03/09/2025: We visited the bar/restaurant because we thought they grilled a fish throughout the day. Unfortunately, they only do it in the evenings and only with a reservation. That left us with just a small selection of dishes to choose from, which I would describe as fast-food quality. Okay to eat, not particularly good or bad, and the price is, let’s say, reasonable for what you get. What I can praise is the view and the location. Otherwise, the place is furnished with plastic chairs and tables, so I definitely wouldn’t go back.

19/08/2025: Lovely place. We had a wonderful meal, both meat and fish. The salads were excellent. The owner was very kind, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommended!

17/09/2025: The pasta was delicious and prepared to perfection, as were the desserts. Unfortunately, the waiter was a little sleepy, but the place was packed.

16/09/2025: The prices are ridiculous, it's not worth going. The dishes are very poor.

03/10/2025: Good meat, they are careful about gluten-free, a celiac eats without problems.

30/09/2025: I was at this grill a few nights ago, let's say the wait was a bit long, three quarters of an hour to eat some simple grilled meat, the prices seemed a bit high to me, not so much for the meat, but for a mixed fried food with some vegetables I found it to be an exaggerated price, for the rest the meat was good.

16/09/2025: We made a reservation for two. We chose the Sardinian menu, which includes Sardinian cured meats and cheeses, Sardinian gnocchetti, and our signature dish was the suckling pig. The service was perfect, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff. One flaw, perhaps unique to that evening, was that they forgot to bring us drinks, but otherwise, nothing to complain about. They were quick throughout. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to sample traditional Sardinian cuisine in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, just steps from the center of San Teodoro.

11/09/2025: We dined at this restaurant to try the fregola. I'd like to point out that it was served five minutes after we ordered, which wasn't bad, but receiving it so quickly certainly suggests it wasn't made fresh, given how long it takes to cook the fregola. At the same time, we ordered octopus with potatoes, which was cold and tasted like vinegar, as if it had been taken from a can of pickled seafood salad. The interior is not very well-kept, and the exterior leaves much to be desired. We won't be returning.

31/08/2025: The service was a bit slow and the drinks arrived after the dishes! Let's talk about the dishes. The prices are quite expensive for the quantity (1 prawn lost in the spaghetti, 5 ravioli for the culurgione). The food isn't bad but we're clearly left wanting more.

12/09/2025: Great place, very friendly staff. My husband had a pizza which was very good and for me the ribeye steak was delicious. The dishes arrived very quickly. The desserts took much longer to arrive but were good. Otherwise we had a very good time.

10/09/2025: Everything was good, it was a shame that there were no savoury croissants or sandwiches for a simple savoury breakfast.

25/09/2025: Excellent dinner in a simple and genuine inn... Great hospitality, they welcomed us anyway even if it was late.... Watch out for Nerino 😂 A ferocious guard dog who will watch over you throughout your dinner!!!

02/09/2025: We came in because we needed to use the bathroom. After ordering at the counter (where the bartender didn't say a word to us and looked at us almost annoyed), we asked the man at the tobacconist where the bathroom was since it wasn't signposted. He told us we had to order first (???). After we pointed out that we had already done so, we managed to use the bathroom. On our way out, he even dared to tell us that the bar wasn't a public bathroom, all in a very rude manner. People like that don't deserve a penny.

30/08/2025: At the bar, the prices for breakfast were excessive. The tobacconist, on the other hand, didn't even return the greeting and wouldn't charge by card. What a shame.

18/07/2025: Slow service and disappointing food. The croissants were terrible – sometimes they’d even bring a bun and call it a croissant. There were just too many disappointing points overall. The service, in general, really wasn’t great. The only reason we kept coming back was because of the waitress Becky. She was fantastic – friendly, attentive, and genuinely the highlight of the place. We actually started calling it Becky’s Restaurant.

15/07/2025: Barracuda: a sure thing in the heart of Baia Sardinia We returned after two years, and once again, Barracuda exceeded all expectations. So much so that we returned for two nights during our vacation. The restaurant is located in the main square of Baia Sardinia, in a very central and charming location. The welcome was impeccable: the staff were extremely kind, punctual, and extremely efficient. The comfortable seating also deserves a special mention—an often overlooked detail, but one that makes the experience truly enjoyable. We started with appetizers recommended by the waitress: Fried shrimp candies to be eaten whole, crispy and delicious, accompanied by fried seaweed. Fried tuna meatballs: flavorful, light, perfect. Mussels with crostini: a classic executed to perfection. But it was with the first courses that Barracuda truly won us over: Mezze maniche with mantis shrimp and cherry tomatoes: full and balanced flavor, a memorable dish. Tagliatelle with wild boar ragù: a surprising summer choice, but definitely worth trying for its delicate, balanced flavors. Spaghetti with clams: simply perfect. A true Neapolitan, we've rarely tasted anything so good. A masterpiece of simplicity and technique. For our second course, we shared an octopus tentacle on pumpkin cream: haute cuisine presentation, a flavor worthy of applause. To finish on a sweet note: tiramisu, baba, and torta caprese. All excellent, especially the tiramisu, soft and delicious. The service was fast, courteous, and always attentive, with excellent value. If you're passing through Baia Sardinia or the Costa Smeralda, Il Barracuda is a must-see. Excellent cuisine, a charming location, and a perfect atmosphere. Thank you for giving us another unforgettable experience.

25/09/2025: My family and friends went for dinner here We all ordered pizza which was uncooked and mine - La Sarda was rubbery (gommoso) We had to wait for more than 30mins to get our order while two of our friends had to wait another 10mins to get theirs They are not dog friendly so leave yours at home if you want to dine here. Overall poor service, low quality food and not dog friendly place.

12/09/2025: A simple trattoria on a side street off the main avenue, with truly excellent food... too bad the portions are a bit small! (One review says the exact opposite, huh!) Prices are in line with the quantity, and there's no cover charge. CONGRATULATIONS! I recommend it and we'll be back, asking for larger portions (hahahaha!)

10/08/2025: Ieri sera siamo tornati in questo ristorante, dove in passato avevamo avuto ottime esperienze e di cui anche i nostri amici ci avevano sempre parlato bene. Purtroppo, questa volta l’esperienza non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative: abbiamo ordinato due antipasti e due primi, ma dopo un’ora e mezza di attesa, chiedendo informazioni, ci sono stati serviti solo i primi. Tra attese e piatti mancanti, la cena non è stata soddisfacente. Detto ciò, va riconosciuta la gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale, che si è scusato sinceramente, ci ha applicato uno sconto e si è offerto di offrirci un caffè, un dolce o un amaro. Può capitare a tutti una serata storta e apprezziamo il modo cortese con cui hanno gestito la situazione.

09/08/2025: Ristorante veramente valido, prezzi tutto sommato in linea con il mercato, materie prime ricercate e amore per il proprio lavoro. Complimenti a tutti i ragazzi dello staff
