12/01/2026: Lu Furat is nestled among Alghero's old stone walls, as if the restaurant has grown out of history itself. When you sit down, you are surrounded by a soft murmur, candlelight and the scent of freshly baked pizza and garlic that slowly fills the air. It is warm, intimate and completely stress-free. The food is rustic and self-evident. The pizza has the perfect balance between crispy bottom and soft middle, the pasta is generous and full of flavor, and each dish feels prepared with respect for tradition rather than trends. A glass of wine in your hand, stones under your feet and time that suddenly doesn't matter. You stay here for a long time. Talking a little quieter, laughing a little more, letting the evening take shape. Lu Furat is not just a restaurant – it is part of the soul of Alghero, where food, history and presence merge into something you take home with you.

11/09/2025: It’s such a nice, family-owned little place in Castelsardo! The staff if so friendly and welcoming! This place felt like really a local one, not tourist-based. The owner is also actively serving the food and wine, but not really speaking English, but it’s not a problem. We felt very good here and the view from the terrace was magical. The food is also good, but simple - it is more of a local, authentic place, nice, simple food - more of a vibe. You always choose from a few options for the day as a menu. But you feel, they made the food with care. :)

18/11/2025: Very positive experience both for the freshness and goodness of the food, but also for the welcome from the owner (I think), a polite and very professional girl, I have eaten there several times, the fried food excellent, the fregola super and the seadas with black dough and honey superlative, all top quality, I recommend it to everyone.

12/11/2025: Be prepared for a significantly higher price due to the location! In return, you get a breathtaking view and the very best seafood. The cold, raw seafood antipasti were delicious!

02/11/2025: The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was stunning. We shared the Lasagna for lunch and it was the best we’ve ever had. The chef sent us some mussels in a dreamy sauce and then desert cookies when we were done. We highly recommend this restaurant!

11/12/2025: I stumbled upon them yesterday at "Mercante in Fiera" in Milan: fantastic products, the best amaretti I've ever eaten! On my next trip to Sardinia, I'll definitely be stopping in Sorso.
