21/06/2025: A hidden gem in the heart of Ostuni – Terra Nostra While walking through the white streets of Ostuni, on a hot day, we relied on the spontaneous advice of a kind local lady who suggested we stop at Terra Nostra, a place that is an enchanting mix between a delicatessen and a restaurant. It was a fortunate and memorable discovery, perfect for our lunch. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with great warmth by Mrs. Maria, an authentic and smiling hostess, who immediately made us feel welcome. The environment is simple, rustic and well-kept, and immediately transmits that family atmosphere that puts you at ease. The menu is typical of Ostuni, made of real flavors and local ingredients. We started with a burratina with capocollo from Martina Franca, both very fresh and so soft that they melt in the mouth. Next, a chicory with pan-fried cherry tomatoes and bay leaves, a real delicacy: the typical bitterness of the chicory was perfectly balanced by the scent of the bay leaves and the sweetness of the dried cherry tomatoes, creating a surprising balance of flavors. Then came the first courses: orecchiette with fresh tomato, stracciatella and pistachio, and orecchiette with turnip tops and anchovies. Both dishes were an explosion of genuine flavors, carefully prepared and balanced to perfection. To complete it all, a sparkling house rosé wine, fresh and very pleasant, ideal for a summer lunch. We couldn't help but try the parmigiana, which brought back memories of Sunday family lunches - authentic flavors, prepared with love, just "like mom used to make it". In the kitchen, assistant chef Noemi, under the supervision of chef Annamaria, was able to tell a living and sincere culinary tradition through the dishes. The service was impeccable thanks to Niccolò, always attentive, helpful and courteous. Terra Nostra is not just a restaurant, it is a small corner of Puglia where time slows down, the flavors speak to you and the hospitality warms you. A lunch we will not forget. Highly recommended. PS the bread they bring to the table is something sublime!!!?

19/06/2025: Great food, homemade. For those who like me like to eat typical and local food. Outside the concept of pizzas and related. These wonderful flavors saved me for a few more days

28/06/2025: Yesterday, we were melting in Ostuni. Having seen as many sights before shoe rubber adhered to the paving stones, we craved lunch and a cool location. We had originally planned to eat at one of Ostuni's oldest restaurants, but it was inexplicitly closed. Firing up Google maps, we searched for what was nearby and found this place. First off, it is not for those on a tight budget. If you want authentic, original, and amazingly well-balanced dishes, which, with a bit of recalibration (food and presentation excellent, the ambiance could be slightly improved) ..could be a contender for Michelin Star quality. It is that good. Whilst we were tempted with the taster menu, we couldn't quite stretch to a £200 lunch for two (+ drinks on top) so worked through the menu so that we could try new dishes and experience new flavours. Our needs were very well managed by Donato, who patiently helped to explain the dishes and shared some really interesting techniques. For example, we couldn't understand how out of season turnip tops could appear in a summer menu..the answer, Flash Freezing. The result..a flavour and texture as good as if it had just been plucked from a field. The same technique is used with fish. Minus 14C kills off bacteria too..always good to know. My wife and I tried to decide which dish we thought was best...it was impossible as we loved them all. The Octopus was fabulously succulent, the Red Tuna stunningly fresh, and amberjack carpaccio an absolute delight. It would be helpful in future to have fully itemised billing (we discovered too late that we had been overcharged for drinks we didn't have), but the quality of the food and experience is by far what we will remember the most. With a little fine tuning, I think this could be a a first rate experience from beginning to end. The food, service, quality of tableware, comfortable seating.. already exceed expectations. 25/05/2025: We are a couple of bikers and in our travel itinerary we stopped in Ostuni. In the evening we were looking for a place where we could taste typical products and despite the short notice they managed to reserve us a table with extreme kindness. The lady who welcomed us is a truly jovial and sunny person and the dishes are tasty. Absolutely to try.

12/07/2025: The crepes and panzerotti were very good, and above all, nice and large and filling. Definitely worth trying again. The same can't be said for the fried fish. It's good, but for the price, the portions leave a lot to be desired.

10/07/2025: After a week in Puglia, I found the best panzerotto... Finally, the flavor I remembered from when I was a child in the '70s.

11/06/2025: Stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, we discovered a corner of Ostuni away from the confusion (although still very busy) where the service is excellent, on par with the dishes offered. Excellent drinks, fabulous orecchiette, excellent fish. The small panoramic terrace is the icing on the cake. The guys serving are all really good, kind and precise. Highly recommended!

11/06/2025: We went for a drink to admire the views from the panoramic terrace, but when we arrived they told us that we had to leave in an hour because dinner time was starting (7pm). We said no problem but what a disappointment when we saw that they put us on the terrace stuck to the wall, together with two couples in the same situation, because the tables with a view were reserved for dinner. In addition, all in a very small space, the chairs clashed with those at the table next door. And surprise surprise, 3 groups that came in later to have a drink were put at the tables with the view... To top it off, they brought us the bill 30 minutes before the time they had told us, clearly inviting us to leave. Very bad service, to be honest. I would not recommend it, at least for a drink. I can't comment on the food.

09/07/2025: Rosamarina on the north side is a wonderful restaurant, indoor but very well-known. It also serves a pizzeria, with plenty of seating on the covered veranda, and free secure parking for the restaurant itself. Fresh produce, friendly, attentive, and fast staff. I recommend making a reservation or going early in the evening. Excellent first courses, but everything else is definitely worth it. Whether it's winter or summer, you won't be disappointed. Wide selection of wines and sparkling wines.

08/07/2025: The food is good, in a somewhat noisy but comfortable outdoor setting, and the service has considerable room for improvement, both in terms of attention to customer needs (including those dictated by personal health issues) and service times. The Taverna's success is evidenced by the large number of diners; we don't look at them hastily. Everything is done with kindness.

06/07/2025: Top atmosphere. Great selection of beers, generous and tasty sandwiches, friendly and always on-point staff. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy an evening with friends. Definitely worth returning to.

06/07/2025: After work, my partner and I decided to go for dinner, something light but at the same time good. On a summer evening, outside on the steps.. The two waitresses were really good, meticulous. Kind and friendly owner. Quiet and hospitable environment. Excellent quality/price ratio. Recommended.

09/06/2025: Best vacation ever, the amazing trulli felt like a farytail. The people there are an amazing family and they made us feel apart of that family. The food was extraordinary. Superb experience.

18/05/2025: We felt very at home at this lovely farm and with Patricia and her family. The accommodation, a renovated traditional Trulli -house, was super nice and we had everything we needed. Especially having a kitchen was perfect for traveling with a baby. The dinner at the farm was very delicious. Also, we enjoyed the animals that live on the farm. Even a donkey lives there. Our 7-month-old baby liked the three very friendly dogs. I enjoyed swimming in the pool that is in a quiet area of the farm. The nature around the farm also is just beautiful (e.g. it is very nice to walk along the Aquedotto) and there are beautiful small towns near by, also some to see more traditional Trulli-houses, e.g. Alberobello. We can absolutely recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again for everything - we hope to be back one day :) Otis + family
