I'm writing this review with such a full stomach that the last bite is hard to swallow! 😂❤️ The restaurant is simply incredible. Upon arrival, a kind gentleman greeted us and advised us to just go with the flow (we figured that out by feel, as he only spoke Italian! 😂). From there, a series of amazing dishes followed, made with fresh, local ingredients. We didn't know how many courses would arrive or exactly what we were being served, but no regrets whatsoever! I highly recommend it. €33 per person = local cheese + vegetable plate with olive oil + local charcuterie + local bread and a plate of gnocchi with a sort of homemade "Bolognese sauce," followed by a plate of cheese ravioli, I'd say 😅, then a plate of lemon meringue and a coffee ☕️, and to finish, a digestif 😍😍😍

We accidentally came here when it was closed and they were so nice they served us anyways(we were the only guests). Brought us a ton of amazing food and drinks until we couldn’t move and sent us home with additional local drinks to go. Great people, great food, great experience. Highly recommend.

We opted for the Sardinian specialties menu at €33, which included drinks, antipasti (vegetables and cured meats), and a trio of pasta dishes: three different types of pasta! Finally, fruit and a small dessert. Everything was delicious, and the chef was charming! This restaurant deserves to be better known. We left completely satisfied!

For the past three years, we've spent three weeks each year on our Sardinia tour – and every year we've returned to this restaurant in Urzulei, nestled in the mountains. It feels like it's in the middle of nowhere, deep in the mountains, and that's precisely what makes it so special. An absolute dream. Here, good, honest cuisine is still paramount. This family-run business, managed by the owner's mother, radiates so much warmth. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with passion and tradition. Everything is fresh, authentic, and prepared with incredible love. In three years of Sardinia, we haven't eaten as well anywhere else. It's always a highlight of our trip and has become a fixed part of our itinerary. If you're looking for genuine Sardinian cuisine, warmth, and quality, this is the place to be. For us, it's one of the best places on the entire island. We'll be back. 🥰❤️
