22/04/2026: A very good restaurant frequented by locals. Fresh ingredients, curry risotto, gnocchi alla vongole, grilled swordfish, tiramisu. Impeccable service and a swim at the beach to aid digestion.

22/02/2026: The Universo restaurant is truly a universe of flavors and Salento hospitality. I stopped for Sunday lunch and everything was delicious: fresh and tasty dishes, good house wine, and the orange and almond cake that finished it all was excellent. The staff were truly kind and helpful, never intrusive.

27/07/2026: We had dinner at this very welcoming place. Well, what can I say? Starting with the staff and the owners, who were really kind and friendly... quick service and very good food... the fresh cold cuts were delicious, excellent sliced ​​meat and to finish, an excellent Margherita pizza... fair prices... we had a great time and if we return to Otranto it will always be a pleasant stop.

26/07/2026: I chose the beef in sauce, and it wasn't very good in my opinion. Also, the meat was quite fatty. The pizza was good, and so was the tagliata.

15/07/2026: A beautiful, large beach in Otranto, specifically Alimini, where you'll find spectacular, pleasant sea views, well-serviced with showers and everything you need for a seaside getaway. Recommended for everyone.

13/07/2026: A jewel of Salento: the sea is undeniably beautiful, but I recommend a walk through the dense pine forest, along paths and amidst Mediterranean scrub. A unique experience!

08/06/2026: Excellent place if you want to eat well and have a good time! Set menu at €25: salad + lunguine + fish + glass of wine Sea bream cooked to perfection! I also recommend the mixed seafood platter, a real treat for the eyes and the taste buds! Finally, impeccable, attentive, and professional service. Don't hesitate if you're strolling through Otranto!

The property is simply enchanting: every space is meticulously designed, with an authentic atmosphere that breathes true Salento in every corner. From the tranquility of the masseria to the immaculately maintained outdoor spaces, everything exudes warmth, elegance, and tradition. The cuisine was one of the things we appreciated most: authentic dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic local flavors. Each course reflects the passion and love for Salento cuisine, with flavors that are both authentic and refined. A special thanks also goes to all the staff, always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every need. The owner is truly kind and welcoming, making guests feel at home from the very first moment. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the most authentic Salento, combining relaxation, excellent food, and impeccable hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

12/02/2026: The staff were very welcoming and courteous. The entire property displays great care and attention to detail. The suite with a pool is simply stunning, as well as very quaint. Even though it wasn't high season, our stay was still very pleasant, and the property is in top form. Plus, it boasts an excellent sea view. Definitely not to be missed if you're near Otranto.

01/11/2025: I don't recommend it! We ordered a portion of orecchette (we had eaten elsewhere and liked them) and a portion of lasagna, and when they were brought to us we were surprised that they didn't bring us the parmigiano, only after we requested them and waited for a while. The basil was burnt on the edges (a sign that it had been put in the oven with the lasagna, but unfortunately we overlooked this "detail"), and the portion of orecchette was swimming in a soup of something that was supposed to be a sauce. What was annoying was that the orecchiettes were cooked differently (some soft and others very hard) and when we told them this they said they couldn't do it, then that if we wanted we wouldn't pay for them, then that they would bring us more, finally the woman who served us didn't come to the table and sent the bar boy to collect our bill (in full of course) who told us that we had eaten the portion anyway so it had to be paid. We asked for someone to come and discuss it with us and things had already escalated. We asked to pay and we left with a bitter taste. Total lack of professionalism.

24/10/2025: I tried the “Gnocchi di patate al sugo” and they were delicious—very flavorful with an excellent texture. For dessert, I had tiramisu and I really liked it too. The prices are great — I paid 20 euros in total — and the service was very friendly and fast. They also have the traditional orecchiette, which look amazing as well. I’d definitely repeat the experience!
