09/10/2025: Hello, we're very disappointed that we're not allowed to shower at this rest area. They tell us the showers are broken, but it seems that's not true; they simply don't want to let us in. We ask you to please clean and make the showers available to travelers, as required. Thank you for your attention.

29/09/2025: Salom aleikum to everyone, I arrived at the parking lot. There's no one there, plenty of free parking, and there's free lighting. The toilets are clean, but the showers are paid. There's water outside from a hose, but it's not potable. 45kph, no problem. It passed quietly and calmly. Tajikistan is a walk 🇭🇺

16/09/2025: Terrible. Terrible food. A pizza, a paposcia, and a bottle of mineral water for the price of a fish dinner. The bathroom was as disgusting as the food. Recommended only to NAS and the Guardia di Finanza, with the hope that they shut down this shameful place as soon as possible.

16/11/2025: For me this pizzeria could even close down..they are totally incompetent..they would be quicker to change jobs..I only give them 1 because 0 cannot be given..I strongly advise against it to everyone.

15/11/2025: Ordered pizza at 9pm, arrived at 11pm. Frozen and inedible. Never again. My rating would be 0 if there had been.

21/03/2026: Terrible service, we ordered a pizza at 5pm and said they had to be here by 8pm, but instead they arrived at 10:10pm and after quite a few calls they even answered us rudely, raising their voices. Service like this is unacceptable, next time don't have pizzas delivered!

18/09/2025: The food was acceptable for the price, the tomatoes on the focaccia were still cold. They seemed like they weren't expecting guests. I liked the seagull that was living close by.

06/02/2026: A wonderful experience. I went there for breakfast. The staff was friendly, helpful, and quick. It's the first pastry shop I've ever visited where I found a dark chocolate croissant on the breakfast menu, which I must say was excellent. The cappuccino was good, with a delicious creamy spread. I'll definitely be back.

20/03/2026: After booking through The Fork, we arrived and were told the restaurant was closed. Despite our reservation having been confirmed, not only did they not seat us (though that's a good thing, having only just read the reviews), they didn't even bother to let us know the restaurant wouldn't be open. I can't comment on the food, but I can certainly vouch for the utter disrespect we experienced, having us arrive at their restaurant unnecessarily and not even bothering to call us.

16/03/2026: Rustic, homey, and authentic, with a simple atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. The food is good and plentiful, simple yet tastefully prepared, and the menu also offers a good selection. The service was a bit slow, which could probably be improved, but overall, the evening was very enjoyable. I would gladly return.

27/10/2025: Cala Marin Bar was a huge disappointment. It's the bar attached to the lido, so you'd expect slightly higher prices than average, but what's truly disappointing is the poor quality of the food served. The food offering is very limited, and what little there is is sloppily prepared and poorly executed. We tried a few items on the menu, and unfortunately, almost everything was inedible. Dry sandwiches, less-than-fresh ingredients, and no attention to presentation or flavor. Everything seemed prepackaged and hastily reheated, with no regard for the final quality. The price-to-service ratio was simply unacceptable. The only positive exception was the rustico leccese, which at €3 was at least decent compared to the rest. However, one decent item isn't enough to save the overall experience. The service is slow and inattentive, with long waits even when there are no customers. Cala Marin Bar seems to thrive solely on its location, but it's completely lacking in attention and professionalism. I don't recommend it, and I don't think we'll return. There are much better options in the area.

21/09/2025: We visited a beachside bar in Italy as a group of six gay friends, and unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience. When we ordered tequila with salt and lime, the waiter realized we were gay and made a rather offensive remark, saying that “salt and lime is a lady’s thing, not for men.” He then refused to bring the accompaniments we asked for. This kind of attitude is unacceptable and shows a level of prejudice we did not expect to encounter. So here’s a heads-up to other LGBTQIA+ customers looking for a welcoming environment: sadly, this place did not treat us with the respect everyone deserves.
