15/08/2024: Unfortunately, our August holiday in this inn was a real nightmare. We were placed in a very small underground room, without any type of air conditioning. The air was unbreathable, so much so that many people complained the entire time and some diners even got up halfway through lunch to go outside for air. The atmosphere was stuffy and completely ruined our lunch. The only positive note was the impeccable service of the waiter Francesco who did his best despite the terrible conditions. Too bad, we expected much more.

16/08/2024: It's the second time I've come to this place, the first time a few days ago we had such a good time that we went back. But this evening terrible experience. They lost the lead, which understandably can happen considering the place is full in the middle of summer, it would have ended there with an apology but giving us priority. But no, we saw all the nearby tables being served, who in the meantime had dinner and slowly also left. Moral of the evening, we arrived at 9.50pm it's 11.45pm and we are still waiting for our order while our wine has become stale...not to mention the indelicacy of the managers.

25/08/2024: Peaceful family-friendly environment and friendly staff. Now comes the sore point...we ordered two gluten-free pizzas with bresaola and parmesan. They arrived shortly after but they were cold and hard, INEDIBLE. We communicated this to the waitress who apologised. At the checkout the owner punched the receipt, fortunately, but didn't bother to ask how it went. NO pizza, better anything else

25/08/2024: Pizza with dough for celiacs with bresaola and parmesan.. no comment. The stone is softer. Never again. 3 star service only because the waitress was the only one who felt sorry for the pizza.

04/09/2024: Da Franco is a great place where when he made them he knew how to get the best out of some bottles, he tried to understand you and tried successfully to serve you something particular. But let's get to the food. You are completely free to place a platter of cheeses and cured meats for €20, but then at the table, you explain to me what I'm eating, you tell me if the salami comes from a particular or artisanal pig, you tell me that teaspoon of jam which cheese to pair it with, show me you know what you're selling me worth its weight in gold. And then I'm free to tell you if that dish is worth €20. Same thing for the baked potatoes, seven €. Seven € four potatoes is inconceivable. You know too, Piero, that seven € for a plate of potatoes is inconceivable. One day Puglia will have fewer tourists, and I find it hard to work with the locals with (unjustified) prices like that.

27/08/2024: Excellent little restaurant. Good dishes and good service
