14/10/2024: Amazing long weekend in October here at Masseria le Carrube. Good was amazing, rooms were unique and clean, staff were very welcoming and friendly. Such a great experience and we can’t wait to come back next year :)

04/10/2024: Non posso dire che il menu non fosse buono ma se e’ un menu imposto e con un prezzo imposto ..mi aspetto molto di più e mi aspetto di poter dire wow! I menù vegetariani non sono facili ma non sono neppure come quelli vegani. Quindi una offerta più sostanziosa me la sarei aspettata. I sapori si somigliavano, mancavano di grinta e di quel tocco in più che uno chef deve dare sempre. Il morbido al finocchio lo offrirei al massimo di contorno ad una portata principale e magari su di un letto di funghi di stagione e comunque con un un po’ di spinta nel sapore..che so ..un po’ di scorza di limone? un fiore di cappero o lo stesso finocchietto proposto ma non come ramoscello di guarnizione e il crumble di ortaggi ..non pervenuto, non ha fatto la differenza in questa portata. L’ Insalata di puntarelle con funghì buona ma era giusto un assaggio. Il Panzerotto divertente si ma per il prezzo imposto magari avrei proposto un fiore di zucca ripieno o una melanzana ripiena o un arancino al grano o comunque qualcosa di più elaborato di un semplice panzerotto. Tortelli buoni ma il sapore era fin troppo delicato, il pecorino inesistente seppur menzionato e sarebbe servito a dare quella spinta nel sapore che invece è’ mancata. Dolce buono ma almeno su questa portata, se insistete con il menu fisso..proponete almeno 2 dolci e un po’ più elaborati, si preparano prima, non dovrebbero crearvi tanti problemi in cucina. Non mi faccio scrupoli perché la mia spero sarà una critica costruttiva, sono appena rientrata da Parigi dove vado spesso, in molto locali impongono il menu ..posso dire che la qualità eccelsa e l’offerta di materie di stagione mi ha permesso di dire sempre wow ed a prezzi addirittura più contenuti..uno per tutti ..Le Fumoir ..che consiglio allo chef di provare… e poi sempre e su ogni portata, c’erano almeno due scelte. Servizio ottimo ma i fiori secchi evitiamoli, mettiamo anche un semplice ramoscello di rosmarino ..anche qui ..minimo sforzo ..massima cura per l’ospite.

07/01/2025: I had dinner at the Portanova restaurant in Ostuni for New Year's Eve dinner. The location is enchanting, with a splendid panoramic view, and the service was impeccable: the waiters were kind and friendly. However, I must report that the dinner did not live up to expectations. The meat arrived cold and a first course was not to my liking. The rest of the courses were good, but the overall experience could have been better.

19/01/2025: We had a family lunch, we felt at home, very good and above all genuine food, impeccable service, beautiful place!! We will return with pleasure.

02/12/2024: A magical getaway! We rented three trulli apartments at the end of the season (November) and stayed here to explore Puglia, and we couldn't be happier with the food, service, and surroundings. All our interactions with Patrizia and her family were lovely, and they were even kind enough to let us borrow some flour and butter when we decided to make our own "picnic" lunch. The rooms are comfortable, updated, and warm (in the cold weather!); the toddlers loved running around on the grass and the little playset (swing, mini climbing wall, slide) on the property. We all loved the very friendly cats, dogs, and peacocks and the roamed the grounds, and our kiddos loved making the morning rounds to see the horses, donkeys, cows, and chickens too! Breakfast each day was fresh and delightful (standard continental fare) and the pool looked beautiful, though it was too cold by then for us to use. Overall had a really relaxing and beautiful stay here, and would highly recommend to anyone-- especially families and groups!

02/01/2025: A small, unpretentious home-cooked food restaurant in the heart of Ostuni. Family attention and good treatment. As a curiosity, I would like to mention that the entrance to the restaurant is spectacular.

08/01/2025: Out of the way place but a stone's throw from the centre. The beer, the pinsa and the burgers we ordered were excellent. The company of their little dog was excellent ☺️. The only note is that perhaps the portions were a little more generous and you would get a full five stars.

16/03/2025: The restaurant deliberately has a rustic and non-modernised setting. It feels like going back in time both for the place full of objects and remakes from a long time ago, and for the ancient and sincere flavors of the good foods of the past. The service is fast and accurate and the dishes excellent and well presented.

25/02/2025: Un menù piccolo all’apparenza ma ricco di sapori , fragranze e metodi di cottura interessanti e sicuramente da provare. Ottima la nostra ed, sia a livello culinario che con lo staff. Prodotti a km 0, olio buonissimo assaggiato su una pagnotta fragrante e caldissima. Dolci non banali e soprattutto eleganza sia nell’arredo che nell’impiattamento .

27/09/2024: Nice and especially relaxed Lido that charges normal prices for the rental of the beach beds and has clean sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, the season is coming to an end, so not everything was available at the bar anymore. For the rest, nothing to complain about this place, had a wonderful relaxing afternoon.

26/09/2024: I almost don't want to review it as everyone else will visit 😂 not too busy, no one hassling you. We loved this place, friendly staff, beautiful beach. The perfect Puglian lido we were hoping for. Want to come back

17/01/2025: We are from Rome and have always had a beach house here and I used to come here as a child, now my parents live in Ostuni in retirement and I often get to know them when I'm there, coming from Rome. the pizza is the best in the area, also because Ostuni, although beautiful, does not boast a large choice of 'historic' restaurants. THE bruchetta in its "small" way (although they also have a large, spartan but comfortable internal room), has been a certainty since the 80s, has a vast choice of pizzas and doughs, but also first courses and side dishes characterized by the classic authenticity that wait in a village tavern.
