28/09/2025: After a motorcycle tour of the island of San Pietro, we stopped at this little restaurant in Carloforte, recommended to us by a local bar. It was a great choice. I also loved the menu I'd seen by chance, which seemed appropriate. Tuna and octopus for an appetizer, a trofie pasta with a tuna pesto whose aroma alone made it worth a second try, a grilled tuna dish worthy of a true saltimbocca, and wine to suit your taste. What can I say about the service? Excellent and attentive, and prices in line with the location. For those who want it, it's just a stone's throw from the ferry. Beautiful day.

20/09/2025: We stopped for dinner one evening, intrigued by the presence of so many locals, and we had a great time. The service was friendly and informal, the menu featured tuna, tuna, and also delicious spaghetti with bottarga. The wine list wasn't overly extensive, but, on Elisa's recommendation, we tried an excellent Nuragus. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

27/09/2025: I apologize for the elevator, I didn't know, but I only described what I saw, as a tourist, not as a local, I wanted to pay with the POS, I was told that I had to go down the stairs, so I preferred to pay cash.... and arriving a little earlier the blue parking spaces are paid

16/06/2025: Io e mio marito abbiamo voluto assaggiare il pesce crudo in questo ristorante perché ci è stato consigliato da molti abitanti locali. Abbiamo quindi preso: 6 gamberi rossi di seconda scelta (la prima purtroppo non c'era), 4 scampi, due ostriche e una tartare di tonno eccezionale. Buon sapore e prezzo leggermente più alto rispetto ad altri ristoranti ma vale per l'attenta cura del locale. (35€ gamberi, 14€ scampi e 8€ ostriche). Abbiamo proseguito con un fritto misto, buono, giusta porzione ma niente di eccezionale e gli spiedini di pesce spada. Questi ultimi devo dire, che ci hanno sorpreso perché erano davvero ottimi e morbidi. Abbiamo concluso con due seadas (fatte in casa) davvero spettacolari. Due bottiglie d'acqua e una coca cola, totale 139€. Abbiamo dovuto attendere circa mezz'ora prima della prima portata ma un cameriere si è accorto della nostra attesa senza che dicessessimo nulla, e ha provveduto a farci servire. Il resto della cena è continuato con giusti tempi. Sicuramente un ristorante da provare.

15/06/2025: Molto buono il pesce e l’attenzione al cliente e stata adeguata, anche il rapporto qualità prezzo è senza dubbio corretto, merita una visita.

26/09/2025: In my opinion, the restaurant deserves more stars than the list here indicates. We got a table for lunch without a reservation, an hour before closing time. We ordered a mixed salad, spaghetti vongole, and pasticcio alla Carlofortina. We accompanied it with a light white wine, as recommended by the owner. The dishes were freshly prepared, and the aroma alone promised a great meal. The portions were truly plentiful. The value for money was good. However, I would like to point out that a low price shouldn't be the basis for a good meal. Much more important is the lasting taste experience. And for that, I say thank you very much. 18/09/2025: Don’t go there. First we waited 10minutes with the waiter ignoring us completely. After receiving the menu and ordering we’ve waited over an hour and the food still didn’t arrive. The restaurant was almost completely empty with just 4 tables taken!

30/08/2025: A small place that needs some updating. We ate in a charming outdoor courtyard with fake grass on the walls, which, however, served to muffle the noise from the adjacent street. We were there on August 24th. Friendly staff, light, thin-crust pizza with excellent dough. Very fair prices. We'll definitely be back.

26/10/2025: A Big Disappointment at Mario & Pinela – Calasapone (Sant'Antioco) I've known Mario and Pinela for over 40 years, ever since they started at Coequaddus. Originally from Sant'Antioco, I come here several times a year to see my family, and I've always enjoyed stopping by their place. But this time, what a disappointment... We went to their Calasapone establishment two days ago: there was only one couple there, no menu displayed, and no prices listed. We ordered two Ichnusa Limone beers and asked for a snack. The result: a simple piece of melted grilled pecorino... and a bill of 25 euros. Frankly, at that price, it's understandable why the island's restaurants are gradually emptying out. If tourists are being charged the same amount, it's no wonder Sant'Antioco is losing its old-world charm. In other bars on the island, the prices are clear, posted, and remain the same for everyone. Honestly, it would be nice if the Finanza would come and take a look, because operating without posting prices is simply wrong and prohibited. To answer you, sir, you are dishonest!! And your numerous reviews attest to that 😥 I am not a tourist, and your actions are punishable. Yes, it was windy, and you charged us 25 euros. You can't verify this since you didn't give a "scontrino."

11/11/2025: I have coffee and croissant here most mornings. My Italian is very weak, but the beautiful ladies who work there are always very kind and patient with my poor language skills. After a few visits, they had memorized my order. They often see me coming through their window, and have my order ready and waiting for me by the time I reach the counter. The place is small. The menu. is simple. I sit at a table 10 meters from the sea, overlooking the fishing boats, enjoying my coffee and croissant. It doesn’t get better than this.

20/09/2025: Today, for our wedding anniversary, we booked spaghetti alla corsara, and the chef left us speechless with the exquisiteness of this special dish she prepared for us, accompanied by a stunning sunset over the sea. There are too few stars; we should give it 10. Thank you.

07/11/2025: This review concerns the parking lot, which lacks disabled parking spaces, effectively forcing you to pay for parking as there are no other spaces available for beach access in the immediate vicinity.

19/10/2025: I had a really good time. A place with welcoming and informal staff and owner. I had a delicious grilled pork accompanied by a marinara pizza!! 😏 It's a shame I was here at the end of October and they only open on Friday and Saturday evenings, so no homemade desserts, but that's okay. They don't deliver, but takeout is available. In my opinion, the interior is truly beautiful, warm, and welcoming. There's plenty of parking, and in the summer they even have a space reserved for campers. The entrance is convenient, even for wheelchair users.
