04/09/2025: Excellent vegan menu with a 10/10 frittatina and an arancini with ragù as an appetizer.
The vegan Margherita was top-notch, reasonably priced, and made with good dough.
We ended up in Galatina somewhat by chance, and this place was a lovely surprise. Well done!!

12/10/2025: We dined at the Gandula Restaurant in Cesate, a charming location surrounded by a large green space, making it an ideal destination for important events such as weddings, first communions, and so on.
The restaurant has a welcoming indoor dining room, a covered outdoor area, and—the real highlight—a vast, illuminated garden that creates a magical atmosphere.
The service is attentive, and the menu is simple yet sophisticated.
We ordered risotto with ossobuco (very good) and excellent paccheri with cherry tomatoes and stracciatella.
We will definitely return to try the cotoletta alla milanese: we saw some magnificent ones paraded between the tables, and it will be our next stop.
Although some dishes are a bit pricey, the quality of the cuisine and the ambiance are worth the visit.
11/10/2025: A week after our wedding at this beautiful location, I can begin by saying that it has become a special place for us. From the moment we first arrived at Gandula, we felt a connection with Maddalena, who listened to us and accommodated us in every way (until the day before, I had some people in doubt due to health problems, and even then she was super, which is not a given).
The wedding day was perfect and magical, from the ceremony to the aperitif to the lunch. All our guests complimented us on everything!
We were happy and thrilled because everything was perfect!
A huge thank you to Maddalena and all the staff, thank you for making our dream come true!

You can also find many gluten-free options, including gelato 🍨 👏👏👏.
A must-see for anyone passing through Galatina 😅👍👍

17/08/2025: Rudeness flaunted. No greeting or acknowledgement, either when entering or leaving. After consuming, I ask for the bill, pay, and the lady receiving the money silently walks away. Another woman comes and asks if I need to pay. I tell her I've already paid and am waiting for the receipt, to which she turns to the previous woman, "Marì, did this guy make a fool of you?" I think calling customers "this guy" is offensive. Customers are the ones who bring you money, remember that and be respectful, especially since there's another bar right next door.

27/09/2025: The night I went the food was average, some of us reacted to the food and the service was poor (perhaps understaffed)
22/09/2025: We sat down, ordered fried food, a fried calzone, and two beers. The fried pizzas were greasy, and the panzerotti were mediocre. The fried calzone never arrived. I waited patiently until they told me the fryer wasn't up to temperature and there wasn't much they could do because there was a large table to serve (so???????). They offered me something else, but I declined... the lack of customer service was too much. I was given a discount for the "inconvenience," but I would have preferred to pay for the food.

28/09/2024: Pegamos um voo mais conexão! A vinda foi uma surpresa a Galatina. Nosso hotel em Lecce cancelou a reserva e achamos aqui.
Depois de 10 horas de voo mais conexão e estrada… Tudo fechado das 13:00 às 16:00, ainda sábado… pedimos uma Pucchia ( maravilhosa - de mortadela , búfala e stracchiatela- 6,00 euros) , água grande 1 litro ( €2,50) , coca lata (€ 2,50) , 2 sucos de laranja e. 1 café (€1,50) . Eles cobram taxa de €1,00 para servir a mesa . A conta para 4 pessoas com tudo € 45,00 , sendo 22,50 por casal . Ótimo em tudo

22/01/2025: Tengo un colega muy mayor que es originario de Galatina y siempre me ha hablado de este café histórico y su helado, así que vinimos a visitar Galatina y luego pasamos por el Bar delle Rose. Bueno, es bastante anticuado, pero eso no significa necesariamente que sea algo malo; podría convertirse en un punto de orgullo y distinción para los propietarios. Por favor, mejora un poco, explícale a tus empleados que es importante no parecer aburrido por los clientes.
Te doy la puntuación más alta para animarte a volver al nivel de historias y recuerdos que has dejado con tus compañeros de pueblo.

13/11/2024: Per la seconda volta mi sono recato con la mia squadra di calcio in questo stupendo hotel. Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti Da Simone e Desireè che con la loro gentilezza e professionalità si sono messi a disposizione per tutti noi. Abbiamo cenato e come sempre la cena è stata ottima complimenti allo chef per le pietanze cucinate con materiali di prima qualità ma soprattutto freschi.
Le stanze sono super pulite Tv schermo piatto con Sky incluso c’è anche il frigobar.
Faccio i complimenti al responsabile di sala con i camerieri sempre educati, gentili e professionali. Infine ringrazio Elisa sempre disponibile sia al telefono che in reception poi le due desirè anche loro sempre molto attente e professionali. Grazie. Liliana e Martina che si sono presi cura di noi durante la colazione non facendo mancare nulla al gruppo squadra. Grazie al direttore sempre molto attento e super professionale.
Sicuri di ritornare questo hotel è qualcosa di meraviglioso.
