17/07/2025: The food was very good and well presented. Definitely value for money. Service was prompt and friendly. The only disappointment was that we discovered this restaurant on our last night in Cefalu, and couldn’t come back for more.

17/07/2025: The hotel restaurant is right on the Cefalù seafront. There are both indoor and outdoor seating. I recommend the outdoor seating because of the beautiful sea view. We ate very well, including a mixed antipasto, busiate pasta with Mazara shrimp, and spaghetti with clams and shrimp. Everything was truly delicious, and the staff were all very friendly, helpful, and professional. Excellent restaurant.

06/08/2025: A simply spectacular location, especially around dinner time, when the sun slowly sets over the sea, offering a breathtaking sunset right over the islands of Levanzo and Favignana. A unique atmosphere that alone is worth the visit. The ingredients are of the highest quality, incredibly fresh, and showcased to the fullest: they are presented directly to the table on a trolley, with careful and detailed explanations that convey passion and expertise. Personally, I had a wonderful meal at both lunch and dinner! The staff is incredibly kind, always smiling and extremely helpful, capable of immediately putting you at ease and making the experience even more enjoyable. A highly recommended place, one we'll gladly return to. Congratulations!

23/07/2025: August 2024, we called after 2:30 PM because we arrived late in town... we were warmly welcomed, and were told that the restaurant, by specific decision of the owner, Gaetano, the "Chef," is always open from lunch until late in the evening. The Garelli Gulp (a moped from my time) is a lovely and spectacular place, with many other photos hanging on the wall. The menu was simply spectacular, with delicious dishes. We had the busiate with sardines, very fresh and flavorful, busiate with grouper sauce, swordfish meatballs, and the fantastic illegal cannoli, a true delicacy! We wanted to meet Gaetano, a young chef who masterfully combines flavors and ingredients. The pasta is homemade. I even met his mother, a very kind person. What can I say? We returned during our stay to enjoy the other delicacies. Congratulations again. I'll be back in the area again in 2025, and I won't miss dinner at the Vintage restaurant... See you soon, Gaetano.

29/07/2025: Oggi ero con un amico non avevo pranzato allora l’amico mio dato che Ernesto era chiuso siamo andati in questo bar. Vedo il banco dei rustici quasi vuoto ordino un arancino dopo aver aspettato 20 minuti mi portano un arancino congelato all’interno e caldo all’esterno immangiabile. Io posso capire un bar dove non c’è turismo e/o vendono 2 arancini in tutta la giornata ma non nel salotto buono di Catania . Ho dato due morsi e da siciliano mi sono rifiutato di mangiarlo vergognatevi

28/07/2025: Sono senza parole per il servizio. Chiedo se sia possibile togliere i salumi dal mio aperitivo rinforzato, e mi viene risposto molto sgarbatamente che non si può dato che il piatto dell'apericena viene già preparato prima. Quando arriva il piatto noto due fette di salumi (secche) messe sopra dei paninetti, era quindi molto semplice toglierle per andare incontro al cliente ed essere gentili. Inoltre un altro cameriere, nel portare il vassoio, ha rovesciato il contenitore con le mozzarelline , una è rotolata sul tavolo e lui è andato via senza fare nulla e senza portarmi un'altra ciotola. Atteggiamento irrispettoso, e per tutto agitati e rumorosi spostavano senza delicatezza le sedie e urlavano tra loro Qualità del cibo bassissima, deludente.

17/06/2025: Ottimo cibo quello che ho mangiato era delizioso con piatti molto abbondanti. Il posto era carino e accogliente, un po' di caldo ma niente di che. Se vi trovata al centro storico di Trapani consiglio questo ristorante, non è nemmeno troppo lontano dal centro.

17/04/2025: We did a little tour with four different hotels and resorts. From luxurious resorts to simple agruturismo accommodation, everything was there. Villa Ginevra is just a few minutes from Brolo and is easy to find. Beautifully located!! We received a personal and very warm welcome and were shown around. The Swiss owner couple are very lovely and friendly!! We were the only guests on the first night, on the second and third days we had company from a small German yoga group. The entire property is very well maintained and everything coordinates perfectly. The pool is beautifully located, but unfortunately it was too cold at that time of year and couldn't be used. In summer you can definitely enjoy your time by the pool there. Problems with the refrigerator and toilet flushing were resolved immediately. We booked early directly through the hotel website with an early bird discount offered with a non-cancellable room. We really liked the super double room with the extra bed for a third person on the upper floor. Unfortunately, it was only possible to specify two people when booking online because it was advertised as a double room, although it can accommodate three people. In the addition I stated that we were bringing our six-year-old son with us. After we checked in we were informed that there would be a separate charge of €70 per night for the child! That was more than the prorated adult rate in the room. We found this price too much for our child, but unfortunately we didn't respond to our request. What a shame! That spoiled the vacation a little because we had paid a lot of money for the three nights. You pay for the view and the atmosphere here. The breakfast on the second and third days was good, as additional food was offered due to the arrival of the yoga group, which had booked half board with brunch. However, on the first day the breakfast was a bit slimmed down as we were the only guests. However, we would have expected more for this room price. The room itself was fine, but a bit damp due to the climate. It is a separate building/small stone house. You have to ventilate a lot so that the moisture doesn't collect, but our clothes were a bit damp after the third day and smelled accordingly. A few little things in the room, such as a kettle, bottle of water or at least glasses, would have been desirable. No German TV channel available, no streaming possible. (It was only interesting for our child). Table football was again a nice highlight. The beautiful location and how well everything has been renovated are absolutely stunning, but everything is geared more towards groups and weddings. The restaurant will not be opened for individual guests in the evening. The area is very large, there are many olive trees and the food is homemade. The jams and bread in the morning were delicious and reflected a bit of the vaunted agroturismo charm. Overall, however, the price-performance ratio was not right in the previous season. When we asked the receptionist to discuss our concerns directly with the owner, we were more or less refused and we were asked to pay directly upon arrival. We found that a bit bold and would have liked to have been more accommodating here. We generally travel very frequently, so we can summarize this.

22/06/2025: The appetizer I chose "Bruschetta with tomato sauce, French fries and fried bread" was delicious 👌🏻! But the pizza is very good! 👏🏻. And the fruits like the yellow melon were exquisite. And let's not forget the drinks like water and Fanta very refreshing. 😌

13/07/2025: I've been there more than once, and the food is truly excellent. The dishes are plentiful, and we even had seconds. Last Sunday, we were a group of six. It was very hot, and the outdoor dining area, set up with air conditioning and fans, was comfortable. In addition to tables like ours, there was also a banquet. Suddenly, the Maître d' thought it best to unplug a fan near our tables without saying anything and instead increase the ventilation at the banquet. Dear Maître d', I remind you that there are no first-class customers and second-class customers. Luckily, the waiter who complained about this situation took the fan back against the Maître d''s wishes. Unfortunately, not everyone is professional when they work and they ruin the image of a superlative establishment. See you next time.
