooding the entire place or having to perform acrobatics. Conclusions: Flexibility on "basic" rooms in seaside locations is fine, but charging €150 a night for such limited space and non-functioning amenities is frankly madness. A property with this potential should guarantee minimum standards of livability in every single room.

15/05/2026: Minimal reception but with friendly, efficient, and professional staff. Rooms are spacious enough with all the essential amenities, though the mattresses are perhaps a little old. Spectacular views. Excellent location, close to town. High-quality and varied breakfast. Excellent dinner. Everyone was very courteous and helpful.

12/04/2026: We stayed for the weekend, Saturday 11 April and Sunday 12 April 2026, we had a very good stay, excellent service, excellent location, room with attention to the smallest details overlooking the sea, very suggestive, I would say perfect, very suggestive panoramic terrace overlooking the enchanting sea, Hotel with attention to the smallest details, excellent breakfast with table service by the extremely kind and helpful lady, at the reception Mrs Maria Elena and Mr. Director extremely kind and helpful, well what can I say, I would say absolutely everything perfect, absolutely recommended YES YES 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏😃😃😃😃

03/05/2026: Everything was superb, from the bread basket to the service. I contacted the restaurant via Google for a few details to celebrate my husband's birthday. I didn't need to explain anything; they watched us from afar and knew how to enter the scene at the perfect moment. Fantastic! The Gambero Rosso restaurant has a unique feature: you can smell the sea more inside than outside, and I'm not kidding. The menu is basic but full of character; we ordered everything off the menu, except for dessert. The fried purple shrimp was heavenly; sweet, flavorful, and super lightly fried. The first course was tagliolini with shrimp and bottarga: a unique explosion of flavors and aromas, truly unique in very few places. The second course was baked snapper with cherry tomatoes, olives, and capers: it was like coming home to my grandparents. The dessert: a lemon ice cream with a Nuorese basil sauce and a contrasting sweet/savory base. A delicate and decisive balance, totally unexpected. The service was outstanding; we felt pampered every minute, and the staff was attentive, helping us make the best choices for us—something we didn't take for granted. The service was exceptional; we ate from appetizer to dessert in two hours, unhurriedly. We'll definitely be back, because Gambero Rosso isn't a place you'll easily forget.

25/04/2026: We had lunch at Gambero Rosso in Porto Ercole, and the experience was overall very positive, with a few comments about the ending. Location (8/10) Despite overlooking the main road, it offers a pleasant view of the marina. The rooms are refined, well-kept, and very clean, immediately conveying a sense of quality. Menu (8/10) Very fresh ingredients. The tagliolini with sea urchin was truly excellent, flavorful, and well-balanced. The fried food was also excellent: dry, light, and crispy, executed with great care. Service (9/10) The restaurant's strong point. The staff is highly professional, kind, and attentive: you are welcomed and looked after carefully from start to finish. Bill (6/10) The location, the quality of the service, and the freshness of the products justify the price. However, some choices are a bit unbalanced: charging a local pink shrimp the same as a lobster is a bit puzzling. Conclusion This restaurant is recommended for a quality experience, although not one for frequent visitors. With a more balanced pricing policy, it could become a true reference point for many.

15/10/2025: Ugo’s pub is tucked in a corner across the street from Hotel Conchiglia and near the marina. they have a pub menu (sandwiches and appetizers) as well as a dinner menu and a selection of beer and wine. i ordered the Frittura Di Paraza (Fried Calamari, Shrimp and small fish) from the dinner menu (€20) along with a Leffe Belgian Red Ale (€6) The dish was served with a basket or warm bread which appreciated because the main dish was not pleasant to eat. 😔 The bite sized fish were edible but the calamari was rubbery and the shrimp tiny! All of it was extremely salty! I wish i hadn’t gone there for my last meal in Porto Ercole. It’s important to note that they also charge each person an additional €2 to sit and eat.

02/05/2026: The sea bream was good, but the service was totally lacking! We started ordering, and the waitress disappeared halfway through! To continue, we had to wait for someone to count us. The same goes for the dishes that arrived after ages, and no waiter counted you, you practically had to wave your arms! Shame!
