21/08/2025: I should start by saying I was aware I was paying a lot for a room on the August bank holiday. But paying €220 and staying in a room with old furniture and a broken shower doesn't seem right at all. It's all about saving money, both in how they fixed the shower (with a crumbling, unhygienic curtain) and especially in the breakfast. It's the first time in my life I've paid so much and breakfast is rationed. I don't think it's normal that croissants are cut in half and served based on the number of people coming to breakfast. I'm not saying everyone should be spoiled for choice at breakfast, but if I wanted to eat more than one croissant, I should be able to, especially considering how much I paid for just one night. I'm sorry, that's not how you work.

18/08/2025: Amazing stay. Location is incredible. La Caletta is the place to be, comes alive in the late evening and all the locals turn up until night. Definitely the tourist place to be. Stalls pop-up selling tourist items and jewelry. The hotel is minutes walk from the beach, near 3 grocery stores and tons of food/desert places. The family that runs this place is incredibly kind and helpful. Ask them questions, ask for advice on things to do. They are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Most staff speak good English. They gave us things that we asked for such as a thicker blanket, a kettle and disposable cutlery for free. The rooms are great. Large, well cleaned, good views, excellent air conditioning, good views. Many reviews call the walls thin which is true but normal for hotels. I never overheard much or felt uncomfortable from noise. The shower is also small and I did elbow the glass walls a few times before I got used to being in there. Unless you plan to shower with your partner or are obese it shouldn't be an issue.

27/08/2025: I still haven't figured out how much a macchiato costs in this bar with no service..??? A young girl and a cute, petite lady charged us €2.40 for two coffees, and they even served us at the table. And we thank them, they were truly excellent. The third woman charged us €2.60 for the same macchiato, without service. She's not asking for a 20 cent difference... But she's also unpleasant. For two weeks, morning and evening, we ordered macchiatos, saying that macchiatos are €2.60 (for two coffees), only she... So, tell me the price of the macchiato? 🤣🤣🤣

16/07/2025: Patron très accueillant (parle italien, anglais et français) La cuisine est tellement bonne que nous y sommes allés deux soirs d’affilée, service assez rapide et nous avons été prévenu lorsqu’un plat allait m’être plus de temps à être préparer. Nous hésitons à y retourner une troisième fois mais le patron va penser qu’on le harcèle.

08/07/2025: Questa sera, tra tante abbiamo scelto questa trattoria e direi che ci è andata benone. Io ho preso un piatto insolito, razza con il pecorino, rivelatasi ottima e mio marito le cozze. Quindi calamaro alla griglia per me e fritto misto per lui: soprattutto questo piatto era abbondante ma leggero, saporito con molto anelli di calamaro, due gamberoni e due pezzi grandi di pesce. Per concludere due buonissime seadas e un vinello della casa fruttato e delizioso. Prezzo onestissimo. Abbiamo un solo rimpianto, averlo scoperto l' ultima sera.

03/09/2025: We went to an event organized by the hotel, "Mailletto allo spiedo" (Spit-roasted pork), last night. It was a fantastic evening with live music. We ate very well, and the staff was young and fast. The atmosphere was refined and clean, and the service was excellent. The prices were reasonable. We paid €28 each, but because it was a reservation-only event, it included a set menu. On the beach, under the pine trees. Spacious and welcoming. I don't usually write reviews (I just read them), but this time they deserved a 5-star rating. I wish all the staff good luck and keep up the good work. I absolutely recommend it.

29/08/2025: The pinewood bar of the restaurant of the same name across the street. We've been there twice, and I must say, with mixed results. Once, we had two cocktails and paid the full price; the second time, we had a quick lunch on the way back from the beach. The bill was decidedly steep, plus service and cover charge. Two swordfish steaks, two green salads, two beers, for almost €70. The staff were extremely friendly.

06/09/2025: A quick bite to eat right by the beautiful La Pelosa beach. The food is served quickly, and the staff is very communicative and friendly. The gentlemen behind the bar and in the kitchen are bustling around like ants. They got a tip for it 😉 The food is quite tasty. It's a good idea to choose a table right by the railing, which gives you a stunning view of the beach. Some tables and chairs are placed on the sand, which is a bit inconvenient. They close quickly, making it impossible to enjoy a cozy dinner.

30/08/2025: We had a decent meal with a lovely view. The problem came when we got the bill. Despite the waiter making the mistake of bringing us fries we hadn't ordered, which we immediately pointed out, the lady (I think the owner) at the cash register didn't listen to a fuss and charged us for the dish we hadn't ordered. All in a rude manner. Nice place, nice location, but feeling cheated isn't acceptable; it seems like a classic tourist trap.

14/07/2025: Unfortunately, it tasted like frozen food. The quantity was okay, on the smaller side. We ordered gnocchi, but what we got was basically pasta. I have no idea if it was a type of gnocchi, but it certainly wasn't classic. It tasted like pasta. In general, it's confusing, with the tables belonging to which restaurant... And there were an awful lot of flies and pigeons, which were very annoying. Reaction to the answer: Okay, you're right. I didn't know that. I was just pointing it out. But that doesn't change the other "shortcomings." Thank you anyway.

13/07/2025: There were flies in the food and drinks. When we pointed out the contaminated food, the owner said it was part of nature and insisted we pay.

11/09/2025: We went to Cesare in Villasimius on our first evening and had such a great time that we returned the second time! The first time, we enjoyed a truly excellent seafood dinner: fresh mussels, a delicious first course, and a flavorful grilled meat. The kids chose the thin, crispy pizza and a Milanese cutlet with fries, which was a big hit. To finish, the desserts were exquisite. The following evening, we returned for a pizza dinner, and it was absolutely second to none: light, well-cooked, and very digestible. The staff is extremely friendly, the waiter is pleasant and attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent.

03/09/2025: The food is okay, but not great either. They brought the pizzas for 4 people after 5 minutes. And the other two main courses took 25 minutes. The salad that was ordered with a pizza was then brought with the pasta after I asked again. No coordination in the kitchen. And when you ask them about it, they still have a stupid answer. Not recommended.

19/08/2025: I've only been there twice, on my way to the beach and back. When I was coming back from the beach, the guy standing there watching the room behind me shouted some swear words that Google doesn't allow. Right after we said goodbye, I turned around, and so did one of his colleagues who was on break. Since no one else had passed by besides me, I don't know who else he would have shouted at... Very arrogant. For lunch, I'd rather go up to the center than get anything here. Not even a coffee.

15/08/2025: Great view, good food, cleanliness, very friendly staff. Congratulations for the efficient organization of the entire staff, not easy to find in a beach bar.

19/07/2025: Horrible expérience ce soir dans cet établissement où règne le chaos. Service déplorable et attente exagérée pour, au final, des plats d’une qualité bien médiocre. À oublier dans un endroit où les bons restaurants ne manquent pas. Celui-ci est vraiment à déconseiller. Première et dernière fois.

10/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante per ben due volte dato che ci siamo trovati davvero bene la prima volta! La prima sera abbiamo assaggiato pietanze di carne ed erano a dir poco squisite, la seconda sera invece abbiamo assaggiato il pesce e preso la grigliata di pesce che era fuori menù. Anche i vini sono eccezionali. Inoltre l’atmosfera molto accogliente dei camerieri e dalla titolare hanno reso le serate davvero piacevoli e divertenti! Alla fine della cena abbiamo bevuto tutti insieme un mirto, offerto gentilmente da loro, davvero un’atmosfera bellissima! Assolutamente da provare! Se passate a San Teodoro non perdete l’occasione di fermarvi in questo piccolo angolo di paradiso!

09/07/2025: Ristorante fuori Baja Sardinia. Non si prenota ma si mangia secondo ordine di arrivo. Prezzi onesti con pizze che vanno dai 5 ai 9 euro. Pesce e carne. Spaghetti abbondanti per i miei figli ( porzioni molto generose) ma carbonara con panna anche no. Buono antipasto mare ma la nota dolente è stata attesa di quasi un' ora per me e mia moglie. Attendevamo uno spaghetto vongole e una grigliata. Agli altri tavoli ho visto una risposta più veloce. Entrato dopo di me e usciti nettamente prima. Mi dispiace ma ciò è intollerabile perché mi ha scombussolato la serata. Seadas ne ho mangiate di migliori.

02/07/2025: Siamo arrivato qui ingannati da una fila interminabile, una volta seduti è arrivato il cameriere che ci ha servito il pane che non era per niente fresco. Abbiamo ordinato dei gnocchetti sardi completamente esenti da sale e pasta scotta con salsa acida. Come secondi ci hanno servito carne completamente cruda nonostante avessimo chiesto cottura media. Carne con contorno arrivata con patatine quelle confezionate tipo san carlo e verdure grigliate con consistenza plasticosa, non erano nè cotte e neanche condite, esasperati abbiamo chiesto il conto e ci siamo trovati una porzione di pasta in piu per un errore del cameriere che nonostante si sia scusato alla cassa comunque l abbiamo dovuta pagare.

23/04/2025: A volte non si capisce: abbiamo preso sia pesce che carne, aldilà che purtroppo è un ristorante molto caro,ma una persona pagherebbe anche se: Le porzioni fossero adeguate al prezzo, invece sono scarse I cibi che dovrebbero arrivare caldi fossero ben riscaldati, e non secchi e freddi, Non si dovesse attendere un sacco di tempo, la cucina è molto lenta, Io consiglierei di cambiare chi cucina, ovviamente se è un parente diventa difficile, ma di sicuro noi cambieremo ristorante...

09/09/2025: I ate at Tartarughino six times this summer, from June to last night, September 8th. Yesterday I was alone with my son and we ordered: two bottles of water, a focaccia, a portion of zucchini flowers, a portion of cod, a suppli, two elephant ears, and the bill was €115: correct. For the first time this year, the bill was correct. This morning, looking at my phone, I realized they charged €150 to my debit card, and I felt cheated yet again. The previous times, all five times, the bill included extra dishes and drinks or prices different from those displayed, making it inflated for no reason. Each time, we called the staff and had them correct it, although it seems strange that when the bill is wrong, every time due to errors, it never happens that something is forgotten, but only extra things, but whatever. Yesterday, however, the "mistake" was made on the POS, a POS that was held high without showing the amount, and I only noticed the expense this morning. Keep them; you'll need them for your medicine, and they won't be enough, especially for the waitress who "mistakenly" typed the money and who seemed a little pale to me.

03/09/2025: We had dinner at the restaurant last week. It wasn’t very crowded, the atmosphere was pretty calm, and it’s not like the waiters were overwhelmed. The food was fine. However, they charged us for three bottles of water instead of two. We pointed it out, and they canceled the bill. Now, a week later, we just found out they charged us twice for the whole meal. When we call the restaurant, they either hang up, transfer us to someone else, or simply brush us off without paying attention. Total scammers.
