02/09/2025: I had booked an 8-day full-board stay. Unfortunately, due to my wife's health, I had to cancel after two days. I left at night, informing the concierge of my early departure. I should point out that I paid for everything upon arrival. My main disappointment was not receiving a call from management. However, even though I only stayed two days, I can't say I was satisfied. I wasn't satisfied with the restaurant at all. Poor quality and limited choice of side dishes, no fruit or desserts. The beach was also very neglected. On the plus side, the room was very spacious and beautiful because it was newly built, although the bathroom lacked all the amenities. The reception was also very kind and helpful.

01/09/2025: I spent 15 days at this property with my family. I always interacted with Michele Rosa, a very kind and helpful person, always ready to answer any questions. The staff is always smiling and kind. Perfect location for those who want to go to the beach. There's not much nearby; you'll need a car to visit the nearby towns. My dogs were always pampered, and even at the beach they were almost like mascots! The only downside was the hotel meals...nothing like the restaurant across the street, which was also on the property. Excellent food and delicious pizza! Newly renovated rooms with spacious rooms and beautiful furnishings!

03/09/2025: One of the best pizzerias in the area! The quality of the ingredients is truly extraordinary: you can taste the freshness and careful selection of ingredients in every bite. The dough is light, easy to digest, and perfectly crafted, with that touch that makes each pizza unique and fragrant. The experience is completed by the kindness of the staff, always available and smiling, who make guests feel at ease from start to finish. A place you'll happily return to, sure of an evening of flavor and hospitality every time.

27/08/2025: I went last night with my dog, I ate a good pizza and drank a beer, the service was efficient, the staff was courteous while I was taking selfies, the pizza chef was looking at me, who knows what he thought, 🤣🤣🤣 nice, clean, quiet place, recommended

09/08/2025: Bella la location, camerieri molto garbati e preparati, antipasti e primi nella media , abbiamo preso un misto di 4 portate come antipasto ed orecchiette al ragù bianco di agnello come primo. I secondi molto deludenti , sia le bombette impanate che la melanzana al forno! Piatti serviti freddi soprattutto i secondi! Lo Chef dovrebbe migliorare molto la qualità delle portate!

27/04/2025: Place recommended by the hotel we stayed in. When we phoned a unique availability just for the simple gesture of having cooked ONLY for my son the pasta with sauce would deserve 5 stars but.... EXCELLENT starter and very filling. The meat is to be discussed, it wasn't very good in taste and I'm talking about dry pork meat and the taste was unpleasant while the veal meat was better but still nothing exceptional. Excellent dessert. The bill? Delivered on a notepad. Menu not present. High bill for what we ate. The place has excellent chances of growing only if it opens its doors a little more to new management and service

23/04/2025: Devo dire che i ragazzi che hanno preso in gestione il locale sono simpatici e volenterosi ... continuate così. Premetto che abbiamo preso solo due aperitivi con amici ma ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Hanno anche una certa competenza in tema di materie prime per i cocktails ... Penso che quest'estate proveremo il ristorante.

09/07/2025: siamo ritornati al Frantoio certi di trascorrere giorni meravigliosi, e così è stato! Un posto magico, ricco di storia e di dettagli in ogni angolo. Il personale sempre cortese e professionale attento alle esigenze degli ospiti e pronti ad accogliere le loro richieste. Le camere ben curate e spaziose e curate in ogni particolare. Posizione comodissima vicina a qualsiasi bella località si voglia visitare e poi, al ritorno, una comoda piscina aspetta gli ospiti che vogliono rinfrescarsi all'ombra dei meravigliosi ulivi o con un gustoso cocktail. Piante, giardino ovunque, pavoni, ulivi secolari. Insomma, un posto magico che è diventato posto del cuore

09/07/2025: Yet another highly overrated restaurant on TripAdvisor! We were four for dinner and did the wine pairing along with the tasting menu. The food overall is mediocre at best. Some dishes like the chicory (which i normally love) were tasteless and blah. No dish rose to the level of delicious. The wines were fine. You get three glasses across eight courses. A white, a rose, and a red. All serviceable but not outstanding. The service on the other hand is weird. Very disorganized. Sometimes rude. We reserved a table some weeks in advance and confirmed via email the day before. We were told dinner service starts at 8:30. We arrived at 8:30 to find the tables mostly all full with diners well into their meals. There was no host to greet us and we stood awkwardly in the courtyard waiting to be helped. When we could finally get someone’s attention, a waiter came over and searched for our name but couldn’t find it. When we paid the bill later that night we were informed the reservation was under BOTH my last name AND my wife’s (different) last name - but when trying to get seated, I provided my name and we were told that they could not find our reservation. After we finally asked whether the reservation was under my wife’s name, the waiter saw that this name was on the list, and we got a surly, “so it’s your mistake!” We also stated on several occasions that one of our family has an allergy and this was confirmed twice via email. Yet upon sitting, the server was taken by surprise by this request and needed to go talk with the kitchen. The rest of the meal was a rushed series of mediocre dishes and wine. In food and service, this restaurant does not rise to the level of excellent. The food is only mediocre and the service is disorganized and often rude.

21/08/2025: We just left this place... sitting next to a barrel... we ate well... the portions were adequate and the prices were in line with other places. The only problem is that there's almost nothing on the menu for children... in fact, with two children, we could only opt for the meatballs in tomato sauce. Otherwise, I recommend it!

30/07/2025: It's a shame that tourists like us get oil that isn't olive oil, but has an unfamiliar smell and aroma. A bottle of wine without ice, while two friends of the chef next door have all of the above. I know the food and have had much tastier meals. Overall, I certainly won't be going here again. I wish the owner more attention to everyone. Cheers.

26/05/2025: siamo stati qui a pranzo consigliati da persone del posto...piatti tipici, orecchiette alle cime di rapa..fava e cicorie...frise...burrate...tutto buono! Personale gentile, locale carino. insomma se siete in centro a Lecce, vale sicuramente una sosta. Prezzi nella norma.

19/08/2025: I don't know what to say... I recommend you don't risk it... 35 minutes to take orders, 1 hour 10 minutes for the first course to arrive, 1 hour 35 minutes for the rest of the courses... 25 minutes of time between the two (and the same order, they were all first courses, I should add), it's just unimaginable. The second courses arrived lukewarm (even though they were hot dishes). We asked for a bottle of water and parmesan cheese, which arrived when the meal was finished... The setting is pleasant, but that's not the restaurant's, but the city's; I don't intend to congratulate them for that. The service is ridiculous, a woman is working and running around, while four men do literally nothing, of which only one is responsible for orders and doesn't take them, unless you go and get them yourself by the collar. The food is okay despite everything, but don't go there unless you want to waste 3 hours of your life to be vaguely (or not at all) satisfied.

14/08/2025: Fantastic dinner, friendly and courteous staff. Prices are clearly displayed, so there are no surprises. Excellent quality, generous portions, fantastic location.

19/07/2025: Rosticceria nel centro storico di Cisternino, seppur il locale risulta datato si puo assaporare dell' ottima carne alla brace con prezzi abbastanza onesti. Anche il servizio è buono ed il personale ed i titolari sono molto gentili e cordiali.

15/06/2025: Locale con rosticceria espressa sia con ristorante che per asporto. Bancone a vista dal quale si scelgono le portate di carne che vengono poi arrostite al momento e servite espresse. Piatto forte bombette con varie farcie, gustose e classiche. Prezzi medi e gusto assicurato. Servizio rapido e cortese.

21/05/2025: I have to give 5 stars because you can't give more, the location is fantastic and tastefully decorated, the menu offers several choices, one better than the other and the chef's cheesecakes were out of this world. The service is very fast and the guys who work there love what they do. The quality/price ratio is perfectly respected. We will definitely be back to try more and more things

31/08/2025: We went for an after-dinner drink in one of Taranto's best locations. The view, next to the Aragonese Castle, is truly breathtaking. The staff welcomed us professionally and escorted us to our table. We ordered two amari and enjoyed the moonlight reflected on the sea.
