05/08/2025: il Bar Alecci riveste il carattere della grande qualita' siciliana,cortesia ,qualita,e finezza.a mio avviso le loro granite granitesono fra le migliori di Catania ,ambiente accogliente e personale gentilissimo,una in particolare,una ragazza minuta con gli occhiali e' da premio nobel per gentilezza e disponibilita',Insomma e' una tappa obbligatoria per chi ama il gusto e le qualita' siciliana

27/07/2025: The granitas are delicious, but it doesn't matter if the owner, who acts like a boss, treats his employees terribly, constantly yelling at them, berating them, and making the atmosphere in the bar tense, even for the customers sitting at the tables. Our sympathy goes out to the waitresses and waiters, who were impeccable.

12/07/2025: We went for dinner, accompanied by local friends. The location is enchanting, and the owners were truly welcoming and professional. The food was plentiful, excellent quality, and there was a children's menu. The place doesn't offer an à la carte menu; you eat what's prepared that day. It may seem restrictive, but in reality, this resulted in a very high level of food preparation, carefully selected and well-balanced across the appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert. Highly recommended, but always call ahead.

30/04/2025: It's a unique place. You arrive in a special place, with incredibly good ice cream, a wonderful Aperol Spritz and a splendid view. It's not too touristy, which allows you to get a taste of the real Italy. But the real highlight is the girl at the counter. She is incredibly kind and helpful, bright but modest, cheerful and sociable. It's the best place in Messina.

02/08/2025: Aperitivo (Aperol Spritz) with mini pizzas, mini arancini, olives, and chips. Excellent pizza, from the dough to the ingredients, with several unique and appetizing choices. Prices are average but not as low as described in older reviews. A bit of confusion among the waiters about where to seat us, but nothing serious.

09/07/2025: A historic, spacious, and elegant bar in Biancavilla where you're guaranteed to enjoy whatever you want, given the delicious food. Its only drawback is its location on the outskirts of town.

18/06/2025: 20 euros for a fish aperitif that didn't convince us. Basically half of it was appetizers with sticky and not fresh bread. The only decent thing were the mussels, which were good but unfortunately served cold, and the cuttlefish, which fortunately were hot. The rest, including the service, in our opinion needs to be reviewed.

30/07/2025: Excellent restaurant in Sferracavallo, friendly staff, and fast service. You'll eat until you drop, and Sferracavallo remains a safe bet for seafood. P.S. If you manage to get a seat on the terrace, you'll enjoy not only an excellent dinner but also a stunning view.

24/07/2025: They cook well, and the service is truly excellent. I'm sure, however, that the best never ends.

07/08/2025: We had a very good meal. We found the "Gorgonzola Gnocchi," atypical for southern Italy, here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the pasta with seafood was also very tasty. We can't say that the waiters were unfriendly. Everyone was friendly, and they even swatted the wasps away from under our noses with an electric tennis racket. All good. Thank you.

05/08/2025: Think school canteen and you’ll not be far wrong. Food was fine, service needs improvement. Seated quickly, menus issued, drinks prompt. Food arrived and literally chucked on the table. Fish was fine but wasn’t filleted as per the menu and so was returned to the kitchen to be done. No Parmesan offered with the pasta - had to be asked for. First bottle of wine returned as it was corked. Water was good though.

22/07/2025: Excellent Italian food we love the carpaccio we love the pizza and we love the pasta bologna. The service was amazing. Marco was such a delight so sweet so genuine!! He took such good care of us. I highly recommend this place. It has the best Sicilian food !!
