Delightful staff who served us very well.
Slightly high prices, but for the service and the products used it is certainly worth it. If you pass by Ovada you must try it.

04/07/2025: Today, while I was traveling to Genoa, I stopped for lunch at this restaurant that I have been frequenting for a few years and I enjoyed a truly delicious first course that has been on the menu for just over two months.
Riso Vialone Nano au gratin in the oven with cuttlefish, clams, mussels and scampi ... an explosion of flavors ... simply exceptional. A first course prepared with skill and art that is absolutely worth trying and enjoying.

23/06/2025: Very nice farmhouse suitable for everyone, even those with children. The rooms are rustic and very welcoming. The spa is fantastic. The food is excellent and I won't say anything about the wines. The friendly staff is very helpful. A flaw for some is perhaps that there is not much coverage for cell phones, often you remain isolated. However, the atmosphere is one of pure relaxation.
23/06/2025: A beautiful farm turismo in the quiet Camino.
The surroundings are beautiful, but not suitable for people who like a bit of liveliness. Go there especially for peace.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is fine but do not expect over the top luxury.
Our room was very small, like a small attic room, but very cozy and clean. The bed slept well.
The swimming pool was lovely and there is always the possibility to eat or drink something at the bar, so that you do not have to go looking in the afternoon (which is sometimes the case in these quiet surroundings).

10/06/2025: The place is very nice, with a well-furnished interior, but there is the possibility of sitting in the courtyard in front, where we preferred to sit. I must say that the atmosphere is very intimate and pleasant. It is a pity that, at a certain point, the automatic lamps on the roof were turned on, whose light was excessive and intense, unfortunately not controllable by the manager of the place.
The waiters are all very kind and helpful. The menu is inviting; we tried both the first and second courses, but we preferred the first. The desserts are also good. Wide variety of wines.
The prices are slightly high, but justified by the environment that the place offers.

Excellent food, wines and service. I also really like its location, in a street that is not at all pompous and just this quiet and with a slightly decadent charm that contrasts with a modern but cozy place.

29/06/2025: When I pass by these parts I always try to come and eat at this restaurant, despite the fact that the prices have increased as unfortunately happens everywhere, a certain balance is always maintained.
The portions are right, the food is good and the overall pleasantness of an old traditional trattoria.
For dinner fried anchovies with a pleasant flavor, the trio of cheeses unfortunately lost a bit of its aroma going directly from the fridge to the plate... I understand that in a simple place you can't do otherwise.
The risotto was good despite the fish ingredients being basic; mussels, clams and shrimp. The dessert was delicious.
I recommend it to everyone

15/06/2025: Simple but attentive service, thanks to Angy who knows how to understand and anticipate customer requests. Abundant and quality food, not very greasy. Choice between 3/4 first courses and 3/4 second courses all for 13 euros during the week and 18 euros on Sunday.

05/07/2025: I say it honestly: it is not the best food in the area, there are better piayyi and less good dishes (which is very normal) but overall the place is truly 5 stars.
Friendly and helpful service, always attentive to needs and willing to adapt some dishes based on needs.
The menu is extensive and offers a choice for everyone: meat, fish, pizza (the focaccino/focaccia al fornay is better than the pizza in my opinion) and a lot of vegetarian options, with several dishes also adaptable to those who follow a vegan diet (ask the staff!).
The place is very large, it is advisable to book because it is very inflated due to its extensive menu and the fact that it is truly a place suitable for families and large groups. Furthermore, in the summer there is a really pleasant outdoor garden that makes you forget that the place is located on a busy provincial road (the garden is on the opposite side and you cannot hear the noise of the cars).
Plus: large parking lot.
I really recommend it to anyone who is in the area and needs a quick lunch/dinner or to anyone who needs to book for a large group with different tastes/dietary needs.

21/04/2025: Full marks. Here is the motto
"Quality and Care" program. We're in line...always. Ovada means farinata. Typical locality, rustic in the middle of town. People come and go and certainly keep coming back. 5 stars so that everything stays as it is.
As a tip:
Buy rolls beforehand and put the farinata in them. Fingers stay clean and the taste is simply great.
