23/03/2025: We just left (reluctantly) from the restaurant 🤣 my husband and I love grilled meat, I've been following the restaurant's IG page for months and today that we are in Tortolì we wanted to take the opportunity to have lunch there... what can I say: they didn't disappoint us! We had the bone marrow as an appetizer... it's out of this world!!! You absolutely have to try it. The platter wasn't bad either, but if we went back I would probably order more tapas. I continued with carpaccio and baked potatoes and my husband with picanha and potatoes. This was also all superb, to finish with an excellent seada, truly exquisite! Klaudio served us and was very kind: he was able to suggest the choice of the best courses according to our tastes. Highly recommended! I would go back immediately!

11/03/2025: Sono stata per un pranzo di famiglia sabato in questo locale, che dire.. totalmente soddisfatti in tutto! Gentilezza e professionalità del cameriere Klaudio (spero di non ricordarmi male il suo nome ) che con pazienza è riuscito a accontentare tutte le nostre varie esigenze! Ottimo per famiglie anche con bambini che amano la carne, mio figlio già mi chiede quando torniamo in Sardegna per rimangiare qui, io essendo celiaca ho avuto tutte le spiegazioni del caso e sono super preparati anche per il senza glutine. Vino e mirto eccellenti .. consigliamo i culurgiones arrosto che quando li assaggi qui non li mangi da altre parti e poi il top del top la carne.. abbiamo fatto un assaggio misto di varie tipologie.. una più buona dell’altra! Torneremo sicuramente da voi! E vi ringraziamo per averci fatto fare un pranzo di carne al TOP ! Continuate così!

25/01/2025: Excellent restaurant. The owner is very helpful and kind. Especially with children. We ate a selection of local cured meats and cheeses, very abundant and particularly good. Cured meats that melted in your mouth. Then we took the malloreddu and culurgiones which were amazing. All washed down with an excellent bottle of Vermentino.

08/02/2025: Atteggiamento un po troppo "borghese" da parte del personale, ma non perché non ci stia un po di stile, ma semplicemente per il fatto che in quell ambiente, in quel contesto era a dir poco una forzatura, siate voi stessi, la spontaneità e genuinità delle persone molte volte è decisamente più apprezzata di qualsiasi cosa. Ma veniamo alla cena (premetto che nel complesso non era male) ma c'è stata un presa in giro che non mi è piaciuta, maialetto con patate arrosto come contorno, bene il contorno c'è costato ben 80 euro. 8€x10persone. Ho capito che siamo bella blu zone, però ragazzi le patate son patate, e da unico sardo nel tavolo mi sono imbarazzato nel leggere quei 80€ per una vassoio di patate arrosto messo a centro tavola. Direi che in quel contesto ambientale tra i più belli in assoluto nell isola, con un cibo genuino che quella terra può dare, con un pochino più di onestà si potrebbero fare grandi cose. Mi dispiace ma non credo di ritornare o se tornerò spero ci si sia messi un po in carreggiata. Saluti

16/10/2024: Typical restaurant in the area where you absolutely must stop by. Located on the other floor of the Golgo, the products you can taste here are the result of true Sardinian tradition. Stunning location, excellent service, the guy who served me at the table was very knowledgeable and kind. The Baunesi culurgiones are a delight. The wine produced by them is a fairy tale. On my return to Baunei it will be an obligatory stop

06/12/2024: A Caprese like I have rarely seen so cheaply. Tomatoes unripe tasteless. Then a bistecca which should be medium. It was probably more raw than anything else. The service was okay but overwhelmed and the prices are okay. But I never recommend this restaurant.

05/11/2024: A large selection of dishes, including, what is important for me, traditional local dishes. Tasty. Nicely served. Affordable prices. Very nice service. It's definitely worth coming and trying something.

07/11/2024: Siamo stati in questa pizzeria una sera di luglio con un gruppo di amici. L’ambiente è informale con una buona scelta di pizze appetitose e ben condite. Il menù presenta anche qualche altro piatto ma le pizze vanno per la maggiore. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato

31/12/2024: We stayed two days using a Smartbox box; upon our arrival, we were welcomed by the owners Giampaolo and Anna, lovely and hospitable people who immediately made us feel at home! The dinner, plentiful and tasty, was made up of homemade products, typical of Ogliastra, accompanied by an excellent wine that Mr. Giampaolo produces like he used to! Comfortable and spotless rooms, as is the entire structure. We enjoyed a beautiful landscape in a place rich in history, between the sea and the mountains... we will return!

10/11/2024: Just returned, a beautiful weekend in an oasis of peace and tranquility, Paolo and his lady always kind and available for anything you need, the beautiful and welcoming place is very suitable for those who want to disconnect and stay in a magical place in contact with nature. The food was good and plentiful, typical of the area, expertly cooked by the friendly owners. The rooms are clean and welcoming and equipped with everything, the only flaw, but in a few days they will be installed in all the rooms, the TV is missing, for the rest, go there and you won't regret it. 😊

27/09/2024: The rooms are large. However, the bathroom and the anteroom to the bathroom smelled very bad. There were also strange marks on the wall. Breakfast was okay. Coffee, however, terrible for Italian standards.

10/03/2025: We first had a mixed salad and baked potatoes and then 2 pizzas, everything was wonderful, the pizzas had the typical Neapolitan dough, very fluffy and great taste, the starters were also very tasty, cozy atmosphere! They had a house wine for 5 dl only €6, this was also excellent! We would come back!

17/03/2025: Located in front of an artificial lake, surrounded by incredible nature, this place is enchanting. It brings peace and tranquility. The structure entirely in stone, very welcoming and with kind and hospitable staff, complete the positivity of this place to stay or just simply enjoy the excellent characteristic food of the place. Excellent cold cuts appetizers, such as homemade pasta. Very good second course of meat. Well cooked and with the right portions. Very good desserts, always characteristic Sardinian. We will definitely return.

01/03/2025: I had a lot of expectations from you when we came from Cagliari to try you out. So we traveled 300 km. We arrived and met a girl who worked for you and she seated us. He brings us the menu and we started choosing. To drink a beer and a coke A tartare with egg and truffle. A grand prize asked for 1 kg A double hamburger sandwich A side dish of baked potatoes A coffee at the end Total 92 euros Let's go in order: professional waitress who did her job impeccably, satisfying us on everything. Good food but we didn't leave with a (wow) we ate well, the meat was good but I expected it to be more tender given that it was cooked rare and less fibrous. Many parts had fibers which prevented me from eating it peacefully and was very annoying. Perfectly rare, but I think the griddle on which it is served kills the tenderness of the meat, so much so that if you don't eat it quickly, it continues to cook and harden. I really liked the tartare. My partner found the sandwich very good and I agree too after trying it with a bite. The side dish was not satisfactory due to the lack of transparency on the cooking method. They were baked potatoes but it should be said that they are in the skin and made differently from the usual ones that everyone expects from oven cooking. In segments so to speak. In any case, good. I have 4 negative notes or at least personal notes: 1) I believe a side dish should be assigned with the purchase of a steak given the price paid. 2) carrying food across the street on a rainy day like the one found, wets the food brought to the table. I believe it is also a non-compliance of a culinary nature as it is not good in terms of hygiene. 3) the weight of the meat is always in excess and never underweight. I advise you to communicate any type of weight other than the one chosen. It's called transparency. In the end I had to ask you after giving me the receipt. 4) bathroom uncomfortable to reach and I feel sorry for those who cannot reach it safely. Work tools all grouped together awaiting completion of the work. I don't think I'll go back and I don't feel like recommending it.

20/02/2025: Although my love for Ogliastra might risk making my review non-objective, I can confirm that the food is excellent and the quality of the dishes is excellent, I like the place a lot and the staff is kind and welcoming.

16/10/2024: Quando venivo in Sardegna negli anni 70, di ristoranti pochi e senpre con porceddu. poco pesce e cucinato semplicemente. Ora +è tutto cambiato anche se non sempre, vista l materia fresca presente, il risultato culinario è all'altezza. Alla cantonera (vecchia casa cantoniera) lungo la linea ferroviaria a scartamento ridotto che parte dal vicino porto di Arbatax, si trova un'ottima cucina di mare e non, con qualche rivisitazione ma sempre ben riuscita. Ottima frittira di mare che si scioglie in bocca e primi gustosi e prelibati. IL personale all'altezza salvo magari qualche confidenza di troppo e una maggiore velocità nel servizio. Ma sono dettagli. Parcheggio di fronte . E' anche un hotel di un certo livello. Vicino cè la sughereta parco pubblico con giochi bimbi.

06/10/2024: We had dinner, a mix of appetizers, Catalan-style tuna, mussels in sauce, octopus and potato salad, prawn with pistachio crust and salmon meatball, they were not bad, but very commercial, the meatball did not taste of salmon at all, two first courses, and fried fish, I expected much more from this restaurant, as it was described to me very well. In part it disappointed me.

21/09/2024: We came by here on our tour and made a stop. Very nicely located in the pine forest and on the beautiful beach. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The prices are completely okay.

04/09/2024: Wonderful place, Salvatore welcomes you and makes you feel special. I have never eaten such good seadas, not to mention grilled fish. If you pass by here don't miss it!
