12/05/2024: During our recent visit to a charming lakeside restaurant, we had an exceptional dining experience. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, with a special mention for the waitress Marina, whose friendliness made our day even more pleasant. The dishes were not only delicious but also well presented, demonstrating care and attention to detail. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a combination of great food and a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere.

29/03/2024: Very well placed, the view from the balcony was magnificent. The rooms are old and smell of mothballs. The staff very welcoming and ready to help you. Breakfast very good.

19/03/2024: Great hotel location for Orta san Gulio. Very welcoming & accommodating staff, free parking which is a bonus in this area. Short walk to the town. View from the Suite terrace was fabulous!

04/05/2024: Unfortunately I wasn't able to have lunch or dinner in the only restaurant on the island of San Giulio but upon entering the bar to purchase a couple of mineral waters, the beautiful and attentive lady at the bar counter allowed me to visit the part of the restaurant with lake view: "the terrace on the lake" and briefly explained to me how the dinners "work"! There are three "pick-ups" (to use the word she used): at 7.30pm, 8.00pm and 8.30pm from the Orta pier which are none other than the departures of the private boat service that takes customers directly to the restaurant. Evening reservations: for dinner, are essentially based on availability at these three times. Finding myself sitting on a bench in the square of Orta right in front of the island on Saturday evening, I could see the comings and goings of the boat bringing the diners of the restaurant back to dry land! PS From what I could see the position of the terrace is not strictly in front of Orta, in short the view you can enjoy is more towards the open lake, towards Gozzano, if I'm not mistaken, BUT this does not mean that dining there in the evening must be extremely suggestive and romantic!

26/03/2024: Lively pizzeria at fair prices.

18/03/2024: We were on the first evening of our stay in this very nice and welcoming pizzeria in the center of Orta. In addition to the really good pizza, we were satisfied by the kind and welcoming staff also towards Bloom, our golden retriever who was very happy to have spent an evening in the company of people who loved her. We recommend it for every aspect!

09/05/2024: Booked for May 1st, we were undecided between two restaurants and were more interested in another which however had no room. Even reading the reviews, the impression is that the location is excellent but the food is not so good... from personal experience I have to disagree! The welcome was excellent, a young waitress pleasantly looked after us throughout the lunch, making the atmosphere even more pleasant. The dishes were delicious, we ordered two first courses, two second courses and two desserts. The price is appropriate for the dishes. Not the usual chic restaurant with mini portions that we were expecting, we finished lunch satisfied. Excellent experience, we will be back.

15/08/2023: Everything was perfect in this restaurant with creative cuisine full of flavors, it's exactly for this kind of experience that we love Italian cuisine! And what's more, the atmosphere and welcome match the cuisine. Well done and thank you!

09/08/2023: Locale accogliente e cibo buono. Abbiamo mangiato le tagliatelle con sugo di cinghiale. Abbiamo avuto un problema ma la proprietaria lo ha risolto in modo brillante. Consigliato.

23/03/2024: Classic, very large pub in front of Villa Crespi and near the entrance to the Sacro Monte di Orta. Very large sandwiches and wraps, excellent and well filled. Super fries! Excellent variety of beers. I would just add a little more choice on the grill side.
