04/06/2026: Spectacular! We had a bit of everything, a varied selection, and it was all delicious. I highly recommend it. The service was excellent. I don't understand the low rating; it was recommended to us on our third night, and it was the best restaurant we had dinner at in Olbia. Plus, the atmosphere was lovely.

01/06/2026: We really enjoyed our dinner here. It was one of the few places in Olbia where we could get a good pizza 🍕 , which was a nice change since most restaurants seem to focus mainly on seafood. 🦞

02/05/2026: We dined on the typical Sardinian meat menu, and from the setting to the food and the staff, everything was sublime. The traditional Sardinian appetizer included pecorino cheese, olives, mushrooms, cured meats, and wine; wild boar with olives; a trio of culurgiones pasta with potatoes, cheese, and herbs; tortelli with pecorino cheese and malloreddos with purpuzza; and roast suckling pig with sweet potatoes, wine, and bitters. Everything was truly heartwarming; we highly recommend it.

17/10/2025: Everything was perfect. We had the opportunity to enjoy dinner featuring traditional Sardinian cuisine and breakfast.

15/10/2025: Our first meal since arriving on Sardinia but exceeded expectations. Beef, pasta and dessert were all amazing. Affrogato over white truffle ice cream was incredible.

06/06/2026: We arrived relatively early, shortly before 7:30 pm, so we still had a good selection of tables for two. The service was quite quick; we received two business cards with QR codes, as well as a physical food and drink menu. Unfortunately, it was only in English and Italian. Since I speak Italian, it wasn't a problem for me to understand the menu. Unfortunately, only large bottles of water were served. The beer was served in an iced glass – a nice touch. The starter, a mixed salad for us, was prepared for two people upon request, meaning each of us received a separate plate with the salad. The main course, spaghettone con frutti di mare, was excellent, served with a small plate and a refreshing towel. Kudos! My partner's calzone was also excellent. The wines (Cannonau di Sardegna / Vermentino di Gallura) were served beautifully by the glass. The crema catalana pâté e riduzione al mirto was simply divine. I can personally highly recommend Ristorante La Sciumara. The service staff are attentive, courteous, polite, and very competent.

30/05/2026: How do you really rate a place? Atmosphere: from morning till night, exactly the right music. Not on constant loop, coolest to match the mood of the moment. Food: Take account this is a bar not restaurant; the morning croissants are the best in San Teodoro. Staff: Exude a level of cool that Jim Morrison / David Bowie could only ever hope for. Beer: Rye River IPA…… didn’t get chance for any other….. why change from the best. Morning coffee: The best (we are in Italy, don’t forget. Every place has an Achilles heel, but try as we might, we can’t find any). How do you really rate a place? Atmosphere: From morning to night, the right music. Not on a constant loop, the coolest to match the mood of the moment. Food: Keep in mind that it’s a bar, not a restaurant; the morning croissants are the best in San Teodoro. Staff: They express a level of cool that Jim Morrison and David Bowie could only dream of. Beer: Rye River IPA... I haven’t had the chance to try anything else... why change from the best?
