03/11/2024: When I'm in Ostuni, I can't help but stop in this bar: it's now a fixed stop! The specialty is the "Nun's Tits," soft, delicious and always very fresh. I highly recommend the pistachio ones, which are truly irresistible, but I must say that they are all delicious and with attention to the smallest details. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is always courteous and attentive. A perfect place to enjoy high quality typical desserts in the heart of Ostuni. Super recommended!

13/11/2024: It occurred to me that I had eaten at this restaurant on four occasions and hadn't posted a review. Perhaps this was down to the fact that a decent restaurant in Ostuni is a rarity, (so many being aimed at the tourist who would never return anyway) that perhaps, subconsciously, I was keen to keep this place as my little secret! However, that's scarcely fair is it? Anyway, in simple terms, it's a great place and an honest restaurant serving excellent food (and with a decent wine list as well). I have also looked at the criticisms of the place and would have to disagree. Obviously people can make mistakes and things can go wrong. Yes, the tables are a bit close together and you have to book early to get a position alongside the view ... but really, what's the big deal. At heart you have a couple trying hard to offer good food at a perfectly acceptable price and long may this continue. I will be back and I'm already looking forward to it.

08/11/2024: Una joya de un restaurante con una vista preciosa, tomamos una maravillosa clase de cocina donde hicimos la pasta de orecchiette regional. Los propietarios Alfonso y Adrianna son cálidos y amables, y fueron muy pacientes con nuestras habilidades tanto para hacer pasta y postre. Nos hicieron sentir como en familia e hicieron que la clase de cocina fuera muy divertida. Las salsas de pasta de Alfonso eran ligeras, llenas de rico sabor a tomate y bellamente presentadas. Recomiendo encarecidamente la clase de cocina y el restaurante.

31/08/2024: The restaurant is just below Ostuni and from there in the evening it is beautiful to see the city lit up. It is very beautiful both outside among the olive trees and inside among the ancient stone vaults. We took the house starter: 4 good and imaginative specialties. Amberjack with cherry tomatoes and ravioli were excellent, the white wine too (but there is also beer). Good service and average prices, not exaggerated.

27/08/2024: A lovely evening spent just outside of Ostuni - in fact nice not to have to worry about parking as the restaurant is set amongst the olives. Wonderful, creative menu and excellent service.

15/12/2024: Una brutta sorpresa. Erano alcuni anni che non tornavamo in questo ristorante, che ricordavamo con molto piacere per l’ambiente caldo e accogliente e per i sapori prelibati. Siamo tornati oggi a pranzo 16 dicembre 2024, un antipasto, un primo e due secondi, due calici di vino…80 euro . Saletta piccola e freddissima (si mangiava col giubbotto addosso) . Antipasto decente ma semplicissimo, a casa abbiamo più fantasia, primo gnocchetti insapori e di qualità scarsa (tanta farina e poca patata… non credo fatti in casa), bombette di secondo decenti, ma non eccellenti e in quantità limitata. Ricordavamo sontuosi antipasti tipici ma ben fatti e con un pizzico di fantasia, primi fatti in casa prelibati…ecc… tutto scomparso… menù molto limitato, prezzi alti, sapori medi… e lo diciamo da Salentini, abituati a mangiare cose tipiche… insomma una delusione nel complesso… forse ha cambiato gestione, o forse era una giornata no…

29/08/2024: Place too hot for a summer dinner despite the presence of air conditioning (off in some parts of the place and replaced by poorly functioning ventilation systems) Steak cooked rare as requested but was not tender.. Excellent ash potatoes. Hands-on service especially at the meat counter where you can choose what to cook.

23/11/2024: Stopped in for a quiet lunch for one. Had the baby cuttlefish and the prawn carpaccio with burrata as well as wine. The server was lovely and the food came out quickly. Lots of seating overlooking the Adriatic as well.

03/11/2024: Local located a few steps from the historic center of Ostuni. Small, but very cute. Very kind and friendly staff, excellent welcome and service. Super products, the panzarotti are delicious, super light and crunchy frying. Really excellent! Availability of products also for lactose intolerants or vegans, both savory and sweet. Recommended for a meal on the fly.

25/10/2024: Located in the historic center of Ostuni, the restaurant enjoys a beautiful view of the square and the obelisk. Small to sit on (2 or 3 tables inside and 1 outside) but that's fine: grab and go. The wait is enlivened by good music. The interior looks clean. I ate a good panzerotto with chop and tried the one with meatballs, very good! Divine crepes (even too much Nutella) I recommend for two, in addition to a bottle of water. Bathroom located outside. 21/09/2024: Questa estate siamo stati diverse volte in questo posto molto rilassante e lontano dal caos cittadino. Una trattoria semplice ma d’effetto perché è situata in un’antica casa di campagna che ti riporta di colpo indietro negli anni di belle memorie e tradizioni. È’ proprio la tradizione che si respira e si gusta qui: piatti semplici ma cucinati per bene, molto gustosi ed una buona scelta tra antipasti, primi e secondi. Le pizze poi sono buonissime con una cura per l’impasto straordinaria. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimale. Servizio ottimo e cordialità.
