21/05/2026: Booked a trip with D-reizen, who had "arranged" this for us via Expedia. Description:
A dark shack from the 1970s with various defects. NO restaurant present, but a hall where, for a fee of €15 pp, you could get a few stale rolls, small croissants, a slice of dry cheese, and ham.
The pool was fine, not a soul in sight except the Colombian lifeguard, a nice, albeit overly talkative man.
Also, upon arrival, we first had to pay a €280 and €100 deposit with the message: "Welcome to Italy."
For us, Expedia and Gli Ontani residence?
NEVER AGAIN !!!

14/04/2026: We thought we would try this "local" place which was supposed to be affordable. It was such a bad experience: very expensive and very rude service. It felt like they didn't want us to be there and I'm pretty sure they overcharged us for being travellers. Please Avoid !!!

18/02/2026: Unfortunately, to be able to write I have to give at least one star. The bar is dirty, it makes an impression. The bartender is arrogant, rude and poorly prepared. He didn't even know the difference between a cappuccino in a glass or a glass in a glass. I drink water. If I ask for a cappuccino in a glass, there's little you can do to be funny, but I think he didn't know the difference. I wonder, couldn't the NAS carry out a check?

25/07/2026: Worst fish I've ever eaten, it's truly disgusting. I ordered 6 mixed fried fish for 6 people, the fish wasn't enough to feed anyone, not to mention the price, 20-30 euros per person. One of us even vomited his soul at home after eating this abomination of a fish. I will NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS PLACE AGAIN.

08/06/2026: Better to eat somewhere else or cook yourself! The waiters don't understand the concept of primi and secondi – the food all arrived at once. The meat was either incredibly fatty and greasy or dry.
Service: We were first brought the wrong drinks, and then, with a terrible expression, the correct drinks were brought after we asked for them. Midway through the meal, the waitress silently took our Parmesan cheese without a word, just as she walked past us (and never brought it back). I haven't had such a poor restaurant experience in a long time.

05/08/2026: Impeccable service with a bit of a wait, but reasonable. The mussels are excellent. And I highly recommend the homemade lasagna.
04/08/2026: I wouldn't recommend eating at Simbua, not even to my worst enemy. The wine is terrible; if you ask for a glass, it's served without a bottle. If you ask for prosciutto and melon, prepare yourself for flavorless fruit and terrible-quality prosciutto. If you choose fregola with vegetables, prepare yourself for a piping hot plate of soupy, overcooked fregola with inedible vegetables, all microwaved. The bread requires a dutiful silence. And if you choose culargiones, know that it's the worst service in the entire city of Cagliari. The bill is always too high... I made a donation that I hope goes to the waiters. And that's it!

Nottambulando is a misleading name if you can't have dinner that night—too bad!
18/07/2026: Incredible value for money. Very large slices starting at €2.50, very tasty, and it's open until 4:30 am. Highly recommended.
