04/04/2026: You order pizza for 8:30 PM and it's still not ready at 9:15 PM. Absurd.

27/02/2026: For the past three years, we've spent three weeks each year on our Sardinia tour – and every year we've returned to this restaurant in Urzulei, nestled in the mountains. It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, deep in the mountains, and that's precisely what makes it so special. An absolute dream. Here, good, honest cuisine is still paramount. This family-run business, managed by the owner's mother, radiates so much warmth. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion and tradition. Everything is fresh, authentic, and prepared with incredible love. In three years of Sardinia, we haven't eaten as well anywhere else. It's always a highlight of our trip and has become a fixed part of our itinerary. If you're looking for genuine Sardinian cuisine, warmth, and quality, this is the place to be. For us, it's one of the best places on the entire island. We'll be back. 🥰❤️

10/10/2025: Can be recommended for various reasons

06/10/2025: A well-maintained, very nice little hotel complex with a lovely pool and garden. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge selection, always fresh fruit, tomatoes, cucumbers, and always black bread. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, so we felt very comfortable. The only drawbacks: -The bathroom was very small, the shower so small that you couldn't wash your feet without kicking your feet. -You could feel every spring in the mattresses. Unfortunately, reception couldn't really help us, as putting an extra sheet underneath didn't help. We ended up finding two sun lounger cushions ourselves. Perhaps it's a good idea to have mattress toppers on hand for such cases. -What I also found very disappointing were the pool times. Since we're motorcyclists and were usually out until 2 p.m., we would have liked to cool off in the pool then, but it wasn't allowed until 4 p.m. It would have been nice if there were a bit more flexibility, especially since the hotel only had adults at that time.

18/10/2025: Excellent for relaxing! Great location, close to the beach and the mountains. Good breakfast buffet and a very nice atmosphere!

02/05/2026: Finally, a place that can be counted on one hand in all of Sardinia. NO Argentine shrimp NO calamari from other continents NO "fake" fried sea bream Fair prices and generous portions. Everything is exceptional, the stuffed mussels are incredible. We'll see you again, thank you so much.

01/03/2026: Small place, outdoor in the summer. Excellent food, both delicious fish and meat. Wide selection of wines, generous appetizers and first courses, and main courses as well. Some dishes are finished by the waiter right in front of you. The staff is kind and welcoming, you feel right at home!!! WONDERFUL

14/12/2025: Perhaps one of the best restaurants we've been to. This restaurant has the friendliest waiters and a welcoming atmosphere. And the food is excellent.

11/04/2026: The rooms have nice furniture and are clean. The staff is kind of relaxed and doesn't care much about customers. No wifi in the room. Breakfast is basics. The beach is far away, you need to take the car.

06/05/2026: We stayed at this property for two days around May 1st in the "romantic" suite, with half-board. The room has a breathtaking sea view, is spacious, and the amenities are top-notch. A bottle of Prosecco welcomed us. I'd like to point out that there was a problem with the pool, but that can happen at the beginning of the season, and when it does, the professionalism and expertise of a property shines through. In our case, we resolved the issue impeccably. A big thank you to the staff, from the floor lady to the reception staff, but undeniable praise goes to the restaurant staff: discreet, professional, never intrusive, but absolutely pleasant and knowledgeable. 13/04/2026: Absolutely top-notch restaurant! Welcome = friendly, family atmosphere Service = 100% Food = 100% Price = very reasonable Forget the negative reviews, they are completely unjustified. The restaurant has been around for over 50 years, run by father and son. The owner speaks German, which makes things easier for some tourists :) Various pasta dishes are homemade by Mamma. 10/04/2026: The host was very friendly; we were even greeted and bid farewell with a handshake, but that's where the positive experience ended. The server clearly didn't enjoy her job, and the food unfortunately wasn't what I expected from Sardinian cuisine in a less well-known establishment. Others do it much better. Sorry, but that's not enough for me.

02/10/2025: A small, inconspicuous but very fine shop in Tortoli. Here you can find homemade pastries (dolce) at fair prices. For me, Todde is the best shop for dolce in the area. My recommendation and favorite are the pastries with zabaglione filling. Definitely try them.
