12/10/2025: We had dinner at Don Peppe and it was absolutely delicious. The building is beautiful with a cozy atmosphere. Chef Vincenzo and his staff were incredibly welcoming and were happy to accommodate our request to get the pistachio pasta without prawns. The deserts we had were incredible and we could not more highly recommend Don Peppe. This is a small restaurant so it is best to make a reservation to ensure your seat.

22/08/2025: We chose Sapurito for dinner based on the positive reviews, and I can't understand how it could have a rating higher than 4, given that it was truly a disaster. We ordered a pizza, two seafood sandwiches, and a tuna steak. Except for the pizza, which I'd call "edible," everything else was a total disappointment. The seafood sandwiches, priced at €14, were flavorless, the bread was dry, and we found a hair in one of the sandwiches. The tuna steak was actually a low-quality tataki, tasted like the kind from a bag, the tuna was flavorless, served with a very salty teriyaki sauce. Furthermore, the menu listed crunchy vegetables, but the celery and carrots arrived with part of their peel dirty. I truly can't understand how a restaurant can serve dishes like this! It's easier to think that four people went out on a late August evening with the sole purpose of writing a negative review of your restaurant than to have the humility and intelligence to admit that bad nights can happen in any restaurant. It's easier to offend a customer by saying that I prefer canned tuna or that I live in a parallel universe rather than eating what you serve to understand that perhaps there is always room for improvement in life and that dishes like this may be fine for tourists, but not for a local who knows tastes and ingredients perfectly. That said, you're right... I was the one who expected to find sandwiches as good as the ones I usually eat at Pescaria, or at Mangiameduse, or those made by chef Lucio Mele... actually, yes... those are from another universe!

11/01/2026: I had been told about the place and I was very disappointed.

04/01/2026: We had lunch with my family and relatives from Milan... the appetizer was plentiful and delicious. As soon as we arrived, we were served a bottle of water with obvious bird droppings on it, which was very serious in my opinion. After pointing it out, the waiter, laughing, told us he had left us a little souvenir (referring to the bird). Then there were some dirty plates and cutlery... it can happen, but you have to be very careful not to let it happen. In the bathroom, there's no way to change small children due to a lack of support... However, there were other shortcomings, from the menu never being brought to the rushed service. I won't go into details to avoid prolonging the story... this is simply an invitation to improve.

04/11/2025: Tonino is very friendly, as is the staff. The drinks are very good, as are the croissants, etc. You can purchase things like paper napkins, drinks, or other items. If you're hungry and want to have a pleasant time, don't hesitate to stop by.

03/02/2026: I'm giving one star because there's no such thing as a zero. The waitress was distracted; she must have passed by our table many times without cleaning it. In fact, as you can see in the photo, my ginseng was served on a dirty table, even though I asked for it to be cleaned. A little care and attention would be needed.

31/10/2025: Top notch place! As a local from Brindisi that travels all over the world, this place goes above and beyond. Beside the great food, the server that helped us was awesome, great customer service! The guys welcomed us when we got in and explained how it works, great meats and food. If you like trippa get the one in the red sauce, it’s done very well (a lot of places don’t know how to prepare trippa, they do). Traditional local food, great customer service and nice ambiance, you can see the passion in their business.

18/10/2025: What can I say? Highly recommended. Delicious meat, fast service, and impeccable. Spectacular platter, it costs 18 euros but it's worth it. Beautiful location. The bill is a little high, but you know, quality comes at a price. My only suggestion: a little house wine in bulk at a reasonable price. Recommended

Varied menu, including pizzas, meat, fish, and appetizers. ✔️ Interesting menu ✔️ Responsive staff ✔️ ​​Rustic setting ✔️ Price per person for the evening: €32 ✖️ Chairs not very comfortable

08/11/2025: Superb hospitality, very kind and helpful staff and owners, they make you feel at home. Very good appetizers and first courses, superb desserts, very unique and charming location. Relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.

21/01/2026: FABULOUS New Year's Eve A wonderful seaside property. We're not talking about luxury, but about so much tranquility in a corner by the sea, or rather, within it. Dinner and lunch were lively with music, a WONDERFUL DJ. The meals were truly excellent, with excellent service. The first courses were re-run, and waiters were present for drinks. Lots of people and so much fun. Thanks to Alessandro for his kindness and patience.

18/01/2026: I'm editing, and how? As a business, you have to accept both positive and negative reviews. How humble am I? I told the waiters directly not to bring me anything anymore because I was feeling sick. In fact, two people ate dessert at my table, and I'll continue to edit the review as long as you let me. The real reviews are on TripAdvisor, though; they're powerful there. In fact, they don't even get higher than 3. I don't care if it's 50 or 60, the 10 euro makes no difference.
