01/11/2025: Disappointing. As we'd say back home, this place is a case of "wanting to be something it's not." The food is quite average for the price: the fregula and chiusoni were nothing special; we had much better ones at other restaurants during our trip to Sardinia, and for a significantly lower price. Overall, everything at this restaurant has the "look" but lacks the "substance." It's pretty representative of Porto Rotondo in general: lots of "celebrity" nonsense, and in the end, nothing special.

02/10/2025: Excellent dinner featuring a remarkable amberjack ceviche and a good fish and shellfish soup. Perhaps a little too soupy, overpowering the underlying flavors. The white wine served was good, as was the myrtle dessert.

24/10/2025: Honestly, anyone ordering anything other than one of the three set menus here is simply lost! This was the best steak sandwich, or something similar, I've ever eaten. I see reviews of lasagna and shrimp here, and honestly, it's my own fault. The steak sandwiches are the best in all of Europe! The steak with cheese and the arugula mix is ​​simply amazing! Maybe a little too greasy for some tastes, but if that doesn't bother you, you'll love it!

20/09/2025: Mario is such a friendly guy and provides great service! The pizza is absolutely amazing—seriously some of the best around. Pizzeria Ping Pong is a true hidden gem! Highly recommend.

04/09/2025: We ate as a couple, huge portions, very modest seafood appetizer on the raw fish... 5 truffles and 3 oysters and a generous amberjack carpaccio priced at €30... the quality of the seafood was really high but a few additions didn't hurt... the first courses were really generous... very hectic service with a bit too much pressure from the waiters despite the place being half empty... overall a good restaurant but in need of a little tweaking...

29/10/2025: We had a wonderful evening! The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, we didn't have to wait long for our food, and the prices were reasonable. The pasta was delicious. I was very pleased to find two vegan options on the menu: spaghetti al pomodoro and penne al arabbiata, as these aren't always easy to find around here. We were served bread beforehand. The seating area is lovely, and the atmosphere is especially great in the evenings. I would definitely come back. :)

12/11/2025: Run away from this place!!! I got there and the parking was almost full aparently people that arent guests uses the parking spaces. I checked in and got in the room but I couldnt stand the smell of cigarettes in there. After complaining i got a new room that had a "better smell". In the new room wifi signal was awful, everything was old, covered in dust and mold. Even worse was the so called "breakfast" where they just place the leftovers from the day before on the table (and only sweet options). There are flies over the food (unprotected) and the waiter constantly passes by and takes a piece of pie with his bare hands. Probably one of the worst hotels I ve ever been.

05/11/2025: Centrally located, very friendly staff. I booked with breakfast, but unfortunately it only offered cakes, pastries, and other sweets. The Americano coffee is absolutely fantastic, and bread, butter, and omelets are available upon request. So everything was great! 👌 The bathrooms are in need of renovation. Italian, English, and French are spoken. Bus stops are nearby.

20/10/2025: The worst place on the island. Don't waste your time going to this terrible place on such a beautiful island. Dirty, neglected, and an understocked supermarket.

15/10/2025: Toilettes can be cleaned more frecvent, a nice swimming pool and many insects. Quite place!

11/10/2025: Improved food. Less vinegar in the vegetables and less garlic in the sauce. Five stars to all the staff without mincing words. Good luck everyone!

17/09/2025: Typically a men's bar. Lots of fatty and substantial food, and beer too... but the atmosphere is okay. Perfect for hungry men. The food tastes very average. A bar for quick bites.

06/09/2025: We spent a week across the street at the Hotel Brescia and went to this wonderful bar every night. The staff couldn't be friendlier, and the free side dishes with our beer, from olives to bacon rolls, were unheard of in Germany. Thank you for this wonderful week with you 😃👍🏻

21/09/2025: I confirm that Barbados remains my favorite place this year too. Everything is delicious, the quality of the ingredients is always top-notch, from appetizers to dessert. Everything is incredibly fresh. My favorite dish remains the calamarata, highly recommended!!! This year we were lucky enough to try the calamarata, but with a typical Sardinian fresh pasta dish, which is not easy to find!!! The owners are always very kind. The view, well... is no exception!!! The island of Tavolara is the perfect backdrop to all these delicacies!!!

28/08/2025: An excellent experience. I had a truly memorable experience at this restaurant. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. I had the opportunity to taste dishes from times gone by, increasingly rare, and of exceptional quality. The care with which they were prepared was evident in every bite. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves traditional cuisine and wants a unique experience.

22/08/2025: The food is good, but the prices are out of proportion for what you get. A snapper tartare for €24 for two measly bites is simply absurd. There's no menu at the table: you order almost blind. The experience doesn't justify the final bill.

25/09/2025: I visited this restaurant on Monday, September 8th. I had a reservation. The food was good, portions were decent, and the waiters were friendly, although the wait was a bit long. The prices were a bit high. It's a shame there were ants crawling on the floor near our table. I was there last year and never noticed them.

28/09/2025: Before calling, with only a few hours' notice, we hadn't read the reviews: MISTAKE. A friendly man answered the phone and assured us a reasonably priced spot for the same night (one car and two tents). Once we arrived, we discovered the campsite was a concrete parking lot covered in a thin layer of sand (so you can't pitch tents in the ground). One of us got out of the car and entered the dingy bar, where she was initially completely ignored. Then, after the man's nod, a middle-aged woman, with a vaguely disturbing demeanor, silently came outside to show us the campsite. We were motioned for her to get out of the car, while the woman tried to give directions to our driver in the parking lot, shouting, "The tree! THE TREE! THE TREE!!!!!" even though said tree was three meters away from the car. During the brief explanation of how the campsite works (not given voluntarily), the lady stopped and called her 45kg dog, Ginetto, yelling "GIGIIIII!!!" After leaving us to our own devices, very suspicious of us and with her watchful, penetrating gaze constantly on us all night, we attempted to use the reasonably clean bathrooms, which only had cold water; the hot water didn't even come on in time before it immediately shut off. We were scolded by the lady (who was watching our every move) several times during our very short one-night stay, as if we were children, for almost no reason. It must be said, however, that she was helpful, lending us the power plug, two plastic bags, and attempting to address the problem with our car, kindly in her own way.

24/09/2025: The perfect campsite for those like us who appreciate a beautiful sea view, tranquility, well-functioning facilities, and shade. The campsite was spotlessly clean. The location is strategic, as you can walk to Porto Miggiano or the small harbor for a swim. We especially appreciated the proximity to the spa, where we could swim in the thermal water pool (for just €5 per person for the day) as well as enjoy mud and inhalation therapies. Mrs. Pina and her son, Christian, made us feel right at home, and we are very grateful!
