31/03/2026: Last night wasn't just a dinner, it was an experience. Puntarelle meet Chef Celso Laforgia's Assassin. Extraordinary dishes, a convivial atmosphere, and so many wonderful people united by the desire to share and showcase the Molfettese puntarelle. An experience that successfully combined flavor, tradition, and conviviality. The star of the show were the Molfettese puntarelle, showcased in every dish with great care and creativity, in an evening enriched by the presence of journalists, food, and wine bloggers. All in the splendid setting of Il Vecchio Gazebo, which has established itself as a point of reference: refined cuisine, quality ingredients, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. When local tradition and passion meet, the result can only be special.

22/05/2026: For a restaurant promoting itself as seafood-style dining, the experience was disappointing. First, We were told just one serve of fish and chips remained. we quicker changed our orders so our Uncle could have it. Second, asked if another meal included salad, were told it did not, so we ordered an extra salad — only for the meal to arrive with salad already included, plus the extra we ordered. A ploy to have us spend more! Third, The bread rolls were served in a bag without plates, and after asking, we were initially given only one plate for five people. Then asked again for plates. Forth, Most disappointing were the grilled prawns, which had not been properly cleaned and still contained the digestive tract (poo). Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

15/02/2026: I visited this restaurant with high expectations, and I must say the food was indeed good: well-prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and meticulous presentation. The service, at least initially, was also quite prompt. Unfortunately, however, the prices are decidedly high for what's on offer, and this significantly impacted the overall experience. The most negative aspect was the bill: the owner was unprofessional, and we were charged for a glass of wine we hadn't ordered. An unpleasant situation that left a bad impression of the evening. In short, the food was good, but the prices were high, and customer service could be improved.

02/02/2026: There's pizza with fries! :O The salami and margarita are definitely delicious. ;) The oven is spectacular. The interior of the building is beautiful, with arched stone, amplifying the basic speech sounds, which is annoying. Regardless, we would have eaten there the next day. It's worth booking a table in advance on a Saturday night!

21/04/2026: We had lunch as a group with a set menu. The squid ink focaccia was truly delicious, the octopus and potato salad was tender and flavorful. The pasta with beans and mussels was good. Unfortunately, we ate inside, so there was no sea view. The service was prompt. The price was perhaps a little high for the quantity, but it was also true that it was a fish-based menu.

This wasn't our first experience with them: three years ago, we chose this splendid venue for Domenico's 18th birthday, and we were equally delighted. Returning was a natural choice... and once again, they exceeded all expectations! The organization was impeccable, with meticulous attention to every detail. The elegant and welcoming atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a special evening, while the service stood out for its professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness to each guest. A special thanks goes to the director and all the staff, always available and smiling, who expertly coordinated every moment of the event, making it truly perfect. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping to create precious memories that we will always cherish.
