04/09/2025: First of all, we have to thank Mirco the tobacconist for recommending this place to us, even calling to ask if they had room for two people and our four-legged friend. Kindness is disappearing everywhere these days, but not in San Michele. Fortunato is the host—I say "host" because as soon as you walk in, you feel like you're at home. The seafood menu is impeccably prepared, the extensive menu makes you smile with every course, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is incredibly kind. I thank Fortunato again, and as I told him, we were the lucky ones. A heartfelt thank you to him and all the staff for a wonderful and enjoyable evening. Thank you, and see you next time.

27/08/2025: We had a fish-based dinner with a house menu that included 5 or 6 starters plus fried food to finish, all of which were of good quality.

12/09/2025: Hotel with a spacious garden, pool, bar, and access to the beach via stairs. Beautiful location and sea views, helpful and friendly staff. I recommend it.

11/09/2025: A decent hotel with a nice size rooms. They do need some updates on the rooms since they are old. The shower is very small and the towels are very thin. The pool is great but you will need a bathing cap to swim in the pool. You have easy access by stairs to the beach with pebbles. In the evening they often have weddings and depending on your room location this will bring some noise.

28/03/2025: Poor service to say the least: women's party in chaos, seats all next to each other; pizza below expectations: cold chips on top, an hour and a half of waiting, fried chips, also cold for the modest sum of €7. Never again.

22/08/2025: Passing through for a rural visit, we entered the restaurant a little hesitant due to the low prices displayed outside. The three of us ordered 2 grilled lamb, good and plentiful, 1 veal chop good and plentiful and 2 mixed salads... we were very satisfied with both the dishes and the price, really fair considering it is a tourist place... if we happen to be in these parts again we will definitely come back to eat here.

21/08/2025: Excellent value for money.... The food is good, as is the pizza... But as they say, "you pay for quality," but if you want to spend your money and eat well, try it....

02/07/2025: We returned after 5 years and found the place changed and enlarged, we thought! How beautiful!... Too bad the bombette are no longer like those of years ago, they are less delicate. But the worst thing was the wine that was starting to taste like vinegar. I hope it was just a coincidence.

08/05/2025: Local meat joint. Meat shop. Mostly visited by locals. They speak mostly Italian. There is no menu to read. They don't give you the opportunity to order what you want because they don't speak English well. They served us whatever they thought. We were offered local lamb specialties, but not everyone in the company eats lamb. Nice local beer. A delicious platter of delicacies - pictured. Very tasty meatballs - they didn't stay for a photo. Delicious baked potatoes. If you like lamb, I would recommend this place. There were steaks on display but we couldn't try them because they didn't let us choose from the display. Rather, we are disappointed. On leaving, we saw at the other tables that they also offer salad. Serves us for dessert homemade cantocini.

08/03/2025: In this 24-hour service station you can taste excellent food at very competitive prices. The baked pasta is excellent, as is the porchetta, a must try!

19/07/2025: I'm very sorry to have to express my profound disappointment regarding my experience with this pizzeria. If I remember correctly, I've ordered takeout pizza here three times (picked up by us and eaten at home), choosing it primarily because it's the closest to my house (about 5 km). However, both the last time (I don't remember the exact date) and tonight, the pizzas were, once again, completely inedible: rock hard and burned on the bottom (the one in the photo is actually the least serious!). Of the three pizzas ordered (as shown on the receipt), after cutting them to avoid the charred parts (the bottom) and the burned edge, only one remained intact and edible. We practically threw the other two away. Last time, for the sake of peace, I didn't contact the restaurant, thinking it was an isolated incident. Tonight, however, I called to report the problem. The kind lady on the phone offered to return the pizza and make me a new one, but unfortunately I had to leave in a hurry for work, so I decided against it. In the end, after discarding the burnt parts, the pizza was only half eaten (basically, when you cut it, one pizza came out), eaten by two people. I left and stopped at another pizzeria for a quick panzerotto. By the way, the French fries were also unsatisfactory: a strong onion smell made the little girl refuse them because onion makes her nauseous. In short, over €20 wasted. A word of advice to customers, especially regulars: before picking up the pizza, check it immediately. And I'm not referring to the rock-hard pizza (perhaps overcooked), but the charred pieces. While a single bite of burnt food isn't dangerous, regular consumption is still not recommended, as it's carcinogenic. Conclusion? A ruined evening. After two failed attempts out of three, sadly I won't be returning.

28/06/2025: I call to order a pizza at home at 7pm asking if it was possible to have it delivered before 9pm because we know Saturdays are always busy and I understand I work too so I imagine it will be packed, they confirm the time but it is 10pm and there is not even a shadow of the pizza I try to call but no one answers. Lack of professionalism I do not recommend at all

14/06/2025: On our way back from vacation, we stopped in Polignano. We stumbled upon this place by chance and were delighted with the lunch! The fried fish was incredibly fresh and the quantity was excellent! Everything was delicious! The staff were friendly, I highly recommend it. The price was average.

11/04/2025: We wanted to eat sea urchin, but there was none, but they ordered it within an hour. Everything is fresh, they do their best to get the guest with good feeling. In the small shop, you can choose from the counter, and they take it to the restaurant, where it is baked right there as you wish. I highly recommend it!

21/06/2025: Ordered for months, I was a loyal customer of the pizzeria. One evening, two pizzas arrive, a Wurstel and chips with inedible refried chips and a cooked ham and mushrooms with very old and poor quality cooked ham, a terrible taste. We call, they say they will give a discount on the next order. We order the following week, (that is, tonight and they actually gave the discount), a Wurstel and chips, which arrives without Wurstel. When contacting, they say that we made a mistake (three witnesses present, that we communicated WURSTEL AND PATATIZZA, AND NOT PATAPIZZA as they stated). We ask to send it corrected given the series of errors, they say that we should have paid for it, out of decency (perhaps realizing), it is sent back at no cost. Yes, but BURNED, this one too inedible. Really a shame, especially having been customers for a long time, we would never have thought of receiving such a service. Unfortunately (but up to a certain point) we will not order again.

13/06/2025: Really good rotisserie and pizzas, with more than affordable prices. Also excellent for those with special dietary needs: there are alternative flours suitable for celiacs, and they are not made just for the sake of it - they are really good. The service is fast, friendly and professional. A simple place but that does things well.

19/07/2025: Excellent product, a refined atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. The meat counter was well-trained and knowledgeable, guiding us through our selections with expertise. Highly recommended for meat lovers!

19/07/2025: A nice place with outdoor tables in a quiet area. A pleasant, quiet Friday evening, with few people. Even though I'd specified that we'd like to dine outside, the table we reserved was inside (they managed to accommodate us because it wasn't too crowded). The meat? Perhaps we were too used to it, but the counter wasn't as well-stocked as we'd probably expected, and, honestly, the quality of the bombette and the entrecote didn't entirely satisfy us. Prices were high, but luckily we had the TheFork discount.

18/08/2025: I issued a receipt for two coffees and a dessert. Unfortunately, my wife couldn't have the coffee, so I asked the cashier if I could get a refund. She politely nodded in the affirmative... When I got to the cashier, a gentleman I assumed was the owner told me it wasn't possible, but rather he would give me a bottle of water for the same amount. The discussion became heated because the cashier didn't want to refund the coffee, when a very kind gentleman (whom I thank) offered to give me the coffee and use the portion of the receipt already issued. The "gentleman at the cashier" didn't agree with this solution, reiterating his only "argument" that it couldn't be done... Obviously, it's not about the amount to be paid, but rather how the customer/tourist should be treated. Remember that the customer/tourist must be respected because they aren't just to be fleeced... "NOT THAT WHAT!"

30/07/2025: A lovely café (especially for those who prefer not to delve into the typical local shops) just a few meters from the Grotta di San Michele. Local products, but also excellent coffee, pastries for all tastes, and gelato. A must-try.

25/08/2025: THE TOP OF THE AREA PERFECT ATMOSPHERE IN SHORT IT'S VERY GOOD COMPLIMENTS TO THE STAFF AND ESPECIALLY THE OWNER AN IDOL.

23/08/2025: Agriturismo San Giuseppe is surrounded by nature, with ample space for horseback riding. Furthermore, lunch was excellent, the service excellent, the waiters always available to meet the guests' needs, kind and attentive, with a warm smile. The owner is also always friendly, coming to the meeting to satisfy the guests and being approachable, and occasionally checking in to see how the event was going. Well done, keep it up! 😉💪 We'll gladly return.

28/07/2025: The food was really poor quality; you'd expect much more from a farmhouse. Only the location was beautiful.

22/08/2025: What can I say... impeccable! The pasta sauce was generous but light, and the portions were generous. The strozzapreti were a masterpiece! Fresh and light fried food. The grilled calamari were incredibly tender. The lively house rosé wine went down like water, a traitor. And to finish, a homemade almond and fig spumone that could be illegal in 48 states, it was so good. The price was reasonable for the truckload of fish we ordered. All this topped off with a terrace overlooking the castle and harbor. Breathtaking. Absolutely worth trying. Recommended.

22/08/2025: Dry, overcooked, frozen fish, small portions, filthy bathroom, let alone the kitchen (flooded).
