11/03/2026: I'll make it short. We sit down at the table for lunch to celebrate my birthday. Ten, twenty, thirty, forty, and almost fifty minutes pass and no one (let me start by saying it was just my wife and I)—I repeat, no one—shows up to let us order. After almost fifty minutes, I show up at the other end of the room and ask if they can serve us. No apologies, just a single "I'm coming!" A few more minutes later, we decide to leave, quite annoyed. I'm truly sorry, but this is disrespectful to tourists. Luckily, there are plenty of places to have lunch.
For your information and for future tourists, try not to get too carried away, because at 11:45 I approached someone inside the business and was told the place would open at 12:10, exactly the time we entered. Furthermore, some of the owners or their representatives came in several times and saw us. It's much better to admit I made a mistake than to cling to the mirrors. PS: I wanted to avoid writing this counter-response, but it doesn't seem right (for those who follow my reviews) to be taken for an unfair person. Having written this, I wish you good luck.
09/03/2026: We enjoyed excellent Sardinian specialties and the service was very attentive. A truly wonderful lunch. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

05/02/2026: A very authentic restaurant in Orgosolo, offering traditional Sardinian dishes made with high-quality local products. Everything we tried was genuinely good, with flavors that reflect the territory. Prices are slightly on the higher side. A great place to enjoy true Sardinian cuisine.
I definitely recommend trying lados, a traditional pasta typical of Orgosolo that you can only find there, they are quite filling, so it’s a good idea to share them.

31/12/2025: This was the best carbonara I’ve had so far in Sardinia.(We’ve been here already 10days now)
You can choose the portion size you prefer, and the flavor was exactly to my taste—absolutely perfect.
It was a rainy night, and most places were closed. From the outside, the restaurant looked more like a pub, and inside, loud hard rock music was playing, so at first I lowered my expectations.
But it turned into one of the most pleasant surprises I’ve had in a long time.
You could really feel that the staff were providing genuine, heartfelt service.

24/02/2026: I went to this restaurant with my family on Carnival Sunday, having booked a week in advance. The place was very quaint, and the food was excellent. The set menu included meat-based appetizers, a first course of ricotta ravioli with pork pulp, and a second course of suckling pig with a truly well-cooked rind that tasted like butter. Salads, water and wine, and carasau bread included.
The price was excellent, only €40.00.
The dessert was delicious, with excellent tiramisu and crème caramel.
The staff was efficient and friendly, what more can I say?

03/10/2025: Beautiful rooms, good location, great pool area. Very clean and friendly. Compared to other B&Bs, the attention to detail was somewhat lacking (e.g., plastic cups at breakfast). However, it's still highly recommended.
27/09/2025: A beautiful location with very friendly staff. You're truly pampered, and breakfast is served at your table, perfectly balanced. Personally, I find it a shame that there's no cozy seating area in the room, just a picnic table. It's also a shame that there aren't decent cushions on the loungers by the pool. That would give the pool a completely different feel. But otherwise, everything was great!

29/09/2025: BiblioPizza is absolutely fantastic. The pizzeria was recommended to us by the lady at reception (Laura F.) of the Euro Hotel. Let me just say, it's one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. It's a small place with only a small dining area, but in the warmer months they set up tables in the adjacent square. The menu is relatively small and straightforward. Just pizza, of course. The pizza is served on a paper plate with plastic cutlery, and the wine comes in plastic cups. After eating, customers are asked to separate their own trash and dispose of it in the provided bins. There are also some recycling bins tucked away in the small dining area. It's so basic that it's simply brilliant. The server, I think the young man's name is Matteo (?), is super friendly, speaks fluent English, and is incredibly efficient. And the prices are unbelievable. Like in Germany twenty years ago. We went there four times in total. Always fantastic!

24/11/2025: Passing through Nuoro for work, with little time for lunch, I went in with the idea of a simple sandwich. I was offered a beef sandwich, and I decided to give it a try—I couldn't have made a better choice. I was served within minutes, and the quality of both the bread and the meat was excellent. The staff was super professional and friendly. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

16/02/2026: The hotel is centrally located, just a minute's drive from all directions to the surrounding towns. Team Leader Alessandra is very helpful, pleasant to chat with, and has a wealth of local knowledge. Franca and the rest of the team are truly helpful, proactive, and ready to help with anything. The hotel is spotless and has excellent air conditioning!
The restaurant is truly excellent in terms of seating, cleanliness, and aesthetics, with top-quality, practically zero-mile food and generous portions at truly reasonable prices. The wood-fired pizzeria also serves truly excellent pizzas, both in quality and quantity!
In short, for those looking for a comfortable stay with excellent traditional cuisine, you can't miss Sa Orte... trust me, you won't regret it... 👏👏👏👏👏
