Special thanks to Fabiola, who welcomed us with her warmth and professionalism, making us feel right at home. Highly recommended.
13/11/2025: Hello. We spent a lovely evening at this beautiful restaurant in the historic center of Galatina. We ate delicious Roman pinza, a good house wine, and a platter of quality cured meats and cheeses. What can I say? Fantastic.
As a true gourmet, I recommend it. It's a must!
They also have another restaurant nearby where you can enjoy homemade Salento cuisine.
Compliments to Luigi, the owner, and to Marco and the girls who work there.
Highly recommended!

18/01/2026: Good pizza with a variety of toppings and a good selection of beers. Fried foods are also good, and the menu also features a few meat dishes. A typical, noisy pub, it's packed with patrons, especially on Saturdays.
15/01/2026: I've been to this place both in the summer, with large tables on the street and a platform (everything well-kept and trendy), and a few days ago for pizza with a friend. On Saturdays, they don't take advance reservations, so when you arrive, you give your name and number of people and wait for a time that the cashier will give you approximately. Well, I'd say this is perhaps one of the place's few flaws. Not knowing how long someone will be eating, you can't accurately quantify the wait time. Unless someone says, "No, okay, I won't wait 40 minutes and leave," the others wait. However, you risk waiting a bit unnecessarily because if a table for four is freed up, customers who may have arrived well after you are seated. I was a bit shocked by this "selection method."
Back to the food, the lactose-free pizza was really excellent, the chips were a bit large but excellent. A welcoming place, highly recommended for going with friends, but also if you're lucky enough to get a corner table with enough privacy to chat quietly without shouting over the music. I'll be back during the week and will write a new review.

16/11/2025: Simple and perfect! Breathtaking views and friendly, well-prepared service.
The dishes were all perfect, authentic, local flavors cooked with love. Each dish was a surprise, and the
good flavor is a signature dish. I recommend the house antipasto and the pasta alla genovese. The buffalo mozzarella is top-notch, as are the cured meats. If you're passing through, visit this place, which makes authentic simplicity its winning feature!

10/12/2025: Overall the food is good but there are some things that could be improved, such as more abundant condiments.
11/09/2025: The pizzas are very good and very affordable. The cocktails are nothing to write home about. The setting is pleasant. Don't hesitate to go there or stop by for a beer and a pizza. They also serve salads. In short, I discovered it too late.

18/01/2026: Very nice place, but I don't think I'll be back. We sat down at 9:30 PM, and after an hour, no one showed up to take our orders. After ordering, we got fries but no drinks. After a while, water arrived, but no beers. While we were waiting, the waitress who had taken our order told us that one of our beers was out. Our drinks finally arrived, but they were initially taken to another table. The pizzas, four of them, arrived at different times. I don't like this: that while one person eats, the others watch, and vice versa. So much chaos and so much sloppiness. The staff is unprepared to handle so many people. It wasn't a great experience.
19/12/2025: Type Zero, a zero for the experience.
I order a sandwich.
It arrives on a small iron tray, completely frozen.
The sandwich is acceptable, but the fries on the side are clearly reheated and fried in oil that's already been in the oven for a few miles.
I point out the mix-up, and they say, "Oh, but you put ketchup," in a somewhat haughty manner.
They basically wanted to reheat them and bring them back.
They bring me a separate portion, and they were basically the same old fries, chewy and with a bad flavor.
It's a shame because they started out well, but over the years they think that once you've built a loyal customer base, you can start selling them less-than-quality food.
Total disappointment.

21/12/2025: I was there for a company dinner, nice atmosphere, good food outside there is a green area I don't know if in summer it is used as a restaurant, a bit difficult to find, you have to take a road where it is indicated as a closed road towards the fields and woods.

You can also find many gluten-free options, including gelato 🍨 👏👏👏.

17/08/2025: Rudeness flaunted. No greeting or acknowledgement, either when entering or leaving. After consuming, I ask for the bill, pay, and the lady receiving the money silently walks away. Another woman comes and asks if I need to pay. I tell her I've already paid and am waiting for the receipt, to which she turns to the previous woman, "Marì, did this guy make a fool of you?" I think calling customers "this guy" is offensive. Customers are the ones who bring you money, remember that and be respectful, especially since there's another bar right next door.

23/11/2025: Invited for a birthday celebration
Clean, well-organized venue, friendly staff, quick service, and beautifully plated dishes made with quality ingredients. The only downside was the first course, which wasn't brought pre-plated; instead, the waiter passed by with a spoon, pouring two ladles for each guest. Try it and believe it.
10/11/2025: The restaurant is large but a little dated. The food is not bad even if it is very simple.

28/09/2024: Pegamos um voo mais conexão! A vinda foi uma surpresa a Galatina. Nosso hotel em Lecce cancelou a reserva e achamos aqui.
Depois de 10 horas de voo mais conexão e estrada… Tudo fechado das 13:00 às 16:00, ainda sábado… pedimos uma Pucchia ( maravilhosa - de mortadela , búfala e stracchiatela- 6,00 euros) , água grande 1 litro ( €2,50) , coca lata (€ 2,50) , 2 sucos de laranja e. 1 café (€1,50) . Eles cobram taxa de €1,00 para servir a mesa . A conta para 4 pessoas com tudo € 45,00 , sendo 22,50 por casal . Ótimo em tudo

22/01/2025: Tengo un colega muy mayor que es originario de Galatina y siempre me ha hablado de este café histórico y su helado, así que vinimos a visitar Galatina y luego pasamos por el Bar delle Rose. Bueno, es bastante anticuado, pero eso no significa necesariamente que sea algo malo; podría convertirse en un punto de orgullo y distinción para los propietarios. Por favor, mejora un poco, explícale a tus empleados que es importante no parecer aburrido por los clientes.
Te doy la puntuación más alta para animarte a volver al nivel de historias y recuerdos que has dejado con tus compañeros de pueblo.
