19/06/2025: Good restaurant and pizzeria at the gates of Castellamonte, the pizza is very good as is the cuisine. Too bad about the inconvenience in finding parking, otherwise it would be perfect, the service at lunch could be improved. Last time I ordered first and second course, but the second never arrived.

14/07/2025: Terrible experience. When you arrive, no one speaks to you. You find your own table. After more than an hour and two reminders, they come to take your order. Apart from one table, the place was empty. The mixed fried fish arrived cold and soggy. We cleared our table and went to get coffee at the counter. Furthermore, despite knowing there's always a DJ playing on Saturdays, they booked a live band, then at the last minute wanted to cancel... absolutely SHAMEFUL.

15/06/2025: Magnificent and spacious western-style restaurant; the food was tasty and well cooked, the staff was friendly and easy-going (the waitresses and waiters did their utmost to please the many customers). The outdoor area was also very interesting, but it was unusable due to the heat (there was air conditioning inside). It's worth it, we'll be back

04/05/2025: Beppe Gallina è ormai da anni una certezza per torinesi e turisti. In entrambi i locali situati a Porta Palazzo e a San Salvario si mangia pesce fresco con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. I piatti sono casalinghi, le porzioni abbondanti e il servizio semplice ma curato. La formula all inclusive (un piatto a scelta, un bicchiere di vino, acqua e focaccia) a 17 euro è geniale. Consigliatissimo.

25/04/2025: Sono stato per una cena con la famiglia in visita a Torino. Locale molto accogliente, cucina ottima preparata in maniera espressa proprio davanti a te. Sapori sopraffini, raffinati, sembrava di avere il mare in bocca. Complimenti per la gentilezza, la cortesia e la squisitezza dei piatti serviti. Consiglierò assolutamente e tornerò senza dubbio

11/07/2025: Excellent pizza, eaten last night with my family, excellent service, nice and kind girls, shame about the limited parking even if we had no problems, we will definitely be back to try the fish that passed before our eyes!!!

09/06/2025: J’étais déjà venue au Pastificio Defilippis et j’en avais gardé un excellent souvenir. Cette fois encore, l’expérience a été très agréable : les serveurs sont vraiment gentils et ont réussi à nous trouver une table alors qu’on n’avait pas réservé. Le cadre est charmant, bien décoré, on s’y sent bien. La cuisine est toujours aussi bonne. La première fois, j’avais mangé des pâtes à l’arrabbiata que j’avais adorées, et j’étais venue exprès pour les reprendre — mais ici la carte change souvent, donc il faut savoir qu’on ne retrouve pas forcément les plats d’une fois sur l’autre. Ce n’est pas un restaurant de « classiques » comme la carbonara, le pesto ou le ragù : ici, on trouve plutôt des recettes originales comme des pâtes aux courgettes ou aux fruits de mer. C’est une cuisine qui sort de l’ordinaire, raffinée, bien travaillée. En revanche, les prix sont un peu élevés (comptez facilement 17-18 € le plat), et les portions sont assez petites — on a encore un peu faim en sortant. Donc le rapport qualité-prix peut paraître un peu juste. Mais les desserts sont très bons aussi, et l’ensemble reste une belle adresse si vous cherchez un resto de pâtes un peu différent à Turin.

12/06/2025: Dinner. 3 portions Fried bread with raw ham and burrata (so delicious), Paela Valenciana X4 (very good and plentiful), dessert (2 cheesecakes and 2 chocolate and mint semifreddo), 2 sparkling waters, 2 beers, 2 glasses of Arneis wine and 4 coffees, 30 Euros per person. What can I say, honest price, perfect service, excellent quality. We had a great time. RECOMMENDED

03/06/2025: Really disappointed with the pizzas with undercooked tomato sauce, even sour. Especially avoid ordering the Pistacchiosa for dessert, as big as a pizza, hot, cold pistachio cream and cold strawberry coulis; I couldn't eat it just by the look of it (quite disgusting). Honestly, this is a place to avoid.

15/03/2025: Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente, in cucina c'è qualcuno che conosce bene il pesce, e lo sa cucinare altrettanto bene. Servizio eccellente, se si vuole mangiare pesce bene, ed ad un prezzo eccellente, è il posto giusto. Riguardo alla pizza al tegamino, fatta bene, ma i cultori della pizza potrebbero un pochino, storcere il naso, non per la qualità, ma per le abitudini alimentari consolidate. Comunque andate a mangiare qua, che non sarete delusi.

31/03/2025: E' la quinta volta che torno in questo agriturismo e ogni volta mi sembra migliore della precedente. Piatti molto buoni e genuini, dagli antipasti, ai due primi, ai due secondi e al tris di dolci. Personale competente e veloce nel servizio. Ambiente tranquillo, BAGNI PULITI E PROFUMATI (e non è un dettaglio). Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto competitivo. Da provare, per chi ancora non l'ha fatto!

08/06/2025: I had already been as a guest at the Locanda some time ago and wanted to return for my birthday on Saturday evening; good food, excellent mountain egg and risotto with shrimp tartare, beautiful Locations. Terrible service and there were only three tables, waitress glacial and not very interested. I asked for a detail on the catch of the day, a dry "No" response without further explanation. We understood that there were options for desserts off the menu from the next table! At the bill the owner didn't say a word about how we had found it! ... quite strange even in a pizzeria they ask you that. I never write reviews and I always respect the places I go to but this time I had a really bad experience! Maybe only the complete menus are welcome? As far as it may interest the Locanda, even if I really don't think so, given other reviews, I don't think I'll return!

11/05/2025: Non ci sono parole per descrivere questa esperienza, posso solo dire di non andarci per non aspettare ore, mangiare nulla e soprattutto la pessima qualità del cibo. Non ti cambiano le posate e si dimenticano di te, portano una mini porzione di insalata russa preparata chissà quando ma ossidata dal tempo. Forse preparata il giorno prima. 20€ mezzo tentacolo di polpo insulso. Risotto commestibile. In sintesi tre antipasti tre primi una bottiglia di prosecco 156€. Beh mi dispiace ma non li rubo i soldi, voi invece????

21/04/2025: Full marks. Here is the motto "Quality and Care" program. We're in line...always. Ovada means farinata. Typical locality, rustic in the middle of town. People come and go and certainly keep coming back. 5 stars so that everything stays as it is. As a tip: Buy rolls beforehand and put the farinata in them. Fingers stay clean and the taste is simply great.

01/03/2025: We came to have a beer. Nice bar to have a drink. They give you the menu on a vinyl record, very original. The atmosphere is very pleasant. With the drink they give you bagged potatoes. The music is very good. We have seen that you can have dinner. Highly recommended if you want to rest and have a beer after having visited this beautiful city.
