12/10/2025: We had dinner at Don Peppe and it was absolutely delicious. The building is beautiful with a cozy atmosphere. Chef Vincenzo and his staff were incredibly welcoming and were happy to accommodate our request to get the pistachio pasta without prawns. The deserts we had were incredible and we could not more highly recommend Don Peppe. This is a small restaurant so it is best to make a reservation to ensure your seat.

22/10/2025: We had to eat in the covered outdoor area even though it was a cold environment, the pizza was good but the food additions were cold from the fridge, we had to wait 3/4 of an hour to get a pizza, there was almost no one there, and the people who took away the pizzas were served first.

25/08/2025: A small grocery store with an outdoor dining area. The very kind owner waited for us past closing time. Delicious sandwiches and a platter of local produce. Everything tastes good! Just like it used to be! For those who don't have fancy expectations but want a quality break at a reasonable price! Thank you!

22/08/2025: We chose Sapurito for dinner based on the positive reviews, and I can't understand how it could have a rating higher than 4, given that it was truly a disaster. We ordered a pizza, two seafood sandwiches, and a tuna steak. Except for the pizza, which I'd call "edible," everything else was a total disappointment. The seafood sandwiches, priced at €14, were flavorless, the bread was dry, and we found a hair in one of the sandwiches. The tuna steak was actually a low-quality tataki, tasted like the kind from a bag, the tuna was flavorless, served with a very salty teriyaki sauce. Furthermore, the menu listed crunchy vegetables, but the celery and carrots arrived with part of their peel dirty. I truly can't understand how a restaurant can serve dishes like this! It's easier to think that four people went out on a late August evening with the sole purpose of writing a negative review of your restaurant than to have the humility and intelligence to admit that bad nights can happen in any restaurant. It's easier to offend a customer by saying that I prefer canned tuna or that I live in a parallel universe rather than eating what you serve to understand that perhaps there is always room for improvement in life and that dishes like this may be fine for tourists, but not for a local who knows tastes and ingredients perfectly. That said, you're right... I was the one who expected to find sandwiches as good as the ones I usually eat at Pescaria, or at Mangiameduse, or those made by chef Lucio Mele... actually, yes... those are from another universe!

It's a shame the service isn't up to par: the staff aren't smiling and don't take care of the customers (perhaps bordering on ignorance because we're tourists...). In short, go there for the food, not for the friendliness or the atmosphere...

12/06/2025: Finding this restaurant on our penultimate night in Puglia was a perfect end to our holiday. Quite simply choose your meat and have it cooked on a charcoal grill. A great selection of sausages and kebabs and fantastic meat. I had ribeye as 2nd course that was cooked to perfection, great location and food.

10/09/2025: One evening, we stumbled upon this pizzeria and, intrigued, decided to make a reservation. At first, when we walked in, we noticed that there was almost no one there, which had us a little worried. However, as soon as the pizza arrived, we were shocked: it was truly excellent! The pizza was cooked perfectly, even in the center, which is essential for us. My wife and I like crispy pizza, not the thick, soft Neapolitan kind, and here we found exactly what we were looking for. For this reason, we highly recommend this pizzeria and are sure we'll be back again. If you like this type of pizza, you absolutely have to try it!
