27/03/2026: We discovered Il Corsaro in Carloforte on the beautiful island of San Pietro, Sardinia—and it quickly became our favorite spot. We’ve visited many times over the years, often with friends, and every single visit has been consistently excellent. The food is simply outstanding. From their delicious pizzas (including unique fried pizzas) to fresh panini, juicy hamburgers, and some of the best calamari fritti we’ve ever had—everything we’ve tried has been full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. Even after trying many other restaurants on the island, we always find ourselves happily returning to Il Corsaro. A special mention goes to the wonderful chef Anna, whose passion and skill truly make the experience memorable every time. Highly recommended!

13/03/2026: I had a business lunch break on a trip. The menu was affordable, and I left feeling full. Really not bad, considering the food is cooked to order and served at your table. I highly recommend it. There's ample parking in front.

18/08/2025: A very family-friendly atmosphere, well-maintained, with excellent homemade food. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The pool area is lovely. The location, surrounded by greenery, is excellent for easily reaching the most beautiful beaches.

11/01/2026: I rarely leave bad reviews, but at this restaurant we ordered 3 first courses and 3 second courses. All the dishes we ordered were not good. It's a shame for the staff, who are also kind.

16/06/2025: Io e mio marito abbiamo voluto assaggiare il pesce crudo in questo ristorante perché ci è stato consigliato da molti abitanti locali. Abbiamo quindi preso: 6 gamberi rossi di seconda scelta (la prima purtroppo non c'era), 4 scampi, due ostriche e una tartare di tonno eccezionale. Buon sapore e prezzo leggermente più alto rispetto ad altri ristoranti ma vale per l'attenta cura del locale. (35€ gamberi, 14€ scampi e 8€ ostriche). Abbiamo proseguito con un fritto misto, buono, giusta porzione ma niente di eccezionale e gli spiedini di pesce spada. Questi ultimi devo dire, che ci hanno sorpreso perché erano davvero ottimi e morbidi. Abbiamo concluso con due seadas (fatte in casa) davvero spettacolari. Due bottiglie d'acqua e una coca cola, totale 139€. Abbiamo dovuto attendere circa mezz'ora prima della prima portata ma un cameriere si è accorto della nostra attesa senza che dicessessimo nulla, e ha provveduto a farci servire. Il resto della cena è continuato con giusti tempi. Sicuramente un ristorante da provare.

15/06/2025: Molto buono il pesce e l’attenzione al cliente e stata adeguata, anche il rapporto qualità prezzo è senza dubbio corretto, merita una visita.

12/03/2026: I was invited to lunch today by a friend and I must say that thanks to him I discovered an excellent restaurant. I ate Ravioli and Mutton with sauce which was so tender that it melted in my mouth. Congratulations, I will be back as soon as possible.

30/01/2026: The staff were extremely kind and attentive. The only major flaw was the food. We ordered the mussel soup (the accompanying sauce was excellent, but the mussels were probably overcooked) and then the trio of appetizers. We were speechless; we weren't happy with any of the dishes; they were tasteless, and some were truly absurd for the price (crackers with 2 or 3 mussels on top, also "dry," and freshly chopped tomatoes). I'm sorry, but we were expecting much, much more. It's a shame, but nothing was good. It's a shame everything else was exceptional.

23/11/2025: Perfect location, professional staff, and amazing cuisine! We had an excellent stay at Hotel Artu. The location is fantastic: the hotel is very central and directly overlooks Piazza Sella, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The staff was welcoming, helpful, and professional. The room was clean, with a modern, recently renovated, and comfortably sized bathroom. The restaurant deserves special mention: excellent Italian breakfast and a mushroom-based lunch that turned out exceptional. The cuisine was refined and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

06/04/2026: Very questionable value for money. I don't know what the average prices are (in the city), but even if they were medium-high, for the quantity and quality of these dishes, they're not worth it. The first courses were OK, the second courses were very small portions and very overpriced (fried calamari, maybe 5 pieces, not even 1 whole calamari, €40). Furthermore, the latter were tasteless and the quality of the fish wasn't top-notch. The vegetables were the same. The service was decent, the plus point being that it was fast. Smiles and kindness were lacking. We won't be returning.

11/11/2025: I have coffee and croissant here most mornings. My Italian is very weak, but the beautiful ladies who work there are always very kind and patient with my poor language skills. After a few visits, they had memorized my order. They often see me coming through their window, and have my order ready and waiting for me by the time I reach the counter. The place is small. The menu. is simple. I sit at a table 10 meters from the sea, overlooking the fishing boats, enjoying my coffee and croissant. It doesn’t get better than this.
