31/08/2025: An evening with my family on vacation. A dinner of good food in a family atmosphere. If we ever return to the area, it's definitely worth considering.

01/09/2025: We were there last night, we bought a portion of chips and two portions of pasta with fish, water and local alcohol. Everything was good, we will be back.

28/08/2025: Unfortunately, it was a dinner I won't remember. The gratin mussels, which I only discovered were Spanish afterward, as the waiter explained it to another table, were completely overshadowed by the gratin cheese. The fried mussels weren't fried, they were boiled (I'll leave you a photo). The bill, in my opinion, was excessive for the quality, which, alas, I didn't find in the dishes. The positives: the staff were friendly throughout the service, the homemade cake was delicious, and the fennel liqueur they kindly gave us for free.

21/08/2025: It's like getting ripped off for €50-70 per person unless you opt for the meatballs entree. The price range is definitely not €20-30, not even for pasta with meatballs! Basic bistro atmosphere, with bistro dishes, so the portions are small. Presentation: nothing special. Good dishes, made with just a few, definitely high-quality ingredients and pre-cooked, making everything simple, easy to assemble, and easy to take out (if you let the food breathe between courses... thanks), so they absolutely don't justify an appetizer over €15 or a basic fish entree for €20. The super-polite owner offers gin and tonic regardless of the dishes, as he has his own line... the gin and tonic is served in small, narrow tumblers with three large ice cubes, something I've never seen anywhere else. More than anything else, the quantity of drinks is almost nothing... not to mention the difficulty in drinking them. Service: young, inexperienced staff. If the prices had been lower or there had been more attention to quantity-to-presentation ratio, I would have given it a 4 or 5 star rating. For €60 a head, there are plenty of places to eat with a more adequate quality-service-quantity ratio. Although between Santa Caterina and Santa Maria al Bagno, there's probably no one quite up to par.

20/08/2025: Larilò is a very cozy little restaurant in Santa Caterina. The owner is a wonderful host, very patient and friendly. We went with family and friends for dinner. The menu is primarily seafood-based. We opted for pasta with fish and marinated tuna, and the kids had pasta with tomato sauce. Everything was delicious. I recommend it.

26/06/2025: bella location, facilmente raggiungibile da Torre Lapillo, giardino curato, curioso il coniglio che viaggia libero sull'erba. Tanti insetti, ma è lo scotto da pagare per mangiare all'aperto in campagna. Persone splendide, attente, garbate, premurose, efficienti. Abbiamo iniziato con un ottimo antipasto salentino, molte e buone le verdure proposte (zucchine pastellate, peperoni gratinati, parmigiana di melanzane, cicoria, melanzane in agrodolce), Buoni i nodini e i fritti. I primi gradevoli (ravioli con ricotta e spinaci e tortelli di farro con formaggio e noci) e goloso il dolce di cioccolato. Prezzo buono, ma quello che mi è rimasto maggiormente nel cuore, è il clima dell'agriturismo nella miglior accezione del termine. Consigliato

18/08/2025: They've significantly raised their prices compared to the previous year. Prices are rising, but the service and quality remain average. For the quality/price ratio, I strongly advise against it.

15/08/2025: Beautiful location. On the sea. Friendly staff. The owner, Santina, immediately puts you at ease by recommending dishes off the menu. In our case, she was available to recommend and book a Masseria for us for the next day. The food was very good. Prices were average.

30/08/2025: Nice, clean place, everything in order, but I think four portions of mixed fish, which we all know what that is, three portions of raw shellfish, which among other things was a species I remember as very round, with a fruit that released a brownish color and a repulsive taste (in our opinion), a glass and a half of wine for three, and still mineral water, €183 seems exaggerated to me; perhaps the price included the beautiful sunset. 6/30/2025 I still have the receipt

25/08/2025: The prices on the menu need to be updated compared to those shown in the photo. A fried food costs 12 euros but the restaurant menu costs 18 euros.

06/01/2025: Outstanding cocktail bar and small plates restaurant with a charming atmosphere. Owners Lucca and his wife prepare excellent cocktails with top end ingredients. Good selection of wines also available.Nice background music makes Cardinal a can’t miss option. Very reasonable prices as well. Highly recommended.

Kind and courteous service with Irene who welcomes you immediately and makes you feel at home! 16/05/2025: Disappointing experience Excessive prices for what is offered. The pizza was poorly stretched, more like a pinsa, and the "La grande abbuffata" dish for two was barely enough for one. The €2.50 for a small bottle of water and €3 for the cover charge are absurd. Too bad, I would have gone back, but it really seems like the goal is to squeeze the customer as much as possible, offering the bare minimum. I do not recommend it.

20/07/2025: We dined at this restaurant, which was highly recommended by friends. We were disappointed by the limited variety of the menu, some of the typical dishes needed to be ordered, and the coffee was served in a paper cup.
