26/03/2025: Around 3:30 PM on a summer weekday, I asked for a non-alcoholic beer, and the only young bartender on duty charged me €4 for a Heineken! It wasn’t the first time I’d been there for that reason, but it had never happened to me before. I’m not going back anytime soon.

13/05/2025: Sublime setting, but catastrophic service—run away. The Da Franco Relax and More restaurant is beautiful, very beautiful. The place is well-kept, the atmosphere perfect. But that's about all we'll remember. The service was a disaster from start to finish. Dishes were sent out in a chain, without any rhythm, without attention. And above all, a huge scandal surrounding the wine: we were invited to choose a bottle from the wine bar, without ever mentioning a €15 corkage fee. The bottle listed at €55 ended up costing €70 on the bill. The icing on the cake: the owner broke the cork while opening it... and refused to replace the bottle! We had to insist for him to agree to pour us a glass—as if it were a privilege. When it came time to pay, he persisted in charging us the extra. We had to raise our voices and threaten him for us to finally take the €15 cork off. No professionalism, zero honesty. This place deserves service that matches its decor. As it stands: a place to avoid, unless you like tourist traps disguised as chic.

04/06/2025: It took a while to get served, so maybe it's better to order at the counter. Unfortunately, English wasn't helpful here, but with our broken Italian and a bit of miming, we were able to get by. The ice cream was pretty good.

13/04/2025: This is a small restaurant away from the center. He doesn't charge copay. The owner is wonderful and very nice. Even though there was a break, he prepared a pizza for us. It was very good and we were very positively surprised by the low price

23/12/2024: I'll try not to go on too long because it would be a waste of time, like the time spent in this place a few evenings ago. Just know that the waiters seem to be there by chance, they are totally uninterested in your requests and any complaints about delays in service (about 2 hours for 4 sandwiches and 2 platters). Baked potatoes never arrived, they independently decided to serve them fried, when they had already been canceled due to the incomprehensible delay and when the rest of the guests had finished their meal (i.e. dried up burgers, some burnt on the outside and raw on the inside). I won't report the interactions with the staff but they were surreal and really questionable, like the prices, a platter of 11 pieces of refined cheeses, in the sense that we are still trying to understand what we chewed, €12, one with the same cheeses ( fewer pieces) and cured meats (mostly salami), €20. Burgers for all tastes, i.e. burnt on the outside and half raw on the inside, one accompanied by a cascade of 5 fried potatoes, the others had 10. Reading the other reviews on service and food, it is not surprising that at the checkout the owner in response to the my: "I think it was the worst service of my life", responded with: "ah, why didn't you say so before?", in a flat and lobotomized tone that didn't change even when he was told that we had complained 3 times with the waiters about what was going on. This is how he typed our receipts, as if we were wishing each other happy holidays and greetings to the family, as if he were used to managing a place that has nothing to do with catering and he was only there to collect those hard-earned euros with the hard work of people who shouldn't be doing that job. If you want to open a place I recommend you come here for dinner to see how not to run a business.

15/03/2025: Piccola trattoria a conduzione familiare con ottima cucina locale. Bravissima cuoca super simpatica. Oltre alla cucina abbiamo apprezzato la freschezza della materia prima, il servizio attento e la cortesia. Stupendo il polpo alla brace con accostamenti interessanti e favolosi i primi!

19/05/2025: 05/18/2025 Celebrated my son's 1st communion, it was supposed to be an unforgettable day on the positive side, it was but on the negative side, for what I spent on the way out I went to a pizzeria. Poor service, dishes that were left on the tables, to be able to have a bottle of water half an hour of waiting. Never again ... highly not recommended ... very bad experience

04/03/2025: The beauty of the location is not equal to its management. I found the costs of the dishes exaggerated especially in relation to the quality and quantity. It was a negative experience that I will not repeat.

15/06/2025: Terrible. Excessive costs for the second Sunday of June. Dirty beach, sunbeds dirty with bird droppings, beach toilets not usable, at 10 in the morning they were already clogged. Beach bar without a POS, sparkling water that as soon as it was opened was practically completely flat. Emphasize the inexperience of the staff who, when I asked for an iced coffee, put just one ice cube in the same cup (cardboard) making the coffee barely warm and long (undrinkable). I don't think I'll be back

02/06/2025: Disappointing experience and disastrous management of the emergency. Unfortunately, I have to share an extremely negative experience from every point of view. After ordering two first courses and a second course, we found ourselves waiting *1 hour and 15 minutes* without receiving any concrete explanation. The waiters simply passed the responsibilities between themselves, with vague answers and attitudes that, as time went by, seemed like real mockery - phrases like "I'll be right there", without then returning to the table are just one example. Only when we got up to ask for the bill did the lady at the cash register finally take action, promising us that we would be served shortly. No prior communication, no real explanation up to that point, and a general sense of neglect towards the customer. Apparently the mix-up was caused by a malfunction of the handheld devices, which caused the orders in the kitchen to go haywire. It is understandable that technical problems can happen, but what was unacceptable was the total lack of professionalism in managing the emergency: no information, no empathy, no respect. In the end we were given a discount and an apology. In short: we felt ignored, mocked and not considered as customers. An experience we would never want to repeat. Never again.

01/04/2025: I was there this morning the girl at the counter was so rude and dirty... I will never set foot in that place again! And above all I suggest to the owners to urge the girl to put her fingers in her nose while she works with those big nails then! SQUALID
