31/12/2024: During a walk through the charming streets of Ostuni, we accidentally came across a place that we thought was a simple takeaway. Intrigued, we entered and to our great surprise we discovered a little hidden gem: a restaurant that offered us an authentic and unforgettable culinary experience. As soon as we crossed the back door, we found ourselves immersed in a welcoming and intimate atmosphere, where the soul and flavors of the Apulian land welcomed us with warmth. What made our lunch even more special was Maria, the owner, who with kindness and professionalism was able to recommend typical dishes rich in tradition. Each course told a story made of the freshest ingredients and recipes that respect the local culture. From first courses to desserts, everything was an explosion of authentic and genuine flavours, which were able to amaze even the most demanding palates in our company. Maria, with her infectious smile and an evident passion for her work, transformed our lunch into a memorable experience, making us feel at home. His kindness and competence made the service impeccable, adding a further touch of human warmth that we will hardly forget. In summary, this hidden restaurant in Ostuni was a lucky and surprising discovery, a place we highly recommend to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the true flavors of Puglia. Thanks to Maria and the magic of this place, we left the restaurant with hearts full of gratitude and the desire to return soon.

29/12/2024: We were warmly welcomed in this restaurant. The service is impeccable, and the 2 servers are very friendly. The cuisine is delicious and refined, the same for the wine. We went there in winter, I imagine that in summer it must be incredible to enjoy the terrace! We highly recommend!

03/11/2024: When I'm in Ostuni, I can't help but stop in this bar: it's now a fixed stop! The specialty is the "Nun's Tits," soft, delicious and always very fresh. I highly recommend the pistachio ones, which are truly irresistible, but I must say that they are all delicious and with attention to the smallest details. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is always courteous and attentive. A perfect place to enjoy high quality typical desserts in the heart of Ostuni. Super recommended!

23/01/2025: Really great restaurant in every respect. We were there at the end of August 2024. The reservation by email was very easy and we had a wonderful spot with a view of Ostuni's old town. The quality and taste of the food was phenomenal. When my girlfriend and I left, it was quite late and we were the last ones in the restaurant. Alfonso offered us a limoncello on the house and so we started talking to him and Adrianna and had a really great chat with them both. What makes this restaurant special is not only the delicious food and the beautiful ambience, but also the really great service from Alfonso and Adrianna. You just feel comfortable there, which is why I can fully recommend the restaurant. We'll definitely come back next time in Puglia!

02/01/2025: Wide choice of local and non-local meats, wide variety of bombette dishes including capocollo ones. Unmissable baked potatoes. Baked onions equally unmissable. Final entree and biscuits offered by the restaurant. Great selection of wines. To try several times in your life.

07/01/2025: Service upon arrival was very good, but as the evening progressed it got worse. I had bone splinters all over my flesh, I said something about that and then I got the answer 'yes, that comes from the bone'. I got that far too... then I asked if he understood that this is not nice. To which he said 'yes, sorry'. That's it. Furthermore, an attractive garden. Food is ok. Nice wine list.

12/01/2025: This was our favourite restaurant over 10 days in Italy, so much so that we ate here twice. The staff were warm and welcoming, the restaurant was beautiful and the food was fantastic. The "Drunkard's Fettucine" (served with orecchiette pasta that night) was full of subtle and interesting flavours and the pork that my partner had was cooked to perfection. The Flan di cicoria starter was also quite special. I would highly recommend this venue.

07/01/2025: Went there for the pasta 🍝 the atmosphere and the service was incredible the wine 🍷 salad bread cocktail was perfect I had been craving spaghetti all week this was the worst fettuccine marinara stay away from I’m sure the rest of the menu is good 😊

13/02/2025: Locale caldo, grande, bellissimo, completamente in pietra. Piatti della tradizione. Abbiamo optato per la carne ad etto e la qualità era ottimo, solo il taglio lasciava un po' a desiderare. Anche chi ci ha seguiti al tavolo, non era molto cordiale. Buona anche la qualità/prezzo.

12/02/2025: Comida deliciosa, ambiente maravilloso, servicio fabuloso. ¿Qué más puede querer alguien de un restaurante? Pasamos 3 semanas en Ostuni y fuimos aquí para cenar 3 veces. El anfitrión era encantador. Nuestro servidor, Alex, era perfecto. Incluso recordó nuestros nombres. Si viviera en Ostuni, haría de esto una experiencia gastronómica semanal.

11/01/2025: We found ourselves in this place by chance and, not knowing it, we just had a pizza and dessert.... The next day we went back for lunch and I tasted the orecchiette with turnip pesto, the breadcrumbs with anchovies and burrata to lick. the moustache, as they say. Excellent quality products, impeccable service, friendly staff. Good price quality.

14/10/2024: Amazing long weekend in October here at Masseria le Carrube. Good was amazing, rooms were unique and clean, staff were very welcoming and friendly. Such a great experience and we can’t wait to come back next year :)

04/10/2024: Non posso dire che il menu non fosse buono ma se e’ un menu imposto e con un prezzo imposto ..mi aspetto molto di più e mi aspetto di poter dire wow! I menù vegetariani non sono facili ma non sono neppure come quelli vegani. Quindi una offerta più sostanziosa me la sarei aspettata. I sapori si somigliavano, mancavano di grinta e di quel tocco in più che uno chef deve dare sempre. Il morbido al finocchio lo offrirei al massimo di contorno ad una portata principale e magari su di un letto di funghi di stagione e comunque con un un po’ di spinta nel sapore..che so ..un po’ di scorza di limone? un fiore di cappero o lo stesso finocchietto proposto ma non come ramoscello di guarnizione e il crumble di ortaggi ..non pervenuto, non ha fatto la differenza in questa portata. L’ Insalata di puntarelle con funghì buona ma era giusto un assaggio. Il Panzerotto divertente si ma per il prezzo imposto magari avrei proposto un fiore di zucca ripieno o una melanzana ripiena o un arancino al grano o comunque qualcosa di più elaborato di un semplice panzerotto. Tortelli buoni ma il sapore era fin troppo delicato, il pecorino inesistente seppur menzionato e sarebbe servito a dare quella spinta nel sapore che invece è’ mancata. Dolce buono ma almeno su questa portata, se insistete con il menu fisso..proponete almeno 2 dolci e un po’ più elaborati, si preparano prima, non dovrebbero crearvi tanti problemi in cucina. Non mi faccio scrupoli perché la mia spero sarà una critica costruttiva, sono appena rientrata da Parigi dove vado spesso, in molto locali impongono il menu ..posso dire che la qualità eccelsa e l’offerta di materie di stagione mi ha permesso di dire sempre wow ed a prezzi addirittura più contenuti..uno per tutti ..Le Fumoir ..che consiglio allo chef di provare… e poi sempre e su ogni portata, c’erano almeno due scelte. Servizio ottimo ma i fiori secchi evitiamoli, mettiamo anche un semplice ramoscello di rosmarino ..anche qui ..minimo sforzo ..massima cura per l’ospite.
