31/08/2025: Excellent location for an aperitif or brunch.

29/08/2025: I returned here after a few years for an aperitif. I remembered it being much more lavish, with nothing special about the cocktails. Service was too slow; we had a table booked for 8:30 PM, but they started serving us around 9:45 PM.

30/09/2025: It’s a popular spot for locals but my coffee was cold and the gelato pretty ordinary.

26/09/2025: Came across this charming place by chance while wandering Palermo’s quaint side streets. Ordered one hamburger with peppers and they brought me 2 hamburgers which was a lovely surprise and a treat cos I was starving. Our server was very polite and accommodating, wonderful attitude and energy. The food was delicious, I would definitely go back next time I’m in Palermo.

16/09/2025: Crapa Licca is a beautiful resort that allows you to quietly nestle into the hills and mountains of the Sicilian countryside in a peaceful retreat. The restaurant is lovely with great food and service. Spent 6 days here exploring northern Sicily and wholly recommend considering a stay.

14/09/2025: We went for lunch, "a day trip" to this "agriturismo," and to call it that is an understatement! We were greeted superbly by the wait staff and the owners! We started lunch with the various courses! Everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert, everything was exceptional. A tasting menu always full of new flavors, not the classic "plate" menu. Excellent service, spotlessly clean and fresh! The wait staff was highly trained and competent, and last but not least, the cuisine was excellent. The best agriturismo ever. I recommend it.

27/09/2025: My husband and I had dinner at Arabesque on Sept 18th and Claudio and his wife were incredible hosts. The food and service was amazing, thanks Claudio for recommending the fish, it was so fresh and flavourful. They selected all the food, with delicious appitizers and wine. Our servers were so friendly and accommodating and made our experience unforgettable. Thank you again for a great dinner and evening to all of you!

27/09/2025: We had dinner here September 18th. We have nothing but praise for the owner Claudio his family and the staff. Claudio made us feel like family from the moment we met and made a suggestion based upon our preferences. Our server (unfortunately forgot his name) selected the remainder of our meal and bottle of wine. Words cannot describe the food and flavors. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Till next time.

10/06/2025: Accoglienza, gentilezza e soprattutto piatti veramente buoni con mix di sapori azzeccati , abbiamo provato 4 portate e nessuna ci ha deluso ..specialmente la calamarata con crema di mandorle e tartare di gambero …

06/06/2025: Wir waren gestern hier essen. Vorangeht sei, dass das Restaurant eher zur Kategorie €€-€€€ Euro zählt und nicht €, wie bei TripAdvisor kategorisiert.. Nicht desto trotz haben wir sehr gut gegessen. Als Vorspeise gab es frittierten Pulpo mit einer Paprikas Sauce und Kalbtatar mit einer Thunfischsauce. Beide Vorspeisen waren ausgezeichnet und sehr schön angerichtet. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir Pasta mit einer schmackhaften hellen Sauce und Scampi und einmal den gegrillten Schweinebauch mit karamellisiert Zwiebeln und gegrilltem Mais, beides auch sehr schmackhaft und nett angerichtet. Der bestellt Roséwein war sehr fruchtig, aber nicht zu lieblich und hat ausgezeichnet zu den Gerichten gepasst. Unsere Rechnung betrug insgesamt etwas über 100 €, für die Speisen und Getränke, die wir konsumiert haben absolut angemessen.

11/09/2025: Best pizza I had on the island. Very popular place amongst the younger groups and families. The menu is big and there is something for everyone and every appetite. Get there early if you want the sfincione siciliano. They run out. Its a must, as it is a classic!

05/10/2025: We had a really good time; the food was excellent and, as they say, plentiful. The sardine meatballs were truly gourmet, and everything else was equally delicious. Excellent and fast service. The wine list was good.

09/08/2025: Antica Trattoria San Giovanni was a perfect choice for lunch between my wife and I, after a long carefree day at Lake Piana degli Albanesi, we ate an appetizer of local cold cuts and cheeses with the addition of honey, excellent quality food and abundant accompanied by delicious local re-milled bread, after which we chose a first course of excellent workmanship, my wife had a risotto with pesto, burrata, cherry tomatoes, shrimp, very tasty and abundant, instead I had a plate of linguine sciuè sciuè seasoned with capers, dried tomatoes, pistachio and breadcrumbs, oil, also very tasty and abundant, with two glasses of red wine, finally we chose a dessert with chantilly cream and croccantini as a side, very delicate and light flavor. This is what we really appreciated about Trattoria San Giovanni: the professional and courteous service, our opinions were kindly asked every time, even by the chef. It's a wonderful place that my wife and I carefully chose because it's family-run, and we were therefore thrilled and happy with our choice. The atmosphere is quiet and clean, comfortable and welcoming. We're sure we'll return to try some other dishes, or a main course we didn't choose but will try again next time. Many thanks to the owner, who welcomed us so kindly.

One of the best in the entire city... top-quality ingredients and cooking in a wood-fired oven make the pizza something ecstatic 😻 even when we order it for home delivery!! Very friendly and never rude under any circumstances! Congratulations for everything truly ❤️

09/08/2025: The first day we arrived to Palermo we went to this ice cream shop that was next to our hostel and we loved it. They have ice cream in brioche that are really delicious and the employees are very nice and friendly. Without a doubt the best ice cream in Palermo (and maybe in Sicily). The Pistachosa flavor is AMAZING, we ate one every day! ❤️❤️❤️

26/09/2025: The food is excellent and plentiful. The menu should be expanded and prices should be added to the dessert list. The price is a bit high.

22/09/2025: The pizza dough was too dry. Too much crust and not enough toppings. For the menu price, which was significantly above average, I expected better.
