27/05/2025: I relied on this pastry shop for my daughter's birthday cake, who was on a school trip in Puglia. They were able to satisfy my request remotely. They made the cake we wanted (even prettier) with relative delivery. They were punctual, courteous and the cake was delicious. Thank you 🙏🏻

03/06/2025: We stumbled into this restaurant by chance to escape the rain: we weren't disappointed. You'll enjoy a typically Italian experience, with local dishes prepared by the manager based on her inspirations of the day. We enjoyed delicious orecchiete, with a special mention for the broccoli one! We also enjoyed a beautiful sea view. You can go there with your eyes closed, and the welcome is very warm.

27/05/2025: Deeply grateful for the authentic cuisine and conversation. The food is delicious, the sunset view an unexpected delight, and it’s quiet here away from the throngs. For anyone in Ostuni looking for an off-the-beaten-path gem, Spessite is *the* place. Grazie mille di Canada!

02/07/2025: Wonderful atmosphere. Puff and music I would say soporific. The backdrop of the wonderful historic center. I recommend for the atmosphere, the cleanliness of the bathroom (no small thing) and the very polite service. The only flaw, but normal for a tourist town, slightly high prices.

07/06/2025: English: I have read extremely positive reviews so I hope that my experience about ten days ago at lunch is the exception that proves the rule. I have rarely come across such careless presentation and preparation of dishes, at the cost of obtaining the opposite result. I photographed the portion of seafood salad that was presented to me as an appetizer in a bowl that could easily contain (approximately) at least 300g of fish chopped into large pieces, without any care or regard for its chewiness, but I could never have predicted that the next dish would be worse: a plate of spaghetti literally drowned in a lemon-flavored sauce in which a few mussels were floating. I admit that I asked if it was possible to replace the gnocchi with spaghetti, ignoring the fact that in the original recipe (tasted later in another restaurant) the fish sauce almost acts as a broth for the gnocchi, but if satisfying the customer means forcing him to literally fish out the spaghetti from 250cc of broth and ruin the dish, wouldn't it be better to recommend it differently? The doubt remains that a technical error was made in the kitchen, both in the preparation of the dish and in the choice not to give instructions to the waitress to advise the customer to order something else.

It feels like going back in time both for the place full of objects from a long time ago, and for the ancient and sincere flavors of the good foods of the past. The service is fast and accurate and the dishes are excellent and well presented.

18/05/2025: I went there for dinner last night, I tried the tasting menu: excellent! A vegetarian menu built on the products available in the garden of the structure itself, refined flavors, ingenious combinations, I'm surprised it's not a starred restaurant yet. I will definitely go back. Highly recommended to everyone. PS: the wine cellar available is also wonderful.

Cuisine without ideas and without real taste, deplorable service, mistakes in dishes, appetizer at the same time as the main course, your plate is taken away while your partner hasn't finished. Your table is cleared, making you understand that it must be vacated. In short, meal folded and 20 minutes, tasteless dishes... there are better evenings!
