31/08/2025: We went for an after-dinner drink in one of Taranto's best locations. The view, next to the Aragonese Castle, is truly breathtaking. The staff welcomed us professionally and escorted us to our table. We ordered two amari and enjoyed the moonlight reflected on the sea.

The restaurant is welcoming and well-maintained, with an atmosphere that fully reflects Puglian tradition. The cuisine was consistently excellent: well-prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and authentic flavors. The service was also impeccable, with friendly, professional, and polite staff. A restaurant that combines taste, friendliness, and local identity.

11/01/2026: A beautiful place, indeed, but unfortunately the quality of the pastry remains in the quiet mediocrity of a Taranto pastry shop or pseudo-pastry shop. We ordered two croissants, and they were nothing like French croissants, even leaving a bad taste in our mouths at the end, as is typical when they don't use high-quality ingredients but substitutes, as happens in 95% of Taranto's pseudo-pastries. And the pan au chocolat seems like a parody of French ones (note that we were just in Paris, but the frozen ones you buy online are much better). A "chiumm," as they say in Taranto. A total pastry chef's disgrace. I urge Bar Royal Royal to hire pastry chefs who know how to use butter, or to hire someone who knows how to do it and can therefore be considered a real pastry chef, such as Victory in Talsano or Pasticceria la Gioia.

01/01/2026: We stayed with Mrs. Rita. The welcome was warm, the rooms impeccable, and the sea view breathtaking. Mrs. Rita is a sweetheart, incredibly helpful and courteous. We'll definitely be back!

26/09/2025: The restaurant's seaside terrace is beautiful, and that's precisely why it draws customers. But from there on, everything goes downhill: the service is inefficient and poor quality, and the food isn't worth the price. Wrong orders, constant misunderstandings, and waiters don't know which table to bring dishes to and shout orders at customers.

09/03/2026: A disappointing experience. €9.40 for two coffees and two small pasticciotti seems out of line. What I find most exaggerated is the cover charge for even a simple coffee consumed at the table, especially considering the tiny table was completely bare. In my opinion, this is truly unfair value for money.

09/03/2026: A completely different restaurant than usual. A large, homey dining room that takes you back to the 1950s thanks to the furnishings and details, a record player with soft music to accompany a relaxing dinner and excellent wine 🍷. We tasted an excellent assassina, a mix of meat and pizza, all excellent. The staff were kind and welcoming. We'll be back with pleasure :)

24/02/2026: I love going back, it really feels like home... at grandma's house. This time it was even better, with a private area where we were all in the group, all to ourselves, practically family chats. Spectacular food, very kind owner, always ready to chat. It couldn't have been better, in my opinion.

27/11/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance, and it was a fantastic experience. The food and service were top-quality. The location was deliberately retro, with the option of enjoying the food outside. The first course, mezzé paccheri with scorpion fish, was fantastic. The owner, Pino, was kind and helpful. All the staff were excellent. Give it a try.

23/09/2025: A terrible experience at Il Torrione restaurant in San Nicola (Tremiti Islands). The service was truly poor: the staff was uninterested and inattentive. The fish seemed anything but fresh, with unpleasant flavors that made it seem like it had been sitting in the kitchen for too long. There was no choice on the extremely limited and unexplained menu. The side dishes arrived cold and tasteless, as if they had been prepared hours earlier. Finally, the bill was decidedly steep for the quality and overall experience. I strongly advise against this place: a disappointment in every way.

30/09/2025: It depends on what you're looking for. Here you'll find hospitality, courtesy, clean spaces, a stunning sea view (choose a "sea view" room), a porch to relax on, and a beautiful garden. The rooms are tidy and clean, but dated. The price is also reasonable... we had a really good time, and if we return to Bosa, we'll definitely stay here again.

14/09/2025: The hotel is in an exceptional location, the staff are friendly and helpful, the parking is onsite, and the restaurants across the street are all good. Prices are in line with the location, and the sea is beautiful. The entire coast, all the way to Oristano, is well worth a visit. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the bathroom is a bit cramped.
