28/06/2025: Does it ever happen to you to go to a restaurant on the first night of your vacation, fall in love with the dishes and the location and go back every day for a whole week? For us it was like this…. We discovered Marea, after a careful selection of the best locations where you can taste typical Apulian dishes. The first night we entered and found ourselves in a very elegant, refined and cared for place in every detail. You enter breathing in a scent coming from fresh flowers, candles and divided into two areas, one outside in the garden, the other inside with air conditioning. We tried various dishes on the menu, from fresh raw fish of excellent quality and coming from local areas, to first courses, for any taste and delicious, to some typical dishes, a real treat! Even the desserts and sorbets of our own production. Excellent wine cellar. The management is done directly by the owners, each specialized in their role, done with Love and Niche. Thank you for letting us taste your wonderful dishes and for letting us breathe the scent of home, Yours. Impeccable and that we already remember with nostalgia.!

03/05/2025: Personale gentile, la cameriera che ha preso le ordinazioni era simpatica paziente e disponibile anche a consigliare. Ho assaggiato il piatto del contadino e l'ho trovato interessante, a me le fave non piacciono ma le polpette erano comunque interessanti. Complimenti

27/04/2025: Locale gradevole e comodo nei pressi delle Grotte di Castellana, ristorante e pizzeria che offre menù vario e prodotti regionali. Ambiente gradevole e moderno con spazi sia esterni che interni. Come punti di forza: cucina buona, servizio professionale, garbato e disponibile, ottima vicinanza logistica alle grotte. Come punti di debolezza: prezzi tendenzialmente alti a parità di piatti o prodotti (sia serviti che d' asporto) ed a parità di locali analoghi.

04/06/2025: An old historic bar in a very central area where you can find artisanal ice cream that has been passed down from generation to generation. The service is quiet but also due to the age of the owners, but overall I recommend everyone to eat Pierino's ice cream

27/06/2025: Fantastic place, where you can spend a relaxing day. Fine design, some service to improve for the beach, where you can admire the Gargano mountains in a crystal clear sea. Superb cuisine and not for everyone. Alessandro the waiter will make you feel at home

24/06/2025: I had a fantastic day at Baia Petra!! The service was impeccable, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant offers delicious and fresh cuisine, with dishes prepared with care and attention. The view of the sea is breathtaking and the relaxation on the beach was total. I highly recommend trying and enjoying the sea. I will definitely be back!" 5/5 stars.

18/05/2025: let's start with the pizza: so much stuff! really good!! with the possibility of choosing the type of dough. really modest prices. The staff: despite always being super busy and in a hurry, they are really very nice and kind. Highly recommended!!!

14/06/2025: On our way back from our vacation we stopped in Polignano. We happened to be here and were satisfied with the lunch! Very fresh fried food and excellent quantity of fish! It was all delicious! Friendly staff, I recommend it. Average price.

11/04/2025: We wanted to eat sea urchin, but there was none, but they ordered it within an hour. Everything is fresh, they do their best to get the guest with good feeling. In the small shop, you can choose from the counter, and they take it to the restaurant, where it is baked right there as you wish. I highly recommend it!

01/03/2025: I came back here because I had been 4 years ago and I had a great time, while this time unfortunately I have to say that I didn't really have a good time, not so much because of the food nor because of the very empathetic and professional waiter but rather because of what happened in the kitchen I think when the owner arrived we heard shouts of swear words and curses followed by I think the door being slammed very violently so everyone in the room was astonished while from the kitchen you could hear I don't care if they hear it in the room... Here I believe that all this is unacceptable and I will certainly never go back again!

09/05/2025: For the first time in this hotel in Mattinata. On other holiday occasions we have stayed in other facilities in the area. On this occasion at La Rotonda we appreciated the excellent location directly on the sea, the kindness and smiles of the staff. Varied and abundant breakfast. Excellent cleanliness of the rooms and external areas, such as the beautiful swimming pool.

02/07/2025: A great experience. Welcoming staff, no nonsense down to earth restaurant serving excellent food at very reasonable prices. As you enter, you’re greeted and directed through a beaded curtain and once through you enter an amazing ‘fishmongers’ We chose a huge swordfish steak and a salmon steak. It came with salad and little oven potatoes. The knife went through the cooked steaks like butter, cooked to perfection ❤️. All washed down with 2 bottles of excellent local vino blanca. 140 euros!! We’d have paid double. Best meal of our holiday x
