The park appears somewhat neglected, but its diverse flora and historical buildings make it well worth a visit. A modern, interactive exhibition on nature and the environment is a welcome addition for visitors.

A disappointment! We expected much more. Compared to botanical gardens in other cities around the world, this one is deplorable. Poorly maintained. Limited plant variety. No orchid garden whatsoever… A real shame. The only nice thing was the small bar with its comfortable seating.

Exceptional for the presence of so many species, many of which are centuries-old, true monuments. Some areas could be better cared for. Take all the time you need to enjoy this spectacle. The museum and film viewing center are interesting. An experience worth having.

A great place to stroll in the shade and admire exotic plants. It's quite large, so you can spend an hour or three hours there.

Beautiful botanical garden. I visited here as a couple and purchased a ticket that gave us access to three facilities—the botanical garden, Doderlein, and Salinas—for €13. I recommend this stop if you're staying in Palermo for more than a day.

14/06/2026: Years have passed, but the atmosphere and especially the food are still top-notch. The menu is extensive, with a wide selection of starters, main courses, and pizzas.
22/03/2026: A piece of advice, change the type of ham (if you can call it that) it's not nice to present a pizza with ham at the exit (Emilian covaccino) with a shoulder and also of low quality, I'm not saying to use a national cooked ham but there are some decent legs (this is told to you by someone who works with cured meats).
