27/08/2025: I have to say that the place is truly beautiful and the food is excellent, but unfortunately the prices were a bit too high for our tastes. We ordered a glass of wine, which arrived with very little wine, and the price was €10! The cover charge was €5 per person, and even water cost €5. The problem is that these prices, if I'm not mistaken, weren't clearly indicated on the menu, and we didn't expect to pay so much. The food was good, but the prices were a bit higher than we expected. I hope the restaurant can review their prices and make them more transparent for future customers. It's a shame, because the place is truly beautiful and the food is good.

25/08/2025: The meal was the best we have had in a long time. Everything was perfection and made with love. But the service and the warmth of the family staff is unmatched and beyond outstanding. Don’t miss this gem of a dining experience. You won’t regret it. The beef dish and the pasta are well known and incredible as was everything.

14/08/2025: The atmosphere and food were excellent. I would kindly ask the restaurant to update the menu prices because on the official website, a first course costs €9, but when you arrive, you'll pay around €17. Furthermore, a €6 cover charge for two people, and receiving one artichoke for €7, and the bread arriving after the first course, I find truly embarrassing. €52 for two first courses, an appetizer, and a water is honestly a bit excessive.

21/08/2025: A truly welcoming place, with very good food (especially pizza and pasta dishes), and the legendary waiter Spillo, who adds a touch of humor and jokes to every course. Must try at least once if you're in Ostuni 😊

25/08/2025: For us, it remains our favorite place. A large counter with a wide selection of very fresh meat that you can choose on the spot and it's cooked right away. The interior is spacious and bright, while the outside is a bit cramped, but pleasant. Excellent service and very friendly, helpful staff.

21/08/2025: The meat is amazing and at a great price! From this perspective, La Locanda del Macellaio is highly recommended. However, I must point out two major problems (which could be largely resolved with the owners' goodwill). Hygiene. The raw meat (which customers select at the counter before being assigned a table) is handled with bare hands by a person who alternates serving at the counter with every other activity. He touches people, objects, chairs, his own clothes, his own nose, and finally the meat. A whole different level of hygiene is required, and it wouldn't take much. Second problem: ventilation. The interior is not ventilated at all, and evidently the grill hood doesn't extract air properly. The result: the room was slightly foggy and had a constant smell of smoke. I reiterate the positive aspects for which, overall, I would recommend La Locanda: quality and price!

06/07/2025: After work, my partner and I decided to go for dinner, something light but at the same time good. On a summer evening, outside on the steps.. The two waitresses were really good, meticulous. Kind and friendly owner. Quiet and hospitable environment. Excellent quality/price ratio. Recommended.

06/07/2025: Top atmosphere. Great selection of beers, generous and tasty sandwiches, friendly and always on-point staff. The perfect place to unwind and enjoy an evening with friends. Definitely worth returning to.

01/09/2025: A beautiful location, but the prices are too high and the quality-price ratio isn't good. A €5 cover charge seems excessive, as does €5 for a 75cl bottle of water (which arrived opened). The menu is sparse. €14 for three crostini (rather small) and €18-20 for a plate of pasta are, in my opinion, too high considering the dishes are very simple and predictable. The wait for the bill was a 20-minute one.

08/09/2025: We made a reservation and got a spectacular table outside. The food was top-notch, the service attentive, and the price reasonable for the class. Highly recommended.

The best restaurant in Ostuni center according to my husband and I...the staff were very polite and professional, Giuseppe the manager was adorable!! 09/06/2025: Best vacation ever, the amazing trulli felt like a farytail. The people there are an amazing family and they made us feel apart of that family. The food was extraordinary. Superb experience.

18/05/2025: We felt very at home at this lovely farm and with Patricia and her family. The accommodation, a renovated traditional Trulli -house, was super nice and we had everything we needed. Especially having a kitchen was perfect for traveling with a baby. The dinner at the farm was very delicious. Also, we enjoyed the animals that live on the farm. Even a donkey lives there. Our 7-month-old baby liked the three very friendly dogs. I enjoyed swimming in the pool that is in a quiet area of the farm. The nature around the farm also is just beautiful (e.g. it is very nice to walk along the Aquedotto) and there are beautiful small towns near by, also some to see more traditional Trulli-houses, e.g. Alberobello. We can absolutely recommend this place to anyone! Thanks again for everything - we hope to be back one day :) Otis + family

25/08/2025: Amazing experience, the best meal we have had in Italy so far! The service was of a high standard, was modern yet authentic and interesting. The couple who own the establishment clearly love what they do! The passion shows. And then to top it off, the location…the view is first class. P.s. I recommend the fish tasting plate!

24/08/2025: Beautiful restaurant overlooking Ostuni. Unfortunately, we hadn't booked, so there were no seats on the terrace. The lady at the restaurant did everything she could to accommodate us. The restaurant is beautiful inside, too. We had a pleasant, relaxing dinner, and everything was truly delicious!

26/08/2025: The place is charming. I'm reviewing the restaurant as an exclusively vegetarian restaurant. The dishes are beautiful to look at and carefully presented, but not exceptional. The prices are higher than average, considering they don't serve meat or fish.

21/08/2025: Everything about this experience was amazing. This is the best and most beautiful Masseria in Puglia - it’s chic, modern, 5 star service & beautiful surrounds. I will never get over how gorgeous this place is. We loved our stay including the pool, lush grounds, beautiful breakfast buffet and vegetarian Puglian tasting menu we did for dinner. Please dine in their restaurant it’s amazing - loved this huge balcony we got. Ask for room 31. The insanely big balcony gave us beautiful sunset views of the pool and olive trees.
