20/08/2025: Passing through Ivrea, with many businesses closed for the Ferragosto holiday, we stumbled upon La Mugnaia by chance. We hadn't booked, but they arranged a table for four for dinner. It was a pleasant and satisfying discovery. The dishes are excellent and beautiful to look at; innovative and meticulously prepared with carefully chosen ingredients. The wine selection is excellent, pairing beautifully with the dishes, and the service is attentive and attentive. The quality-price ratio is more than fair. A place I recommend and would gladly return to, if it weren't so far from Friuli.

10/08/2025: I went there for lunch with a friend after a nice bike ride. The people were very friendly, the food was good, the wait time was excellent, and the price was average! I would go back 😄😁😀

15/08/2025: An excellent restaurant just outside Ivrea and near the Via Francigena, we discovered it by chance when we didn't want to settle for a sandwich at a rest stop. We'd also recommend it to anyone traveling along the A5 motorway and wanting to take a few extra minutes for a leisurely lunch. The restaurant is welcoming and well-maintained, with a lovely terrace overlooking the surrounding woods. The quality/price ratio is truly excellent, even for those who, like us, opt for the à la carte option (during the week, a daily menu is usually available for around €12). The courtesy and helpfulness of the staff and the owner are top-notch. We definitely enjoyed it.

22/08/2025: Superb family dinner, we came back for the second time in three days. It's addictive. Ravioli del plin, tagliolini with mushrooms, veal with tuna sauce, and fillet with mushrooms. Warm dessert: puff pastry with peaches and dark chocolate. Everything was top-notch. Family-run. From the outside, it looks a bit so-so, and inside, it's a bit dated, but don't let appearances fool you. Highly recommended.

08/08/2025: The best pizza we've ever eaten! 🍕🔥 We went to Liviu Sava's Pizza VIP in Ivrea and... what can I say? There aren't enough words to describe how good the pizza was. So good we devoured it without even thinking about taking a photo—and that says it all! Perfect dough, super-fresh ingredients, flavor combinations worthy of true connoisseurs. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. You can taste the passion and care behind every pizza that comes out of the oven. But it's not just the food: Liviu is a wonderful man, kind, welcoming, one of those who makes you feel at home from the first moment. The atmosphere is simple, authentic, and precisely for this reason, special. We'll definitely be back soon, because a pizza like this is unforgettable. 02/09/2025: I'm sorry, but we didn't have a great experience. From the outside, the place looks promising, but the interior is truly dated, not to mention outdated. There are many photos from the good old days, featuring illustrious guests, but the place has stopped there. This applies also to the quality of the food, the presentation, and the service (which was courteous, but that's not enough these days).

10/05/2025: Ideal for the lunch break, it also offers vegetarian and vegan menus. Always fresh and local products, good quality and quantity of dishes offered at reasonable prices.

07/07/2025: Restaurant with innovative cuisine located at the beginning of the historic center of Ivrea near the Lungo Dora. Rustic interior with tables outside. I did the Vecchio Ponte menu with appetizer, first course, second course based on fish and dessert. The lampuga civiche with avocado and tiger's milk and the swordfish steak with salicornia and gazpacho were good, the buttons with lobster and potatoes were decent and the portion was really small (4 in number), the dessert was very good (pineapple, passion fruit, coconut and vanilla Bavarian cream). Menu price €45 excluding the €4 cover charge (very high). One waitress is a bit grumpy, while the owner is very kind. The wine list is extensive.

06/07/2025: The location of the Ristorante San Maurizio is truly enchanting: a small jewel immersed in a suggestive context, with a refined atmosphere and a cuisine that promises sensory emotions. The dishes are well presented, with quality raw materials and combinations that reveal a creative hand and attention to detail. However, the overall experience was penalized by a welcome at the reception that was far from up to par with the rest. It would be desirable for the management to pay more attention to the initial customer experience, because when you cross the threshold of a restaurant like this, you expect not only a good meal, but also a warm and professional welcome.

14/08/2025: Pleasant and attentive service. Honest and fairly light cuisine (not too heavy or too greasy), which is very pleasant. Pizzas, starters and main courses are well-filled. Delicious strawberry meringue, pavlova style, not too sweet. You leave feeling full but not bloated 👍

10/07/2025: While passing through Ivrea for an evening, we discovered this restaurant and had a great time. We ate typical dishes outdoors and were treated with kindness and professionalism. The price was fair. I highly recommend it.

26/07/2025: A piadine @9,50 shoul be filled with more then a little cheese (you can’t even taste) and a huge portion rucola.
