11/09/2025: This restaurant in Porto Rotondo is in a prime location (it was hard to find at night) and very quiet. It offers a well-presented menu and a decent wine list. The service is top-notch. Despite the fact that September isn't very busy in the area, neither the service nor the quality has suffered. I can't comment on the price because you're in Porto Rotondo. You wouldn't want to eat like at B.K. Highly recommended for many reasons, but what we liked most was the attention of the waiters and the owner himself. Thanks for the myrtle!!!!

08/09/2025: The location is simply unique on the Costa Smeralda, a fantastic, elegant little square with a breathtaking view. Prices are average for Porto Rotondo. Excellent food with a simple, typical local menu. Oscar-winning fregola. My heartfelt compliments to the entire staff. Absolutely not to be missed. You'll experience a special evening. Well done, and sincere congratulations.

04/10/2025: Good food in abundance! Homely atmosphere and great service. We went for the mix starter for 2 and seafood spaghetti for two. The spaghetti was great, nicely server and the portion was large. The starters were various, all rather good, the octopus in tomato was probably the best. Quiet place, probably because it was Friday and it's far from any big thing. The staff was super welcoming, although they didn't speak English (I think it's quite normal around here though).

03/10/2025: This is an excellent establishment that we highly recommend. The staff is warm, attentive, and helpful. We are French, and the waiter made the effort to speak to us in French; he speaks very well, in fact, which we appreciated. As for the meal, nothing to complain about either: quality products and gourmet cuisine. A must-see when staying in Olbia!

04/09/2025: I had dinner a few nights ago with friends. Excellent value for money, the dishes were very good. A special mention for the Mediterranean sea bream. Friendly service.

28/09/2025: We stopped at this pizzeria before boarding our boat back to Genoa. The lady who served us was very nice and kind! The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven and is thin with a light dough. It's definitely worth considering as a pre-trip stop, especially if, like us, you're used to eating pizza on Sundays. Plus, it's easy to park nearby and just 10 minutes from the port!

02/10/2025: Excellent dinner featuring a remarkable amberjack ceviche and a good fish and shellfish soup. Perhaps a little too soupy, overpowering the underlying flavors. The white wine served was good, as was the myrtle dessert.

30/08/2025: We ordered oysters and scampi, very fresh and sweet. The service is great, the food is delicious. The restaurant owner even helped us since it became so hard to find a taxi. Thank you for the great hospitality! We will definitely come back again

04/09/2025: Departing from the port of Olbia, we decided to please the kids by stopping at this pub. The food was decent, I wouldn't linger, the service was friendly and attentive, the location was interesting, and there was plenty of space, including parking.

04/09/2025: Everything was excellent. The waiters Debora and Alessio were very kind, helpful, and professional. Debora gave us excellent recommendations on the dishes! Clean place, amazing food.

22/08/2025: Very nice bar, open very early as advertised, good breakfast with plenty of choices. Special credit to the person behind the counter who was incredibly kind and made our stay wonderful.

10/08/2025: Great Pizza Planet, the pizza itself isn't bad, even if it's a bit salty. However, I didn't like the pizzeria's behavior: I ordered on Deliveroo and my pizza was missing an ingredient, and there was another one on top. I filed a complaint, and obviously there's no refund.

18/10/2025: Amazing very reasonably priced seafood in a perfect location looking onto Pittulongu beach, with friendly, lovely staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I ended up having three meals there in one day: lunch: melt in your mouth tuna tartare with guacamole, followed by local fish ravioli in a delicious sauce thick soup style base. Later a coffee and fresh fruit snack - it was good to have fruit as an option on the menu and not just sweet options. Finally, dinner. I had seen the mixed seafood, veg and fish grill on Google reviews and it looked delicious so I had to try it, it certainly didn’t disappoint, and was thankfully not smothered in sauce but let the individual flavours speak for themselves. I also had the octopus starter, washed down with a refreshing local house white wine. The photos don’t do the food justice especially since in most cases I had already taken a few bites before I remembered to take a pic :) The price per person includes all the meals that I had not just one meal.

VISITORS — ESPECIALLY WOMEN — should be warned: this place does not respect basic human dignity, let alone hospitality. Do not come here if you expect respect or safety. I experienced one of the most humiliating and shocking incidents of my life at this restaurant in Pittulongu, Sardinia. This is a simple restaurant on a public beach. I walked in politely, intending to order some traditional dishes with drinks and sit quietly by myself. A waiter told me I could only be served if I put clothes over my swimsuit. That was perfectly fine — I respected the rule, walked all the way back to my sunbed, dressed fully in a long button-up dress, and came back ready to order. When I returned, the woman at the counter looked at me with contempt, refused to take my order, and laughed with her colleague. I calmly asked what the issue was. She spoke in Italian rudely, rolled her eyes, and said nothing clear. I then said, “If you’re not serving, I can just take away.” She snapped back, “No, no take away either.” Completely shocked, I asked, “Then why did you tell me to get dressed and come back?” She gave no answer, and called over another male staff member because she couldn’t speak English. The man approached me in an intimidating way — no apology, no explanation — just arrogance and hostility. Another toxic, hyper-masculine guy nearby began gesturing aggressively, almost threatening me physically. The restaurant was badly managed, short-staffed, and completely chaotic — yet pretending to be “high-end.” They were clearly uncomfortable with the fact that I was expecting basic courtesy and respect, so they chose to dismiss and humiliate me instead. The aggressive man stood too close, giving off threatening energy, and told me to go outside to “discuss” the problem. His only concern was saving face in front of customers. I refused and said: “You can explain yourself right here, in front of everyone.” At that moment, I realised this was not about service — this was pure discrimination and harassment through xenophobia. I was surrounded by Italian guests being served normally and treated with respect, while I — a solo female tourist from the UK — was treated like an intruder. The man continued to act aggressively, standing over me and speaking loudly to silence me. I felt physically unsafe and verbally humiliated. People around were watching, but no one intervened. I eventually left shaking and deeply distressed. Meanwhile, he was speaking in Italian to other guests, likely twisting the story to make me look at fault. Then another man — a complete stranger — came up and told me: “This is Sardinia. You are a guest here. You need to be respectful!” That moment said it all. They were defending their own discriminatory behaviour by shifting the blame onto me. I was verbally harassed, physically threatened, and clearly discriminated against — simply because I was a foreign woman. As a solo female traveller, I have never felt so degraded or unsafe in a supposedly civilized place. This was not a misunderstanding — it was xenophobia, gender-based discrimination, and verbal harassment in full view of everyone.
